What-if where when assembling the TOP team Goku goes "I know! Let's get Jackie Chun! He must have gotten so strong since then!". Roshi just puts on the disguise and Goku is literally the only one who buys it.
If I were to incorporate Sonic into DB, I'd probably base it off the movie lore since that's more sci-fi inspired. The owls invented the ring portals, Frieza began to hunt them down because he wanted that power so Sonic was hidden on earth with the last remaining bag of rings. Like in the films, Robotnik could be a Red Ribbon scientist who later becomes a supervillain. Or something idk. I hate how much you got me thinking about this.
I think basing the premise with the Sonic movie canon could work since it already involves dimension hopping and you could just add that Sonic to Dragon Ball without effecting the rest of the DB universe...but "Sonic: Son of Burter" just sounds so funny to me lol
