Am I alone in thinking those lyrics suck? This is not a comment on the video. Amazing talent as always. But whoever wrote the material was doing so while on their phone in the bathroom.
If you think these lyrics are weird, don't look up the Japanese themes for Sonic CD.
Ya it's got a kinda juvenile and unrefined approach to language. Cliche and clumsy. Either a teenager wrote it (#im 14 and this is deep) or just a bad Japanese translation.
@@DekuOfPower Actually, if it WAS translated from an original japanese text, then I'd be more enclined to forgive it! Being a translator myself, I know how difficult it can be to go from one language cadence, to a completely different one, but keep the same syllable count. Still, I've seen better jobs of that, but yeah, I can understand why at least.
