Here is a video of Michael testing a GIA certified natural diamond, Chatham certified lab-grown diamond and PGGL certified FAB lab-created moissanite with a diamond tester. There are many very sophisticated tools, machinery and equipment available in the market to test, verify and identify these stones. However, most jewelers typically only carry a hand-held diamond testing device such as the one shown in this video. Your NOT testing in the CORRECT WAY with testers !!! #1 : You don't touch, touch, touch in short breaks on the stone tabletop with testers, if the tester has a retractable tip - you press it down until it clicks off / if it has a non -retractable tip ... you press it slightly firm on the table ! #2 : You have to USE a steel stone holder for loose stones , most high end testers have both Thermo & Electrical low conductively tests at the same time - were you have too touch the steel stone holder & the metal plates on the tester to complete the electrical circuit . The same applies to holding rings & stone grips !

Dose moissanite diamonds always work for diamond tester ?
Moissanite will pass with many hand-held diamond testers. It depends on the sophistication of the device, tool or equipment testing the moissanite.
@@FireandBrilliance so Wich diamond tester is hands down the best that will NOT let a moissanite pass for a diamond? Why is this always left out🤔
@@michaelperry4398 one that will test for moissanite itself. They cost a lot
@@chode-i-dis4119 I'm, ok, great and Wich one is that?
@@michaelperry4398 this seems to be left out...SMDH
Moissanite still kinda pricey
Natural diamonds are real diamonds, C.V.D. diamonds are real diamonds and H.P.H.T. diamonds are real diamonds
what is I1-I3?
How included the stone is. Inclusions are like black spots u can see looking into the stone.
Anything below vs2 you don't want

Not true, there are many eye-clean Si1
diamonds are overpriced and not as rare as jewelry stores want you to think...do your research people. diamonds are really not worth anything.
If it that difficult to make sure your stone is diamond wtf would anyone waste their money on a “real diamond”. Literally giving money away to a hustler 😂😂
Will I2 and I3 diamonds pass a diamond tester?
They will, but try to go for AT LEAST SI because Included diamonds usually dont shine as much, thats why most jewelers steer away from I2 I3, but do your thing homie!
Something's wrong with your diamond tester. It's impossible for the moissanite to read as a natural diamond
His tester on does thermal. A proper tester that checks electrical as well would do the job, but for whatever reason he's using a garbage one.
Damn I feel bad for even thinking that the last one was too long now
You all are fools. Diamonds aren’t a scam. Diamond testers are!!
I think the point is that these testers are not accurate.
To be honest i like the natural ones if I can afford. The sense of natural beauty is different from synthetic beauty.
If you only want blink , you can even buy simulant made with glass. With today's technology glass can shine a lot too.
so all testers are shit and ineffective regardless their cost
Why do you talk so much in your videos it bores people and make them move on to the next video
If you can’t pay attention to something for 5 minutes I think that’s just a you problem.
I am SO OVER expensive natural diamonds. I have tons of them. And the amount of money I have spent makes me nuts when I think about it. I could have bought a condo in Belize instead! 🤣Now I wish I would have just bought lab created. I NEVER plan to sell anything and I am too scared to even wear my tennis bracelet because it was so expensive. I only wear it on special occasions and I am always a nervous wreck about it.
And I just got to the part where you say your don’t plan on selling anything. But I’ll leave my comment up incase you have a change of heart.
@@BrandonDoner you cant sell your used diamonds for what they are worth.... Why would anyone buy used when they can buy new for the same price?
