@@user-or7ei8dw8j I wish it was like that specifically. It was more of an outline of a person. Or a person and I couldn't make out the facial features. But a personality came through. And the day I met him in person we shook hands and I had a vision. Which has never happened to me before.
Now let me be honest no relationship is perfect they have to still be worked on and we both have been a salve to help heal one another and create the space to let the other heal. But it's not perfect. I still get annoyed with him and he gets annoyed with me. But there is definitely a connection between us. That made celibacy and healing worth it. Thank you for your comment

I am a 49 year old man who has been celibate 4 years. And before that I has a 3 year streak and two 2 year streaks. During this time I have attracted to me literally 100's of beautiful women but they all just wanted sex and to use me to fill the empty void within themselves so I stayed strong and diligent in my self love journey. I still haven't found my divine counterpart but you give me so much faith. I believe loyalty, to others and to oneself, is the greatest marker of a person's integrity and character; being easily offended is an indication of a person's immaturity. Those who are lacking in loyalty to themselves and/or others tend to be scared of others who have that fortitude.
This! I have been celibate for 3 years and it has been the best thing ever for me! Life changing in fact. I have never experienced such clarity, focus and love for myself !
Always BE someone you'd want to date, another fast way to attract someone you align with. Fall in love with your own company so much you don't settle or need anyone is another.
I know that being celibate is a way to grow in higher consciousness even though it seems to be a taboo in this day and age. Thats the reason i am writing a book about it, so more woman can embrace being celibate and have more energy to heal and manifest. I been a journalist for a while and i wrote many articles also about celibacy and i discovered that almost 50procent of woman above 40 years old who became single stay celibate or choose to be so for a long time. Yesss! I so wanted to hear your story on this! It was a welcome boost and validating to listen to. I just hit 4 years celibate/solo last weekend. I’ve been getting to know myself, undoing, (lots of deep shadow work) and coming into my full expression. Major hermit energy. I can get a little discouraged at some moments with the bouts of loneliness but I know I’ll never settle. I too have had thoughts of ‘I’m young and attractive and am not having great sex for the end of my 20s’. 🙄 Hopefully my time to come into a divine partnership is on the horizon, but in the meantime I’m growing and falling more and more in love with myself and this journey. Never been in a relationship (recently turned 23) and I've hit many moments where I asked myself: When will it be my turn? I know I'm ready but the universe wants me to keep on growing. It's discouraging sometimes but one of the biggest lessons I'm learning is to be patient and have faith. I love seeing people in love and it makes me happy but at the same time it's so draining and just exhausting to have to answer the same questions over, and over, and over again. "Why are you still single? Your so pretty! You must have such high standards to not get any man! Why don't you go on dating apps?" etc... Never liked dating apps and I don't want to settle for anything less than what I deserve. Also, one really important thing I learnt this year was to detach from the way I want my s/o to feel like from the physical picture I had of him. I had to release that to know that my s/o can look like very other person I meet on the streets..the important thing to distinguish him from any other man is how he feels like!
I've been single for 10 years and celibate for almost 5 . I gave up on sex cuz I ended up getting a massive block so I stopped to work on myself. I had abusive relationships in the past and I knew I needed to heal from those in order to attract the right person. I'm now just coming into the right time in my life where I'm feeling 100% ready. I think every person should withdraw from sex when they're single to explore it on their own. To really find out wtf it is that they want and like. Most women don't even realise that their orgasms aren't being fully released. They're not truly open, relaxed and comfortable enough to allow this energy to be released properly to allow for a full body orgasm. I think you're amazing for doing what you did. ✌❤

This was the reminder I needed. I broke up. w. an ex to start figuring out who I am and I have been single for 6 years and never have dated anyone in that time. I have a natural dye business and am working as a nature pre school teacher. All things that I could only dreamt of before. When you talked about finally being proud and loving who you are, that really resinated with me. I have taken these years to come into my truest authentic self. I have been feeling discouraged lately. My 35th birthday affected me in a way that surprised me, but this video helped me gain perspective and my knowing that love is on its way.

