Yes, I too choose to be sustained by Jesus' steadfast and true love in spite of the challenges and temptations to wallow in self pity . When I feel hurt by people's words or actions I will choose love, to love them and not respond in anger or rudeness or even defensiveness. I will also choose to love myself and not give their hurtful intentions power over me but rather I choose to meditate on the truth that God loves me! That Jesus' love will carry me, protect me and even empower me! Jesus, your love is so wonderful and satisfying!!!
