To a time of youth, innocence, simplicity of life where one can hear a song like this and feel joyful… underlying is a feeling of dread that things can fall apart, but you cling to innocence, and you only realise you’ve lost it, as trees lose their leaves through the season; except the leaves cannot grow back. The song brings back the knowledge of an irretrievable time. Yet I stay grateful to be here on this day, 30 July 2023, to enjoy this song.
