This video was just for fun, I know it's (probably) Bobby Zilch. Also, all these years I've thought Bobby was green. Didn't realize he was canonically blue until the middle of editing so don't yell about it in the comments! XD

Actually, there's one camper that you're missing. D'Artagnan.
He was the the original game protagonist who was scrapped due to his hat being difficult to animate, but he is still technically in the game since there's a blink-and-you-miss-it cameo of him ducking into an outhouse in the ending cutscene from the first game. So, Dart is a camper, just being the type of kid who constantly secludes himself to the point that no one even realises he's there.
And Dart's skin colour does match Loboto's.

When I started looking at the possibilities I knew it had to be Bobby! But Sasha has juuuust enough in common with Loboto that I wanted to do a fun little video about it XD

Loboto can be also be referring to Linda The Lungfish, after all, he created it; but I'm more on the side that Bobby is his son (and also he probably lobotomized him because in that moment he didn't remember that he was his son or because he sees that practice as something good for him)

Personally, I'm a fan of the theory Chloe is Doctor Loboto's kid. For those who never heard this theory, the basic idea is that Chloe is a fish that Loboto mutated (like Linda and Fish Guard) and decided to raise as his daughter for some reason.
I admit that the actual evidence is kinda scarce. It basically boils down to Chloe has fish-like eyes not unlike the fish guard, some of mutated fish seem more human than others (suggesting Loboto has been refining the process), and Charlie Psycho Delta (which he has been using as a headquarters) has a fake flying saucer (which might be connected to why Chloe thinks she is an alien). I just think it is a cool idea.

After watching this and reading the comments, I can see the issue with it being Bobby due to that huge age gap. I mean it does seem super odd. A recent twitter post by Tim stated Loboto may have meant a Goat. He didn't confirm it, but he very well could have meant a goat. D'art and Bobby are good options tho.
Slight issue: there are no goats in the first game.
About the different eye color thing, when you see Loboto as a baby, he has the mismatched eyes without lens of glasses. Linda also has these eyes -- which is definitely interesting, especially since it's confirmed that she's connected to Loboto

Not gonna lie, kinda hope we will further improve loboto's life in later installments..
Imagine find out that his brain didn't actually get anything removed from it physically, and that Raz ends up REVERSING what they did. Oh and WHO did the surgery. I'm thinking a cult of anti-psychics.. You know like people who want ALL psychics to lose their abilities forever.
And imagine... After being fixed... Loboto does alot better as a dentist and brain surgeon. Using Telekinesis perfectly to preform them, he was shown to be a master of it as a BABY

It's also theoretically possible that the beefy shoemaker had a complete breakdown after his son left, once he realized what he did. That, plus a crash course starvation diet, might've been enough to transform him from a beefcake to a cracked lanky guy. After all, 30-40 years is a lot of time.
That and Bobby could have gotten his mother's surname with his dad not being in the picture

There is one other possibility you haven't considered. Admittedly, I didn't consider it until I saw it on the Psychonauts wiki, but still...
Loboto could be going back to pick up his pet goat. Kid is what they call young goats, after all. I'll admit, I replayed Pychonauts 1 recently and I didn't see a goat hanging around Thorny Towers or the camp, but he clearly has a means of easy travel, if he's able to go from Thorny Towers to the Rhombus of Ruin for his moonlighting gig. Also, it would be perfectly fitting for Loboto, I think, to mean one thing, mean another, and say it in a way to weird out people.
Here's my issue with that idea: namely, you never see a goat in the first game.
@@a.dennis4835 You're forgetting animals have psychic powers around the camp too. With telekinetic bears, Pyro cougars, and a talking mind-blasting turtle, is a goat with invisibility that unbelievable? So, not seeing it doesn't mean it's not there.

@@DaniVaughnBea Also, it doesn't have to be his direct descendent. He just said "my kid." It could be a relative like a niece or nephew, so the age gap could be irrelevant. Or he could just be talking about Shegor. It would be different if Caligosto had said son/daughter, but "kid" is really really broad. I'd say the top candidates are Bobby, D'Artagnan, Shegor, or even Linda, the hulking lungfish.

It’s no coincidence that Bobby was the first one to bring up the lungfish monster story, and the one who guarded the Bathysphere, the one-way conduit to the lungfish’s lair. Now I’m wondering how Loboto had reacted to his kid’s brain being removed, or if he even knew. :/

There's also the possibility that hes talking about one of the former patients at the asylum, like Fred or Crispin.
Also according to a stump on the campgrounds the Asylum closed 50 years before the events of the game, meaning everyone who was there from before is like 60-70... Its only one line of incidental text that's easy to miss, so I wonder if this info is still accurate and/or retconned. I don't know, its what the wiki said, but even without Rhombus of Ruin this seems to just not fit the timeline of several characters.
@@UltravioletNomad It felt a bit weird to hear that a lot of the characters from the asylum were that old- some, like Fred, Boyd, and Edgar looked 30-40 (or aged EXTREMELY well, only Edgar had a streak of grey in his beard). Gloria, Sheegor, Crispin, and Loboto I could see being their stated ages. Heck I thought Fred was in his late 20s-early 30s at first.
In regards to referring to them as 'his kid', 1. he never referred to them in that way in Psychonauts 1 (they were his 'wards' according to Edgar, who called him his Patron, or 'assistants', which you'd see if you tried the psi portal on Crispin or Sheegor (a 'note' would pop up, saying he did something to prevent it from being used) and 2. near the end of the Oleander fight, they all agreed to leave via cab (Boyd: Hey, wanna split a cab?)
At most, MAYBE Crispin, as he was not seen leaving with the other inmates, and didn't appear in Psychonauts 2 either.

