It was a sudden death. One of the most controversial non-calls of all time. Jose Slaughter the import of Hills Bros pushed Jaworski to get the offensive rebound. Dapat loose ball foul yun. Then follow-up ni Slaughter after that pushed then lamang ng 1pt Hills Bros then I think mga less tha 3secs na lang natitira and Ginebra was not able to convert. Then after that sigawan at booo mga fans then batuhan sa Ultra. Actually dun palang sa pag ka tulak kay Jawo ng import nag boo and batuhan na sa court. First year hayskul ako nun and I was shocked na galit na galit and helpless. From then on I was a die hard Ginebra fan.
@@reginaldosano6593 they stl have 2 seconds on the clock but jawo was then spent, they just looked at each other on the bench, have not seen that kind of reaction from a coach even if they got robbed

yan ang era ng PBA noon kaya nga ron jacobs and tim cone put some semblance on local basketball, organized, unselfish you have to give credit to them even if I was a diehard jawo era ginebra fan, kaya mga player nung 90s and early 2000s the most skilled and versatile on midrange and in the post, 70s and 80s were more one-on-one and fastbreaking style, whoever has the better individual players win
san miguel had the right kind of mix that's why 1989 grand slam happened
