  • Many law students are drawn to the study of law as a path to remove societal barriers for those who need it most, but the pressures of pursuing justice can present their own roadblocks. The rigors of study, external obligations, changing personal or professional circumstances, or even the collision of deadlines can leave you looking for a little help. This session, featuring the perspectives and experiences from the UIC Law community and a licensed therapist, explores the benefits of self-care and seeks to de-stigmatize apprehensions to getting the help and support you need to move forward in a healthy manner as you seek to earn your law degree and change lives.
