Turning Out - AroAce MAP part 16

I'm kinda happy with this part! it's been a while since I don't work with my oc's, and this time 3 new ocs have been shown!
Plumheart (the she-cat with freckles) is Autumnclan medcat. She had a tough kithood. Her mother left their clan after her mate died, abandoning Plumkit. She was always a difficult kit, who was obsessed about mushrooms and all type of fungus, and hardly managed to make friends.
As a full medcat, she starts to be friends with a kittypet, Cinnamon, who was rescued by her clanmates. Cinnamon admits her love to Plumheart, who also likes her dearly, but says they can't be together because she is aroace. Cinnamon doesn't understand her and is hurt by the rejection, which leads her to berate Plumheart and she ends up saying horrible things to her.
Plumheart is left once again all by herself, remembering her trauma all over again and, this time, being hurt by one of the few cats who she was friends with.
In the end, Whitepaw (her apprentice) and Lightsong find her. She is still a bit upset with the situation, but she manages to stay firm with her decision and happy with herself.
TL,DR: plumheart is a babe who likes mushrooms

as someone who is aroace and likes mushrooms, plumheart's story hits a little close to home,, ive met people who've had crushes on me and reacted, putting it lightly, very poorly when i rejected them. its a very draining experience, especially when they attempt to push you still after everything. thats not even mentioning how many people assume, or just try to tell me im gay, or argue that some ace/aro people can still feel both romantic and sexual attraction, i will actually fight some people i swear. im glad you made plumheart happy and comfortable with herself after everything, and gave her a healthy support system, instead of some dramatic plot point where she attempts to love the other anyways or is pressured into going along with the other. its refreshing to see something so calm
(btw again its also nice to keep in mind that there is a spectrum for being aro and/or ace, and while some may not feel no romantic or sexual feelings, others might. its a little saddening sometimes for people to only pretend like one side exists sometimes. i may not want a partner, ever, but others might, and that is cool! but we should all be treated like we exist, we should not exclude _anyone_ )
tldr: i love this lady and i am going to punt cinammon into the stratosphere /p

This looks awesome! I love all the muted colours and stuff, and Plumheart is so cuuute!
(Also, just a side note, in the description it says that Plumheart can’t be with Cinnamon because she’s ace, but ace people can be in a relationship too! Aromantic is where you aren’t interested in a romantic relationship.
Though I’m not a professional or anything, so this might be all wrong lol, sorry for the long comment, the animation is beautiful!)

nono, you're right! ace means little-to-no sexual attraction, while aro means little-to-no _romantic_ attraction. though cupioromantic is also a thing, where you long to be in a romantic relationship, even if you can't. plus platonic relationships exist, so aro people can still date if they really want to, without all of the direct romance involved!

Hey, I don’t think anyone will see/care about this but I feel like a MAP to the song Skyfall that is about Brambleclaw, Squirrelpaw, Crowfeather, Tawnypelt, Stormfur and Feathertail and the journey that they went on would be amazing! The song always reminds me of the six cats and the challenges they faced.
