Honestly, I had been a long time fan of Markiplier’s but when your avatar started showing up in his videos I feel like the production value and the fun went up a lot.
You don’t give yourself enough credit but we’ll do that for you.
I remember your first Markiplier video, when it came out. I watched it and couldn’t stop smiling. “How cool would it be for someone to make an animation tribute to a video you made?” Pretty fricking cool I bet.

Same here!! I’m 21 now and I’ve been watching since i was 12-13 and its so neat meeting other people who grew up watching the same channels and the little community there is of us
For some reason, my mom mainly watched One Piece, vanilla minecraft/hermitcraft, and Markiplier while doing my hair when I was like 8. Sometimes she’d listen to creepypasta. Idk if it was a good idea bc Markiplier mainly played horror games and he curses a lot, but even with my dumb child brain I enjoyed his videos. Now I developed a immunity to jumpscares and sometimes i enjoy my nightmares? My mom likes lixian’s editing as much as I do even though she doesnt watch mark’s videos much anymore, just 3 scary games.

The Lixian-Markiplier interactions are one of the best parts of Mark's videos. The compilation video is now one of my favorite videos on his channel. It has left me craving more 😅
As a young adult who's also into games, game devs and stuff, but who also has no idea what to do with their life, at this point, you and mark are such a massive inspiration for me to keep going forward and keep on doing my best, I cant thank you enough.

The way Lixian starts the video off talking aboutt how he first met Mark, all the clips he shows, and just the history that he talks about...its so weird hearing all of it because I was there for every step of the way.
It feels so long ago now, haha, I discovered mark 10 years ago in 2012, and I always wondered if I would've been able to have the chance to meet him in person if I just happened to be older back then. I was 9 years old in 2012 and didn't even have my own YT account at the time, so I couldn't even leave comments. Markiplier was extremely interactive with his fans before he passed the ~750k-1mil sub milestones, and I've heard him talk about wishing to be interactive nowadays, too, it's just impossible with the size of his current fanbase.
Its honestly sad seeing him grow up over the years and never getting that chance to interact with him (via sending him fanmail when he had a P.O. box, or visiting him back when he'd just show up at vidcon without a panel); But I'm so proud of Lixian being able to grow with Mark over the years because he is one of the few aspects that take me back to that time period. Its bittersweet seeing them skyrocket into the success they have today - Now that I'm finally old enough to do everything I would have done back then, their popularity makes it seemingly impossible to reach them as an ordinary fan. Regardless, I'm still so happy about the memories both Lixian and Markiplier have created over the last decade. Thank you guys, from the bottom of my heart.

Lixian is an integral part of the Markiplier experience. It would NOT be the same without your flawless editing and your little white self showing up and interacting in the most hilarious ways.

He had a pretty big audience from all his cool animations!
It’s probably a little bit of both. Mark gave him the larger audience to show off his skills but it was his talent and skills that got him the love and appreciation he has now

I love how you do have your little character as this over exaggerated version of you, and it’s gotten to the point where the other editors find a way to sneak you in.

I don't know, it sounds like you put years of hard work in and rightfully earned the position with some solid editing. Keep it up man! The interactions between you and Mark in his videos are often the best parts of those videos in my opinion.

Learning animation is not directed to be used on using on mark's channel. It was a self thing. So, since all he did is not directed or intended to becoming mark's editor,

You remain to-date the coolest editor I've seen on youtube, your style fits his content perfectly and the "interactions" between your character and Mark in his let's plays are usually the highlights of his videos for me. You couldn't be a better match.

Markiplier 10 years later: How I becane Lixian's editor
It’s bizarre to me how everything is so connected! everything contributed to where Lix is right now is kinda mind blowing to me :0 Of course there were ups and downs but..man, hats off to you my guy ^^
I love how they interact with each other in Marks videos, it really brings Lixian into the spotlight on his channel
Lixian is just that good of a story teller. He connected everything that has been so spread out. I like his stuff, but mostly his Markiplier edits.
More importantly, is grabbing every opportunity to grow.
Nothing Happens For No reason
When he said, “I didn’t think I was smart enough..”, I literally said out loud, “Awe, Lix. You’re the smartest!!”. Lixian has been awesome to Mark! And he is so talented! Lixian, you are the best editor to me!
These kinds of videos makes me feel so weird, I started watching Mark for 9 years ago, and remember fondly watching your animations on repeat!

omfg, yes every time i watch mark's videos i want to LOOK AND HOPE for a lixian interaction and then it happens and i just straight up melt because it's either so adorable and i just laugh because when the 3 scary games interaction happens i'm not even fazed and i just hope for it now.