So, wouldn't that mean Boyd, Crispin, and all the inmates are also all over 80 as well?

Oh yeah. And while his lenses are different colors, isn't his parents a set of green and a set of red? It is possible his eyes are red and green and not just lenses. Tho it could beg the question maybe they're normal colored and his parents placed the lenses on him because they were normal eye colors.

Okay, I have a kind of counter theory that I THINK may have some weight to it. If Dr. Loboto has a kid back at camp, what if it was Elton? The first thing that stood out to me is the fact that they have the same colored hair which is a dark purple-ish color. Something important to note with Dr. Loboto, is that while he has blue skin and that could correlate with other family members, the only OTHER confirmed family members we see is in his mind and that is the doll-like depiction of his mother and father. Neither of them possessed many features that Loboto did, say for the dark hair of his father. His gaunt blue appearance might just be a trait unique to him that sets him apart from others.
But I think the most impressive evidence for it is their motifs. Elton wears a sailor's cap, has hyrdophobia, and can talk to fish. Dr. Loboto has the "Insanity of a Manatee," created Linda the Giant Lungfish, has a turtle-themed lab assistant, and also depicts himself as a sailor with a lost moral compass in the Rhombus of Ruin. The flaw to this is the fact that Elton has a known, deceased father who died at sea which caused that hydrophobia of his. Despite this, they have an interesting amount of similarities compared to everyone else.
If they did a live action version of this, i always thought for some reason sasha should be played my Rainn Wilson, but he’d be too old now

What if the original playable character, D'Artagnan, Dart for short. Is Loboto's child and Bobby could be his older brother. We see Dart for a brief moment in the final cutscene of psychonauts 1. He can be seen opening the porta potty door near the parking lot area before hiding in the porta potty once more. He is in the background of the cutscene while Raz and Lillie are talking and is a brief moment. If you look him up on the wiki, there are many articles on him, and it shows that he has blue skin like loboto. He might be shorter in contrast to the mad scientist and Bobby, but what if he's younger than Raz, or even the same age as Raz? Dart could have known what his dad was planning and hid from the events of psychonauts one. He only came out when he heard the end of camp, poked his head out of the area and hid once more because he didn't recognize Raz. Perhaps he either hid from the events, fearing over his father's insanity, or even he could be extremely shy and didn't want to be seen by the other campers. (I know long shot, but I kinda like the idea that Bobby and Dart could be related.)

This is just a ramble here on my reasons for believing it; It’s just, to me, it would be logistically improbable that he isn’t; a character with teeth themes, if in the opposite direction to Loboto, a similar silhouette (Bobby’s fro vs Loboto’s shower cap), similar lanky body type, same skin color, same eye colors but reversed, Bobby also hints that he has issues with his dad as he cries when hearing the part of the camp speech about fathers looking away in shame, oddities in his Friendster profile, it is an amount of setup and foreshadowing that’s just unreasonable to assume it’s a coincidence, and would be too much for a red herring given it isn’t even presented as a possibility in canon. It’s just, ironically, too much of a stretch for me to believe it isn’t entirely intentional.
I really hope it's not Sheegor. The story has a tendency to show parents taking away pets/things that thier kids love and he did that to her.

So, you propose that Loboto's “kid” is actually an adult who Loboto simply sees as his kid. Now, let's apply a similar elimination process to the one you applied to the campers. At Camp Whispering Rock, we have four adults at the camp: Oleander, Sasha, Milla and Ford. You establish two criteria for eliminating suspects: not having any known parents and having either a bluish or greenish skin. For the first, we have seen Oleander and Sasha's dads neither of whom appear to be Loboto only leaving Milla and Ford. In terms of skin color, only Sasha and Ford are only adults with green skin. This only leaves Ford Cruller.
However, there is other evidence. In the memory reels, Ford appears to have dark color hair similar to Loboto. Supposedly, there is cut line of dialogue saying Ford is 75 meaning he would have been born before the asylum closed down. While this would probably would mean Loboto is around 93 or older (assuming he had a kid as an adult), we know Loboto is at least 80. Also, Ford's limbs are so ratherly lanky.
I think it'd be more accurate to say that Sasha was taken away from his father because of his IoM (Insanity of a Manitee) and put into foster care/orphange and they adopted him

And also, regarding the shoemaker, part of the memory vault show Nein stumbling upon the memory of his parents intercourse. And you yes you could argue that its not, (though its heavily implied and we do need to remember that kids can play this game) but i think one has to jump through a lot of hoops to say its loboto than for Sasha. Occam's razor and all that.
Though I applaud you for trying to theorize something more interesting than just ending initially with just "its Bobby because A, B and C".
