- čas přidán 9. 06. 2018
- This is a compilation of remotely controlled aircraft crashing at the Santa Clara County Model Aircraft Sky-park, you can find out more about the site at by searching SCCMAS on the internet.
The glider crashing happens at the Los Banos, California reservoir. The A-10 crash was on the 9,200 foot long NASA Ames runway at Moffett Field, in Mountain View CA.
The airplane landing on a boat was Lake Almanor, California.
And don't complain about any repeats on the video, if you want to have a copy of the video without repeat video send me $400 and I will mail you a copy.
It may look like there are a lot of bad pilots in the club, but with 400 members and lots of experimentation going on, they are not so bad.
Please "Like" the video & "subscribe" to the channel, I also post real aircraft on my "wcolby" channel. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
You know you're a bad controller when the RC pilot ejects.

Whoever came up with the idea of lining the runway with barrage ballons, thank you for the nice video!
Never fly a stabilized approach, never land at the right airspeed, never go around, and never flare, just wheel barrow it in! Love these!
and never fly around balloons
i honostly thought they flew these warbird s thinking not today im going to plow a good one in just proves my theory all planes have useby dates
I feel really bad for the people who spent all those man hours building the aircraft, not to mention money only to loose it all in the blink of an eye. Thanks for sharing this with us all. 😔👍🇬🇧🏴
That’s what simulators are for, a bunch of these could’ve been avoided with practice
0:34 Pilot has no parachute=Priceless👍👍❤
Kudos to the brave pilots who turned their damaged craft away from the spectators before crashing, saving hundreds of lives.
13:25 *landing* 😂
Nice compilation. Well captured 👍😉
Ryanair be like:
@@My_AviationChannel LOL that was What i was going to say
Gorgeous planes and video work. Full props to builders & pilots. Glad that many crashes were mild and hopefully repairable.
awesome compilation :) ... thanks for sharing
Nice video Mike,,, hey do all flyers carry flying insurance when you are flying in club areas? I was going to start flying but that adds another 100 dollars to my bill.
0:44 pilot knows he's in trouble and ejects 😂😂
LoL was thinking same thing . plastic pilot had more sense than the guy on controls 😂😂
XD, toys can be smart
@@animationglows3961 it was intentional, they have ejection seat sort of in rc planes too
The pilot couldn't take the G-G-G forces anymore, so he said f*ck it, I'm outa here!. lol
@@drake6836 Better call it an erection seat, did you notice any woman crashing a very expensive hobby? No, it's all weirdo's. All fences, balloon ropes, fools on the runway, fools standing next to the threshold. Weird!
The A-10 ejection is extremely cool - never saw a model ejection and the body swinging first is the topper. I would never criticize planes crashing - because I remember that feeling when I was 13 years old and my plane augering in. Great video - I don't know why you have so many cry babies and down votes. I like the offer of sending in $400!
My uncle was very into radio controlled planes. Watched him build a absolutely beautiful P-51 with gas engine. Took 1 guy too hold it back too warm up and check with motor running. On maiden flight, another pilot got on his radio frequency, and the plane hit the only fire hydrant for 4 Sq miles.....
A moments silence please for all the man hours we lost today.
When you think about it, even the successful pilots air time probably pales in comparison to the amount of hours put into building. So really its more about the journey and flying it is icing on cake. Back home in the long winter evenings its the building it which provides the most enjoyment whether they realise it or not. I'm referring to the larger projects here.
I blame the angle of thrust & the pilot.
Pales in comparison to the 300,000+ man hours spent watching this video LOL.
Moment of silence is deserved Only if it was an accident and not the pilot being an idiot.
Nobody built anything!
13:45 "Well we saw it all right here on CZcams" - nice that he doesn't lose his sense of humor.
i use to watch these planes as a kid driving down the 101 freeway in the distance.. cool video!!
Omg... that plane said "Ooohh maaan..." at 2:38
ooohhh maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnn peeowwnnnn....
At 2:28 -- the usual procedure is to retract the landing gear AFTER the aircraft has left the ground....
I know that... NOW.
