It’s a good idea to keep 2 pickaxes on you when you have the fortune enchantment. Use a regular pickaxe to mine blocks like stone, and the enchanted one to mine ores as to not damage it as fast. You can also repair it at an anvil with the material it’s made of
Fortune III, what an enchantment to get regardless of the durability of the pickaxe. Obviously you'd know not to put it on a stone pick at this point. Got work to do, but should be fun watching this later. Thanks for the video, Tom!

Hey man just a tip if you hold shift and click on the item you want while in a chest it will put it in an available slot(same with like your inventory or anything else)
This has been told to him so many different times, yet he still doesn't do it. My favorite is when he clicks the X to close his chests 😆
When putting items into chests, you can hold shift and click rather than dragging them over

Also when you're harvesting crops you can use your fortune 3 pickaxe to get more since the fortune 3 makes more crops drop, just like it does with diamonds and iron.

these videos are so relaxing quick tip if you hold shift when grabbing something out a chest or crafting table it will go straight to your inventory instead of you having to drag it there

It would be cool if they added Rubies into minecraft, so you could make tools & armor with them! I believe Rubies were scrapped from the game at one point.
If he was playing Java, he could play with rubies in his world.

Here’s a tip: press the Shift key and click on the items you’re moving into a chest, it will remove the need to drag

Those sounds are not from not sleeping they just happen all the time randomly especially when underground. They are called cave sounds, if you want to turn them off just put “ambient/environment” onto 0 in your audio settings. You would think it will mess up other stuff but in fact it pretty much just turns off those creepy noises
Hi Tom, I’ve got another tip when putting items into a chest hold down shift and click on the items you want to put into the chest instead of putting the items one by one into the chest it’s a lot faster
You don't get to see all of the attributes when enchanting you only get to see one. Is the third option says Unbreaking 3 there's a good chance it's got efficiency and Fortune with it

Curse of vanishing makes the item disappear when u die
While having 15 bookshelves will get you the best enchantments at xp level 30, adding more will make the best enchantments occur more frequently. For example the best enchantments on a pickaxe from a table would be unbreaking 3, fortune 3 and efficiency 4. 15 bookshelves would get you all that at random but adding let’s say 20 or more would make that drop more frequently.
That is not true. This is not the apotheosis mod.

You can also put the pickaxe and iron Ingot into an anvil and it’ll repair your pick
First, you have to convince him that the iron pickaxe he's using is not a diamond pickaxe. Good luck.
Find a mountain range.... that should give you tons of coal. You can make map and attach a compass to it to see where you are going. Also great place to get free emeralds
A tree farm will give you all the coal you need.
You can just put torches next to your crops for sunlight!
Enchanting diamond tools, like a diamond pickaxe, is definitely the best way to enchant. Diamond tools will have more durability.
He thinks the pickaxe he is using is a diamond pickaxe. I don't think we're going to be able to convince him otherwise...
Unbreaking will make your pickaxe last longer but it won't be Unbreakable
He thinks it lasts forever and he also thinks his iron pickaxe is a diamond pickaxe. He also thinks the only way to get diamond armor is through Trading. Somebody has been trolling him, giving him bad advice
If you get the mending enchantment on your pickaxe the experience points you get will refill the durability of your tool, so if you are breaking blocks that give you experience(ie: diamonds, coal, red stone, lapis lazuli) it will theoretically never break.
I prefer to keep my xp.

With Fortune 3, you feel like a god, ALL THE DIAMONDS!! >:) But it only has a chance to give 4 diamonds per ore. Its typically 2-3 Diamonds with Fortune 3, unless lucks isnt on your side than its 1 :( hurt me when i would get 1 with Fortune 3

craft a chest plate and then enchant it using the enchanting table. that is way easier than trading. you need 8 diamonds for a chest plate
I have told him this so many times, but he can't seem to get it. He thinks he has to trade for almost everything in this game. He's really warped his view on the mechanics of this game.

You should look into some shaders! I’m not sure how beefy your computer is as shaders do demand quite a bit of processing power. However if your computer can handle it, you can definitely try them out since they make your game look a lot better!
How do you add shaders to bedrock?

Unbreaking - the tool is more durable
Efficiency - you mine blocks faster
If you put a mending book on the pickaxe, it will repair itself if you hold it while picking up xp orbs.
But you might want to put the mending book on a diamond pickaxe rather than the iron one.
