  • Join us for Part 3 of our two weeks in Alaska! After visiting the Kenai Peninsula and Seward we headed to Lake Clark National Park where we spent several days exploring the backcountry via Lake Clark Resort.

Been to Port Alsworth a bunch. Caught my first pike in Lake Clark. Was there for 10 days back in August. Glad you got to see such a beautiful place. I encourage everyone to go to Alaska.

You have to take a plane! We flew with Lake Clark Air and they were great!

It all depends! One day is enough to go to the visitor center in Port Allsworth, take a picture with the park sign and hike to Tanalian Falls. Anything outside of this will require additional plane rides, but there are plenty of lakes and glaciers to see where you could spend upwards of a week in the Lake Clark area.