@@wcolby1 So we can put that one down in the books as a "teaching moment"? (Insert cheeky grin here.)
4:12 gotta love the woooo of excitement from the inappropriate spectator 🤣
FooBar Maximus hahaha it HAS to be done!
I love the camera views from these things. What an incredible hobby.
man i was obsessed with these videos, i hope the park is still used for RC airshows and other stuff
3:00 this is so fkng cool! I have never seen this before!
That A-10 ejection made me bust a gut! 😆😆😆
Perfect video for a rainy Sunday ! thanks
@4:24, the J-3's soul departs and ascends to the heavens.
This reminds me so much of playing RealFlight . . .
and all I had to do was hit the "Reset" button.
thank you very much, my aerophobia has escalated
4:46 thats gonna leave a mark
7:06
I think the cameraman passed out from the horrific shock of watching that plane crash
I didn’t realise how sad this was going to be.
3:44 best one
thank you for the vid.
Coolest compilation by far
13:57 Nice landing ! ( He wants to be a Harrier jet when he grows up. )
Having just taken up the hobby, and crashed 4 times today with my trainer. I feel the utter devastation every time they wreck
We have our huge collection of accidents with our flights, but this complication scares ... after seeing all these accidents, I will start to publish ours with a "smile"! Thank you
are the fighter planes exact scale replicas or do they need to be modified slightly in order to fly at a smaller scale?
0:33 - Hello, its me :D
3:11 We are going down together boys
Great channel. You guys are awesome & rich. 😁
This club looks like a hoot! Keep it up guys!
Right on the money.
0:40 the pilot just bailed out
Those barriers are ridiculous.
Cool video.
Yes, those barriers are funny. All these planes crashing BECAUSE those barriers are there. Safety first, destroy those dangerous model planes.
Great Video....
16:48
It’ll be your last too
omg how many times are you gonna break my heart with this video, ive been on a few flights like these though . And some of the planes are just asking for it through the design alone
Which ones where asking for it?
The ww2 warbirds even crash majestical, such a beautiful design. These videos really demonstrate the skill level required to fly these models.
This is a great video! Awesome compilation. 0:33 The poor pilot. 8:20 "That ain't good" LOL
Airfield near highway, metal security fence just beside the runway: I do´nt understand American plans.
FlyingRob1 I’m American and I don’t understand it.
And this is why RC flying is such an expensive hobby
Way over priced still like em but not wasten cash on it nomore
Why. RC can not be expensive. Just stay humble when building or flying airplanes.
So nice when your flying buddies laugh at your plane being demolished by a balloon at 4:17
Great footage.
4:18 DAMN IT PENNYWISE KILL GEORGIE BUT NOT THAT AIRPLANE
2:24 note to self... airborne THEN gear up!
Sometimes it happens to me on BeamNG :p
BEST RC CRASH VIDEO ON HERE! SICKENING< BUT GOOD!
This is the best content i ever seen wow props🤪
Haha...."props"......pretty clever!
A lot of this seems to be the cause of wind or landing too agressively
May I suggest using a different strip. Preferably one with a foam runway and no barriers ;)
Pretty awesome that we have cameras on these small planes now.
liked all those nice planes keep up the flying.
0:35 Oh no Goose!
4:18 "Matthew?" :(
Uh...the balloon!
Haha
What models of cameras are installed?
which camera you guys tell me to put on my fly??? thanks
Nice going ACE!😆😆
Failure should not be this much fun!....lol
Tim Rodriguez
No doubt!
That's why I quit got a fashion 50 never been flown
As someone who has spent many hours fixing crashed quadcopters, this was hard to watch haha
2:59 Deploy, execution ! :) pretty nice view ! ...
I love watching these crash
The poor A-10 Pilot :,(
Jagd Tiger, He ejected :)
Filmaxx3 yeah
F
He is still in therapy.
He safely ejected and back home with his family :-)
1:40 taking my boat out 🤣
飽きずにずっと見てられます
Warthog pilot ejection ROLLED ME OFF THE COUCH !!! 😂🤣
Those fences really eat models up nicely. I know they are there for protection but there are other ways
Or people could learn to fly and set up planes correctly.
