Christmas 2012. I was in 7th grade. My grandpa and my step-grandma got me a blue 3DS XL with a copy of Kid Icarus Uprising. An awesome gaming system with an awesome videogame to start off with! I thanked my step-grandma for it, and she said to thank my grandpa for paying for it. So I thanked my grandpa, and he said to thank my step-grandma for picking it out. So I got stuck in limbo.

I know this will get buried, but the part where Scott realized people hang around because they care really spoke to me. I have incredible anxiety and I always feel like everyone from my brother to my girlfriend only hangs around me out of pity, so to see someone else have those feelings, even if for a bit really moved me to tears and reminds me that if the people I love didn't love me, they wouldn't stay around.
That kinda hurt though I hope you don’t always feel that way

This was really cool. It truly felt like a TV variety special in a way and the fact that Scott questioned why Steel Wool was brought in after everything he did automatically makes it better than the Nickelodeon holiday special from 2015 where a bunch of the characters were almost murdered yet everyone forgave the guy who was pulling the strings behind everything that happened. “Hello, hi, welcome! I wanted to apologize for my prolonged absence this year, absolutely
nothing's wrong, I've just been busy juggling numerous larger projects all at once to come back
with in addition to figuring out what a good schedule for myself moving forward should be. For
the past five years, I've put this CZcams channel above everything else and I don't regret it.
However as each year passes, not only do I want to have a higher standard for writing, editing,
camera work, etc, but I want to ensure my personal life isn't eaten up entirely by these kinds of
projects. I love them so much, this is what I've always wanted to do and I wouldn't trade it for
the world, but I don't want to spend ALL my time at the computer writing and editing, I want to
spend 90% of my time at the computer writing and editing! A while back, I was going through
my phone's camera roll and nearly all of my pictures from the past few years were related to
some work I was doing for a video, which kind of bummed me out how everything I do is
related to the channel in some way. I have some of the best friends, family and loved ones in
the world who support and understand what I do and I will forever be eternally grateful for them
and their help, and because of that, I know I need to make more time for everybody around
me, as well as myself. Wanting to create bigger and better content while also trying to ensure I
make time to be human means I can't keep to the normal weekly upload schedule, which is
tough because that's how my brain has been wired to work. Believe me, I've wanted to get
back to the swing of things for over a month now, but I have over a dozen Scott The Woz
episodes I'm working on at the same time, many of which range from thirty minutes to two
hours long with music and animation involved and all of that. So trying to work on all of those
in addition to chipping away at projects for later this year while also trying to nail down a
concrete schedule that's a healthy balance between work and life after being absolutely
exhausted from 2021, THAT, is why I have been quiet, maybe also because I do not like social
media oops.

When I was a kid we had the Argos catalogue. Argos was like a catalogue shop, you would order stuff over the phone or just over the desk at argos, and go collect it like a week later. The catalogue was absolutely massive, and they had all sorts of stuff. Department stores truly aren’t much of a thing here in Ireland, and argos was like a catalogue department store and therefore very novel to me. One place that sells everything, and so conveniently? Incredible! The excitement of taking an Argos catalogue and cutting out what I want, then going into the store and asking them to order it for me is something I’ll always associate with Christmas. Unfortunately they left the country a few years ago, probably because they were just an older fashioned version of Amazon, but I believe they still exist in the UK.
