It goes both ways, I had a biker come up to me because I had a patch in the shape of a diamond and he tried to check me but what he didn’t realize was that I was in the Army and that patch is a 4th ID patch that represents the unit. I’ve been in the MC. I started out loving it. Then I got tired of the drama, head games, and the idiots that should have never been patched into a club. It gets old fast.
Me and a brother started an RC in PA. Out of respect talked with the dominant MC in our location to get the blessing. I ride with the Combat Vets and we don’t sport rockers and we are not an MC we still show respect and follow protocol as well as anyone should. We do mingle with MCs and never had any issues what so ever. It’s called being a man and not being a knucklehead. Respect ✌️

I'm still active and was SAA for 10 years until I gave it to a younger brother but made sure his ass understood that violence was the last resort and de-escalation in public is the proper protocol.... that being said I'm 39 and I feel old as shit.... good advice and great video my guy

Showing these guys some respect goes along way.
Living in Australia working as a bouncer I have met many of the local mc guys and Australian has some very strict laws about displaying of any club insignia/logos ect (laws that go beyond wearing club colours in public)
I once was asked by venue owners to ask a very well known local mc member to cover his shirt that displayed the clubs insignia.
Approached him with respect shook his hand and politely informed him on what I was asked to do in the most respectful way possible.
Although he refused to do what I/the venue asked he appreciated the way I approached him and we had a pretty lengthy chat about how the laws against mc’s are discriminatory and unfair. All in all he was a pretty cool guy. But this same guy was also known to my company I worked for. Security on a different occasion didn’t show the same respect I afforded them and got sent to the hospital. I don’t necessarily agree with what they did but it’s all about how you talk to people…

I’m a patch holder in a MM. Recently took a summer job in another state. Took my cut but local dom says no fly. Respect says my cut stays put up until I get back in my area. It’s as easy that. Protocol and respect is alive and well. Better learn it, better live it.

I wear a bottom rocker that says "Veteran" - no top rocker no center patch - unit patches and operation patches on the front and side with my airborne and Air Assault wings. I have only ever had one question and that was from a patch I wear from the Big Red One. The patch is a 1st Infantry Division patch with an asterisk next to the number one. It stands for One Ass to Risk. When I explained what it meant there were no issues and the dude from the Amigos actually fist bumped me.

Air quality reports are in fact a new phenomena in the daily weather reports. They've been there for a while, but are pushed to the front level these days to be in your face.
Showing the proper respect goes a long way! Im a National Pres for a 3% Diamond Club and we have great professional relationships with a few of the 1% Diamond Clubs in the region.

I gave up the club life and decided to just ride my ride and do my own thing, but I continue to wear a cut that I made to express my patriotism for this country. I was careful to steer away from the patches that one percenters wear, for two reasons. One, I respect their culture, and it is what it is. Second, I'm not a one percenter!

You can be right and still get the crap kicked out of you. So if you’re not in a club or organization, why put yourself in that situation. Take the cut off if asked by someone sporting a full patch and then ask them what the issue was respectfully. You’ll be surprised how often that issues can be stopped by just showing a small amount of respect

I have been watching your videos videos lately. Thank you. I went to the Harley 120 Anniversary and inadvertently found myself interacting for a very short period of time with 2 people that had 1% patches.
I’m newer to riding and wouldn’t have been aware of this part of the motorcycle culture. Thanks to your video (and Professional Monkey), I was calm, respectful, and found it a pleasant and again short interaction and I quickly moved on. They were both nice. We were near the food and drink area.