We use plastic fencing and 2x2's at my club. Crashing into them a little more forgiving...
in 16:50
"my first flight, thank you" ahahahahaha)))))) lol
Hui
Haha what is he thanking us for?
In 20 years I've only crashed 3 times, one brown out, 1 folded wing, and 1 bad sailplaine throw. I guess I haven't been trying hard enough. I miss being in a club.
Leuke hobby altijd wat te repareren en volhouden hé succes
They don't make landing gear like they used too.....
Reminds me of my first flight ever with my (very) old Heath Kit controller set.
I was flying one of those simple trainer/beginners, a Falcon.
It had a hard time getting airborne, as I hadnt got the AOA high enough.
The classic rookie crash: I made a perfect turn, but got confused when it came towards me and crashed it over the wing.
My first was a 5ft Eagle. Painted it with natural Eagle colors. Never occurred to me that I would not be able to see an Eagle's camouflage against the trees around the airfield. Completely lost sight of it during the landing. Didn't end well.
Ouch. That poor A-10 pilot early on, I hope he survived his ejection.
Ah the quickie 500 collision. Brings back memories. Of course the only times it happened to me was when I had an insanely fast and great flying plane. If it was a turd I’d manage to race it for years when I was a kid.
Electrics just dont have the same crashing effect when they auger in as nitro/gassers do!
That is usually because nearly all electrics are made of foam and are lighter compared to Glow/Gas planes which are made of wood and fiberglass. So when gas/glow hits there are lots of parts to fly around.
@Paul Dawson Used to get cuts in my fingers from starting my engines. Fuel (alcohol) spilled over my hands. Hurts! Sticky smelly oil everywhere! Today I just connect a battery and fly. If I had been building for weeks, months, even years on a scale modell, I think it would never fly. I'd put it up on the wall and just look at it. I can build a plane in a day now with foam and hot glue. It just doesn't hurt as much when it hits the ground. And any RC pilot knows his plane is going to hit the ground someday. If pilot error doesn't do the trick, tech failure will!
And the scream of a 100+mph foamy will get me goosebumps just as easy.
Was that the little pilot screeming at 3:35 lol
Best complication
I did a 2-year contract in the Bay Area and Saturday and Sundays at the SJ field was always entertaining. I see that there is access road problems in 2019. I hope they can get that corrected.
This is exactly why I refuse to fly in a gyrocopter
0:01 Kobe Bryant's helicopter crash Remote Control style.
Mid air collisions were the best! Perhaps some ATC is in order
Oh these are hard to look at. All that work and smash. I guess it’s part of the hobby. :>}
12:25 oh shit , here we go again
0:35 Oops! 😬 The pilot ejected in midflight - probably had engine issues and had to bail out... 😃 I hope he made it
just one problem he forgot to put parachutes
He had different plans for the day
That was cool having a operational ejector seat on the A-10! 🤣
Lol, the way that dude dead-sticked the wobbly goblin - TWICE.
1:58 The flying characteristics of a sheet of plywood.
Could I suggest a couple of Club trainers, and lessons on how to balance a model?????
Wouldn't matter. A balloon will eventually take you down.
Naah. We want to observe crashing and exploding models in future too.
also dual rates
Paul Williams CG has nothing to do with it. Inexperienced pilots flying beyond what they are capable of.. Hobby Shops love pilots like this.
I was thinking the same thing. Many of these look like trainees who bought planes that were above their skill level still.
Anyone else here because they read the title as "RC AIRPLANE RADIO CONTROL CRASH COMPETITION" ???
One of those wonderful hobbies where you spend hours and hours building something beautiful only to destroy it in seconds.
3:43 reminds me of rammstein air show disaster 💔
Holy crap yeah your right. RIP
"good recovery wan'it" . lmfao and it fell in the grass?
At 0:35 the pilot just bailed, couldn't take the G-G-G forces anymore. lol
This is a bit like watching those old B&W films of the pioneers of flight crashing their machines. 🤣👍
