Yes! Usually the Festivals are in the month of January. So visit around that time! Visit Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Aklan and enjoy the Ati-Atihan, Sinulog, Dinagyang festivals - it is much like the Mardigras in New Orleans but a lot more fun!

Thank You for a great reaction to my original motherland. Wish I did not have to compare to other reactors, but yours was deeper than some that I had watched already. How could they experience a new country even through videos if they kept saying, we also have that in the States? I have been to many States and yes, I agree that some are similar, the surfing in Hawaii, Carlsbad Caverns, the falls in Yosemite, etc., still, videos are limited. Some even asked as to why there are no blacks? This means, they haven’t been to Zambales yet. Well, centuries of Interracial marriage, have produced Filipinos who, racism aside, can be so Caucasian, Hispanic, Chinese looking, Indian(from India), Malay, and African American. Just to mention a few famous ones, Apl de Ap of Black Eyed Peas, Kirk Hammett of Metallica, Haylee Steinfeld, Rob Schneider, Jo Koy, Lou Diamond Philipps, Tia Carrere. Many tourists from many countries, go to the Philippines for a few weeks, yet, with so much to see and do, end up having to stay for several months or even stay for years.( For this one, please check out the channel, “Every Man has a Story”, “The Black Filipino TV”, “Livin La Vida Tagalog”, “Living Abroad”, and “Becoming Filipino”. By the way, While other cultures may prefer “Pure blooded race”, We Filipinos are even proud that so many of us are products, of mixed marriages. That is exaggeration! It's just Catholicism was brought to the Philippines in 1521. But before the colonial era the Philippines was under Islamic rule. When Spaniards came inhabitants were converted to Catholicism. The bible was referring to something else not a country in southeast asia. You just have been brainwashed and indoctrinated by the ideology or doctrine of Catholicism or christianity in general.