And FNaF was based off of a criticism that the characters in his failure games looked scary.

OK first of all: I first really started recognizing you from the huge sniffer on mark when doing the sniffs lol. I mean, where he _really_ emphasize a sniff, and you enlarge the nose 100%. Found that hilarious and would always know who edited it by that!
Secondly: This video was _really_ inspiring! I recently - and *FINALLY* got through psychological sessions and diagnosed with OCPD. This means I'm finally on a waiting list for treatment, and it also means I can utilize the positives of it to my own benefit, and to work on what's not so good. I always loved games, and I've never been sure what to do with my life, and had some anxieties - definitely partly because of my condition - preventing me from making "rash" decisions. I am now 33 years old, and am wiser of experience, but it's still hard to just "jump into" things, or anything that has even remotely a chance of being half way or not 100%. But this video is really inspiring, in that I maybe can "fool my own brain" and actually find something creative I can devote myself to. Opportunities just don't appear out of nowhere, right? Doing a little bit of everything is just what might give you that opportunity for what you _really_ want, and that can be SO hard for me to see. I mean it can be hard for "normal" people, but even harder for me.
Thirdly: I'm 100% straight, but damn you're a handsome devil.

Dude... I came into working for him AS an editor, and almost 2 years later I'm still constantly feeling like the edits I turn in are complete garbage, when in reality they are probably just mostly garbage.

Honestly, when you started appearing as a regular character in Marks videos and giving it that little "pizaz", it's been great. Mark knowing when to start/end a bit that includes you and you being able to seemlessely insert the perfect animation to match it is so much fun.
To me you are so much more than just a animator. You add a lot of extra humor to Marks videos. You are crazy talented too! Keep up the amazing work dude!

I agree, It's so very hard doing animated videos because the specs the video the context of what is animated like it's just a mind load of many things it's wild. Just like AI animation now, that's top notch coding to even compute the amount of coding and the computer.

I know I'm late to the party, but I have always said that Lixian is THE best editor on CZcams. So much so that other decently sized channels are now following in his footsteps.
Editors are slowly becoming more well known, and these channels tend to lean more on the CZcamsr/Editor relationship...and I am 95% sure that the dynamics between Mark and Lixian plays a huge role in that.
And, let's also not beat around the bush... Mark's channel would not be where it is today without Lixian. All of the "...with Markiplier" sagas, and the upcoming Iron Lung movie would not have been possible for the funny, little, grey cartoon popping up in Mark's videos.

I think another reason why you and Mark work so well is you've got a decent amount in common. You're just the quieter, sweeter version. You both have the same sense of humor it seems, and you both have TONS of drive and ambition. A lot of the same ethics and morals. Plus you're both kinda workaholics. You guys have a lot of chemistry and a lot of the same kinds of goals. I'm not really surprised at all that you gravitated towards each other to be honest. And I hope you both continue to happily work together for many many more years cuz this relationship is absolutely beautiful and the fact that you're BOTH boosting each other in experience, careers, and life is magnificent and rare. I think that's exactly what friendship should look like and I feel insanely lucky to witness it.

Honestly when I first started watching mark, it was before his FNAF era. I would watch your animations over and over again and when I got a notif of a markiplier animated, I was really banking it was you. Your style just had a thing me and my sibling couldn’t get enough of and we would just be dying with laughter while repeating a specific part over and over again.
The day we found out that you were mark’s actual editor I ran to my sibling and was all excited and shit. We both still get excited like little school girls when you make a milestone like make a game or becoming a father.
I can say on my brother’s behalf on how proud we are of you to make it this far, we really want you to keep up all this amazing work. Thank you for making part of our childhood. Congrats on everything you accomplished
My sister and I rewatch the “Lixian and mark interaction” compilations all the time. You’re literally so funny and your editing is amazing. You talked down about mark bringing the most but your editing skills give marks videos that “oomph”
