    I didnt want to watch this video tonight. I wanted to listen to some music and chill. But I got half a minute in or so and then the common sense, facts and the simplicity of it all kept me watching until the end. A large part of that is down to the presenter - straight forward talk that you just can't argue with. I've never heard of these things before, but after posting this comment I'll be looking online to see what I can get. Thanks mate, you might just literally be a life saver.

    This wasn’t even on my radar. It looks a lot more comfortable than I expected. I’m getting one. I just bought a 2011 KLR and plan to travel and camp on it.

    Thanks for a well made and i formative video. I’ve been a paramedic for over 15 years and also a newish off road rider. Unfortunately on road trauma seems to go one of two ways - catastrophic injuries die to impact with something (car, truck, guardrail etc), or consist of dermal injuries from long slides. These neck braces would definitely reduce cervical injuries in these cases. In an off road situation where I’ve seen most cervical injuries (over handlebar falls, bike flipping backwards onto the rider) I can see these being absolutely life changing in the event of a crash. I’ll be getting myself one ASAP.

      Thanks Jason. Hopefully we'll see a few more people wearing them on their bikes. They make sense to me.

      @@escapeartist7900 picked up an Oneil neck brace today, best $44.95 I've spent in a long time 👍.

    Honestly have me looking to buy one as well so thanks! Possibly a dumb question but do you find the neck brace supports any of the helmet weight?

    • @escapeartist7900
      @escapeartist7900  Před 3 lety

      No, not even a little bit. It's seriously like the brace isn't even there. The full blown motocross versions may be different, I can't speak for those models. I doubt it though as that would mean they are restricting helmet movement.

    A poignant message. Toe-curling to watch. But thankful that it's still possible.
