    Our bathroom has more plants than towels. My wife has plants everywhere. I love it, its like taking a shower in a jungle LOL. Great video thanks for sharing

    Can you do a video on plants that don’t need as much sun or light. I think it would be so nice to have plants in my bathrooms but I have no windows.

      All plants need light so your best options are using a moss artwork or plastic plants. If you really want living plants, replace your normal light with a grow light.

    If you replace the mirror with a larger one, you will be surprised at how much bigger the room feels! I just renovated a small bathroom and it seems almost twice as large with a bigger mirror. Keep up the great work- I look forward to your videos.

    I never thought a bathroom could look so relaxing! Makes me wish I could do a transformation like this to my bathroom, but it gets no natural light - will just have to stick with the courtyard garden!

      @@kitariki If you have decent outlet access and don't mind the light shift and having them on all the time, grow lights work alright... but only "alright." I found that ferns and the other "should like this humidity" plants I chose didn't like the intensity of the grow light in such a small space. (I don't have natural light right now, but only have a single outlet in the bathroom, and it's not positioned in a place that would make installing a grow light possible, so I just sulk. 😂 )

      I'm 5"4 and I would DEFINITELY knock those down. I knock my pothos down just walking towards them. Dunno what it is about pothos. Maybe it is having a windowsill full of them.

    Botanical inspired bathroom design. is just simply amazing ! I absolutely love how the wooden shelves look on the grey and how the black hanging baskets look on the white tiles. Great choices 👍.

    I loooove this makeover! The house I moved into had mint growing out of the lawn :S so I yanked some, put it in a little pot and have that on my shower window ledge and they do great there! I water them with my shower head while waiting for the water to heat up. :)

    The bathroom looks great. FYI those wing things are called molly bolts or drywall anchors. You can get smaller plastic versions for less heavy items.

    Plants like Calathea would also work well in bathrooms, since they thrive in high humidity and not-so-much-light which bathrooms often have 🙂

      I use white wash cloths and give them a very hot wash at the end of the week, keeps the skin clean and clear.

    Instead of screens in the bottom of the pot which can pass a lot of soil, I use cotton balls and only fines get through and of course water goes both ways. Just buy at the dollar store for minimum cost.

    Never thought about putting plants in my bathroom. My last one had no natural light and I did try, but everything died. This one has a frosted window that gets lots of light and a wide window sill. I could totally fit a Boston fern in there and it would be safe from my plant-ripping kitty.

    LOVE the home improvement content! Little tip about watering in the shower (which you already know for sure but whatevs haha), make sure you have a proper screen over the shower drainage, I‘m having way too many problems with clogged drainage cause of all the soil that finds it‘s way out of the pots while watering haha. Also loved the skin care pep talk 💪🏼

    I just LoVe LoVe this bathroom setup. You are a genius! I’m also tall, and I think one thing that might make your small bathroom space feel a bit more open is by raising the shower curtain rod just a bit. The extra space it creates from the floor is “ground breaking” pun intended! As always, thanks for sharing your ideas and knowledge :)

    You need to find which wall you can take down so you can expand your bathroom. exposed pipes aren't necessarily a bad thing, could be a nice aesthetic depending on the pipe layout......

    Huge upgrade with some tiny adds! The pothos in the shower definitely gives it a spa vibe and those mini pots for the ferns are classy. Jealous of your showerhead, that's going on a list for sure.

    Looks great, nice and bright with the white... great idea to integrate "cutting stations" ...never thought of that, I have a bathroom with a west facing window in the shower just begging for this kind of setup. The green of the plants and the warm tones of the wood really set your bathroom off. Great vid!