I've been abstinent for eight years now. If I'm going to be celibate it's going to be for me and not anyone else. However! I do agree the best sex to have is not to have sex at all. That way you don't have to worry about diseases or emotional attachments. Self-control is being in control of you. I like how that power feels. Being alone for a long time teaches you who you are and gives you time to know what kind of people you want to attract in your life. I never want to be astray from that at all. I believe the more you remain abstinent the closer you get to God the more power you obtain. Not to say I never want love it's just that companionship doesn't work without two people being the same and believing in the same thing. Opposites do not attract I tried that. For all those out there that believe being alone is a mental illness it's not. Everything is not a mental illness. I think people that can't be alone need to have somebody have a mental illness. People without self control that cannot control themselves. I'm not being negative here just speaking in general. Some people prefer to be alone. I do want love just the right kind of love not the wrong kind of love. I don't believe in people forcing me into anything putting peer pressure on me. That's how all my relationships began because I was young and I didn't get a choice but I chose to stay.
I knew someone that was constantly asking why they have not been able to find a partner and this is exactly what I tried to explain to them, but wouldn’t listen. I’ve told this to many people that wouldn’t listen. My husband was my one and only, and I don’t know how many times I was told that “Oh, you’re never going to find the guy you’re looking for” or even the worse, “You will be a spinster forever if you won’t do this”. I told people I would not settle. That not “all guys are alike”. For example, I can’t stand coffee, even the smell makes me gag, which is a VERY unpopular opinion, and was told “If you don’t learn to make coffee, how will you ever keep your partner happy.” My answer “Simple- I won’t settle for a lazy man who treats me like his maid.”
Jokes on them that they didn’t believe me, because men that treat women truly as partners DO exist.
This is not to say that my partner is perfect, but that was another part of it. Nobody is perfect, I would never be happy with perfect, either, but find the imperfect that aligns. 🥰
Celibate going on 17 months to heal, but after this video, I’m reframing it as detoxing from romantic - sexual relationships of any kind to focus on myself.

Same for me, I was celibate for 2 years, did so much work on myself, painted my dream man and within 3 months he appeared, we have been together for 17 years now and are still madly in love
Celibacy is truly important. Specially between relationship. I also was never interested in one night stands because sex is not a fun release for me i can not let a person inside me with out bonding with him with out loving him exc... And I find out to be very beneficial to go really slowly with man first date only talking, first touch in couple weeks, first kiss and specially first sex as late as possible! And it works!

what is so absurd is people having comments and judgements about other ppl being celibate. I am 24 and I absolutely hate hookup culture, yet, I would never judge or make a comment about anyone enjoying that. I'm very focused on getting my degree &don't want to date til after that. Society is so messed up people can't conceptualize us rather evolving our knowledge and understanding& deeply focus on ourselves vs. having empty, meaningless sex or going on dates I am not emotionally available for. the very few hookups I have had made me feel horrific and extremely emotional afterwords. Like cried for days after... and most ppl don't understand it. And I use to feel so much pressure to hookup with people from almost everyone when I was younger. its just like ppl see I'm pretty and young and think something wrong with me because I don't do these things. I know it's rlly society that is sick though so it's all good.

At the moment I’m still in a “womb egg” phase where I’m gathering resources, working on myself and figuring out what I want my life to look like. I wish I had this video earlier in my life. I spent a lot of time “just giving people chances,” to people who I was not attracted to, because others made me feel like that’s what I had to do. But it always felt wrong. It is totally okay and in your best interest to not be with anyone who isn’t your perfect person, who feels 100% right for you.

I'm 19 (20 next April (Taurus baby!)) and all my friends have partners and have had sex. I'm still a virgin, and also aromantic so I don't wish for a partner, but I've always felt so behind and frustrated with myself and everyone else to be honest. I'm going to start working on me and find out why and this video be decided is going to be the beginning of that. I went through horrible things from 12-15 some of which only my mum and therapist know, but others my friends know such as I was assaulted by the same person almost ever over day for 2 years. I'm working through trauma therapy for this and it may be a contribution to why I'm frustrated about being Virgin.

I've been seeing a lot of videos about this topic - first by Nathaniel Drew, and now yours! I've been especially curious about your take since your vid with Sky about love.
I dated for the very first time at 29 and it ended after a year. Since then, I've been preparing for the ideal partner through self love practices. Now I'm 31 - While it was hard initially recovering after heartbreak, I'm doing a lot better now and I'm giving myself a lot more grace with finding him. I've been single for the majority of my life to not settle for less and I will continue to aspire to be a great partner to myself as much as someone else will be for me!

I made the choice at the end of last year for celibacy until divine union and i feel sooo good about that choice.

Every time i look back and slept with someone too soon i ended up hurt and mad at myself. I will never understand why others think it's normal to pressure someone onto someone else(kinda r@pey tbh :( like why do others care about what you choose to do with your body/mind and soul?
