I have the same experience!!! I recently switched to gel and it's soo much easier (with my watercolor experience) to work with and not overdraw. Also it looks more bold with the eyes.

Between liquid and pen, pen is so much easier, even easier than pencil for wings. However when I run out I might get a gel liner as it seems to be more versatile. And with your tutorial on turning eyeshadow/glitter into liner, it makes sense to practise!

Hi from Israel!🤗how are you? I love pencils. It's so easy and it stays all day, if you put an eye primer and some powder under it. Another tip: if you want that the pencil in the water line will stay long time you need to put, using a small brush a shadow on top of the pencil

Try an angled/bent brush. Makes things so much easier with gel.
Wet-n-Wild make a small, fine-tipped brush, that’s slightly bent… ideal & usually at the Dollar Tree

Favourite gel liner is Inglot 77. Favourite liquid & pencil is the Huda Beauty 1 that has both on either side. I do prefer the gel liner the most!
