Rob's face when Rhys made the "getting into the podcast game" comments. lol
Hugh Dennis actually told the story behind his name on Would I lie to you. Katherine Ryan was on the same episode and the subject came up when she picked up a card that read something like "I would never name my child/date a man with a one syllable name because people with one syllable names are usually dim". I'm not suprised that Rob didn't remember this because it was several series ago, I just think it's funny that Rhys told the story (again) and Rob didn't stop and think "hmm that sounds familiar".
He acts similarly in his interview with Dara O'Briain. Either he pretended not to remember so Rhys could tell the story, or he just never watches the episodes like us regular viewers
I was about to type the same thing. Only one of these two was present when this story was told, and it wasn't Reece 😂
From South Africa, wish I could watch all his comedy shows some where, been a massive fan since seeing him on Mock 'o the week!
Would love if his entire collection was on Netflix, I've seen so much british comedy shows / series / ect that I get all the references.
Rhys did so much Hollywood-based conversation here, you'd think he *hadn't* done a round of American TV recordings just this year.
Discovered Rhys James over a decade ago through his Twitter, crazy to see how far he's come. I've watched a few of his shows - good shit!
I'll be honest.. I've never heard of Rhys James. But he's made me want to find out more. Good interview
Rhys was always great on Mock the Week (may it rest in peace), and i’ve really enjoyed what ive seen of his standup.
Doesn't t seem like Rob has either going by the initial part of the interview
@@cuzned1375y
He was probably the best on Mock the Week in the last few seasons, and personally I think that’s how it kept surviving.
Ridiculously funny guy..
The Peter Dennis story was told on Would I lie to you!? Rob was there!
That's what I immediately thought! Rob. Was. There.
Rob memory like a sieve situation? 😅 😮😊
One of my favs to date.
You're both effortlessly funny, twas lovely spending time with you 💕
Every time I think we've finished, we....😂
REALLY good interview! Never heard of him before, but a really great chap. Looking forward to seeing more.
And good ending!
Great interview, it's always interesting when Rob is interviewing people he hasn't met before. Really showcases his interview skills
Love watching & listening.
love that edit at the end, your editor deserves more credit :)
Rhys is great on panel shows❤❤❤
Great one! Loved it
he's now number 1 on the wiki and the spree killer is now 4th.
yeah, is that because of this interview ? and only one tennis player survives, but I dunno how a blue peter presenter comes bottom, unless they just did like half an episode
@@MrPetesime if you go onto the school's website, he isn't even on the first page :) Edit: for the almuni, I meant, not the first page of the school, that would just be weird :)
@@mattyt1961 i have now looked up the houses, even tho I kinda hate the very idea of houses at school, I kinda think its not a bad list of choices
This was one of the best ones
Lovely, Thank you both. 🌻
Rhys is the loveliest person in the comedy world (I would guess)
Reece is very underrated, top comedian
My husband was Robert Jones as well.
they've changed the school's wikipedia page 😭
You absolutely did know that about Hugh Dennis, he said it on WILTY!😂
Rhys was great on the UK Roast Battles series hosted by Jimmy Carr. He absolutely wiped the floor with his fat friend Griff.
Please get Tim Key on
Great idea, but I don't think they run in the same circles. It could turn out to be as awkward as this one.
Middle age 52 to 65, so out of those two middle ages you would be any where from 104 to 130 when you die.
Please invite Stephen Fry!
Very funny guy! 😀
Please get Peter Capaldi or David Tennant on the podcast
Rob needs about 100 pints of water, he looks like he’s just been excavated from the pyramids
Ha! This really demonstrates how little attention Rob actually pays to WILTY :P
Yes - DVD! #poor
Brydon seemed to be pushing himself through this one!
Really? 🤔
Felt a bit stilted, I noticed too!
They didn't have the usual chemistry because they don't know and work with each other like most guests. Rhys was clearly nervous and Rob did a good job of avoiding a trainwreck. Both are great comics, I can see Rhys being a Brydon-esque figure in 30 years (without the singing and impressions).
@@peterhammond1701 Lol without the singing and impressions what can be considered "Brydon-esque"?
Give Rhys a chance, he isn't fully used to lots of interviews. He hasn't had a long career of comedy yet! He's very very funny though
sad that didn't work for me just saying
Too much choice on netflix etc,,,so lots of shite floating about...southern water type talent.
