But our heavenly Father loved us first. Unconditionally. God determined to find a Way to reconcile us to Himself. Our matchless Jesus broke into this vale of tears and drew all the power of disease, darkness, destruction, and death, onto Himself. He took the ultimate, agonising, universe-shaking hit upon His precious sinless self. And somehow overcame it all. His eternal-kind-of-life winning out once and for all. He offers the gift of sharing in this undefeatable life, to be co-heirs with Him, and sons and daughters of the Almighty King of Heaven. To be born again of His Spirit. To have His renewing, transformative power in us, making us more our true selves than we've ever yet been. Setting us free from sin and death, healing and restoring us, sanctifying us, purifying us, turning us into the kind of creatures that can enjoy Him, and our fellow creatures, and all His good redeemed creation forever. He has done for us what we couldn't do for ourselves, and He invites us to willingly accept His gift. I pray that all people will find this awesome God and be reconciled to Him. Repent of all that would keep you from Him - all that comes so naturally in our fallen state. Ask Him to come into your life. Seek Him with all you have. Be patient and persevering. He is truth. His light will dispel darkness. It will overcome it anywhere that He is given the opportunity to do so. Let's all open our hearts and minds to our magnificent, wonderful, loving God, and get to know Him as best we can. It can be so hard for so many reasons in this life. And our faith wavers too. Help our unbelief Lord! He is patient and kind and bears with us in our faltering efforts. Keep pursuing Him, the source of all truth, beauty, and goodness. We each bear his image. It has been obscured and debased in us, but when we co-operate with Him we can glorify Him now and evermore. God bless everyone.
