I think he's always had a boyish look to him, which keeps you looking youthful for longer. He still looks relatively "young" as he matures just due to his boyish features. I think many celebrities feel pressured to alter those baby-faced features to make them look more mature at a younger age (like Zac Efron), but keeping these features just pays off in the long run. No reason to rush ageing prematurely (like the whole buccal fat removal trend that significantly ages most young people).
Zac Efron is going to age horribly with the new face.

I think Paul is one of those people with a "baby face" something about him just looks perpetually young despite the signs of aging. Either way he looks great and I actually prefer when actors I love actually age.
Paul Rudd is so handsome and I respect that he has not followed Hollywood and gone crazy looking with the face. He’s been a good example for this industry. 👍🏻
he hasnt followed lol, cause nobody among male actors of any status has done much. Only women are the dumb crazy idiots who go crazy with it. Tom Cruise has had many many plastic surgeries and botox and eyelifts, facelifts etc, as has Pitt and even Clooney with fillers and a facelift. Pitt has had several facelifts, eyelifts and many fillers and botox, also nose jobs for many actors like Cruise. Dicaprio even has done filler and a facelift in his 40s. Many others also. Rudd is like most,in that his procedures arent overdone.
Conservative use of botox helps a lot, and is harder to detect, especially in men whom we often assume don't really use it. I think Paul Rudd is also incredibly fortunate with his genetics, HOWEVER, he has said himself that he's a huge sunscreen user. He also doesn't smoke, which ages you like crazy I feel like. Lastly, I think he has his priorities correct with this quote: "Sleep first, then diet. Then weights. Then cardio." Apparently, sleep is very important to him lol.. I think we all could learn from that, and it's honestly true. Sleep deprivation has become the norm in modern America, supplemented by very unhealthy energy drinks.
He did smoke cigarettes for 13 years, though, so I'm really surprised that it didn't seem to age him at all.
"Sleep first, then diet. Then weights. Then cardio." TRUTH. Bad sleep and chronic stress are like the 2 biggest contributors to unhealthiness that I've experienced. Sleep is king, this is why caffeine is not so good for you.

@@vrroomm not everyone can dedicate enough time or energy to sleep and resting as what's ideal. That's okay. There are a few things, like belly breathing, lights off 1hr before bed, and no phone in bed that don't take much effort which help

Great video. I think you're right about Paul having good genes and taking care of himself. There's no way he would look so good (for any age) if he didn't take care of himself. He's just one of those people that looks good until after 70 and then they start to age. My family is like that, my mom is 67 and still looks 40-50-ish, my grandma was like that too. Genes are the most important thing for most of our lives.

What also plays into it is that he looked mature when he was younger. A lot of actors when they were young looked really young and the difference becomes more obvious.
I think that's an interesting take. Agreed, his eyes have always looked boy-ish, which contributes to his continued youthfulness, but he's also always had a strong chin (and I think the dark brows may also contribute) to make him look "mature."

I also think he stays young because he has really thick skin, which minimize the appereance of wrinkles. His global face still seems full and not going downward for his age, impressive ! Also yes the genes. For someone not using botox and *maybe* not fillers (in his cheeks he's not, so the lowerface is clear), just wow !!

I see cheek filler in 2018 and 2023. He does stuff for his skin, lasers, peels, etc. He also colors his hair.
I think he also had an upper blepharoplasty and probably some other tweaks. Celebrities get a lot of minor procedures because they don't have the downtime to recover, but the procedures collectively add up to a continuously youthful appearance. I don't think famous doctors want to reveal everything because it's bad for business if you give away all the secrets.

Just wanted to add that at 6:45, where you see under eye filler, I also see filler in his lateral forehead/temple region, and just lateral to his eyes to make his cheek bones look higher and fuller. I also suspect it behind his eyebrows, as they're pushed forward, and a little in his glabella, and in his bottom lip. All of it looks amazing. I fell like of you can afford it and you're doing it moderately then why not. I've had filler put in the lateral aspects of my forehead where I had fat loss from aging, and it made a world of difference. I'm grateful I was able to afford it because it was something I had gotten very insecure about. Definitely prematurely aged me.

I never had a “connecting” beard (mustache to beard attachment) until I was 44 years old. I had that same triangular space on my face. So throughout most of my life I couldn’t grow a full beard.

Some people just age well. I've had people say to me many times that I dont seem to age. I am, but very slowly. I come from a family that do not have bags or wrinkles. Apart from the obvious looking after yourself and skincare there is one other factor, your attitude. If you have a more sunny disposition to life you age better.

I want to chime in. I literally never took care of my skin and even had a 3 pack a day habbit for many years that I stoped at 39. I've had a few sunburns one almost sent me to hospital... It was work related and I filed an osha complaint and kmart appoligised to me and offered to train me for a pharma tech job and increase my pay and position with gaurentee employment for 2 years. as a sorry. I quit instead, because I didn't apreciate being refused sunscreen and stuck in sun outside for 6 hours to watch ppl outside to stop thefts by surprise as soon as I showed up for my expected indoor cashier job. Anyway, even dermatologists say my skin is amazing at 45. I didn't use sunscreen most of the time either and I only ever used a face wash no moisturizer. I did however almost never wear makeup... Which I think has more toxins than ppl think in it. So good skin isn't always ppl spending tons of time and effort on their skin care. I think alot of skin care also has artificial, non gaurenteed really, crud in it that can do more harm as well to skin and pocket book. Now, I moisturize some because my skin gets dry some overnight, but if u don't have a particular issue less is more.
