When I heard the beginning I just thought to myself;
man, am I so glad I am still alive
Happy New Year, so am I.
It’s funny, I was thinking the that i wanted this song to play at my funeral xD
Cheers!
What a refreshing perspective
Same feeling
Tomorrow is my 13 year old parrots “funeral” that me and my siblings are having at my parents garden. I chose this video to play at the gathering. The last song I ever played for him was Lost Woods and didn’t even know that would be his last time singing and dancing with me. I was 12 when I first met him. I’m 25 now. On June 9, he passed away at 7pm, natural causes. We will miss you Carl. 2008-2022 🕊
God bless u brother
I shed a little tear for you and your parrot today. Thank you. I hope you get to see Carl again somehow.
I pray for your peace.
This is so beautiful.
Similar story to me...
I had three cockatiels. Two of them opened their cage and flew away suddenly. After half a year, my third one flew away too. The last song that I tried to teach to my beloved cockatiel was the saria's theme... And I've never seen any of my birbs again
That beginning actually had me in tears. Been a long time.
I miss games like this one... Nothing will ever hold a candle to OoT.
Absolutely. Transported altogether to a different time and reality.
Kokiri got me.
Saria will always be...
your friend

I got snot coming out my nose, good times
Man being born in '91 and almost 30 now... I can't even tell you how hard this hits. Zelda Ocarina of Time was such a legendary game. I am so happy to have had a N64 and was able to experience this game. The music was truly one of my favorite parts and I almost bought an ocarina after. But holy, not gonna lie I have a few tears. Times were so much simpler back then.... the best pain in this world is nostalgia. I'm so happy y'all feel/felt the way I do about this game and the amazing memories it brings back. I really hope they do a remastered version on Switch. I'd snatch that shit up in a heartbeat.
Hope everyone is well and safe and if not hopefully listening to this will give you some joy throughout your day :)
im born in 91 too so we probably experienced the game at the same age :D
I was born in 2003 but I'm so glad I could experience it on the 3ds remake
Born in 92 and this is the game that made me love action adventure. To this day my favorites involve you running around with a sword and a horse.
Yeah, truly legendary, I remember when this came out, me and a pal alternated with playing OoT and resident evil 2 on PS one. Such great times indeed.
We are one of the first generation raised without war, big hunger or hate propaganda. Don't forget that we are awesome. I know life is hard, but let's get going. So much to do!
omg I have this CD! I used to listen to it on my little stereo, it was such a pleasant and beautiful CD of zelda songs.
That Lon Lon Ranch and Kakariko village sound so beautiful orchestrated
Koji Kondo really outdid himself with Ocarina of Time.
Every song a masterpiece!
I did not expect Lon Lon Ranch to be so beautiful. Zora's Domain as well. Both were my favorite places to spend my time in game just playing the diving game and playing on the farm lol
Ocarina of Time has indeed have a special place in my heart.
Damn. This could easily be included in classical music pieces of history. But with the story of the game and with our childhoods, it's timeless for us and will stay with us forever
I am just a teen that loves orchestrated theme, and I began a journey, which was to play every zelda game out there. I just finished playing Ocarina of Time, and boy, I find it so beautiful to see a whole generation in this comment section together remembering about their childhoods... it makes me smile.
I guess most wish to play the song of time and go back. And to be honest i understand i would also like to. These games are art in every way. Even TOTK is art in its code because that one shouldn't even be able to run on the switch. I have almost played them all, i started my journey in 2013 with a link between worlds but the oot title theme gets me every time.
I played this game for the first time in 1999, 11 years old. A great game is an adventure for the soul.
This was definitely a “find the individual tracks somewhere on Limewire, downloand rip them to a CD” album
Happy Birthday Ocarina Of Time!!
Today is your day!
Who here heard Epona, in their mind, galloping in the opening seconds of this brilliancy.....
Koji Kondo's music = WORLDWIDE CHILDHOOD NOSTALGIA
It makes my heart hurt.... I'd give anything to go back, or for someone to wake me up from this post modern nightmare world.
this marked the end to my childhood please let me return.......
finally a version with real instruments
Back in the early 2000s, my dad had this CD imported from Japan. It really cemented my love for the Zelda series. I'm so glad I grew up with these renditions, and I'm glad new generations can experience it through the power of the internet.
El curso del tiempo es muy cruel. Para cada persona es distinto, pero nadie puede cambiarlo jamás. Una cosa que no cambia con el tiempo es el recuerdo de tus días de juventud.
Sheik. 1998
I agree.
Estoy de acuerdo.
Re Sabio, aunque está escrito en el videojuego, me siento plenamente identificado como muchos de todos nosotros.
This is so deep man no jokes
This is absolutely beautiful. I wanted to play this in the background while I worked but I had to stop and enjoy.
uf, same thing here, it's just too beautiful
I'd assembled all these tracks on limewire back in the day. Listened to them a lot on my pre-ipod mp3 player.
It may be because they were the first orchestrations I'd heard of them, but
these are really some of the best versions of the music.
Nah yo. It’s because it’s actually a really well written and performed version of this soundtrack. I say this as a producer and audio engineer who majored in classical music and listened to this on repeat as a teenager. It is really actually good, you just have good taste.
I remember pre youtube, I bought this album along with two other Zelda Ocarina of Time soundtracks. Used to listen to them as I lay in bed, ready to fall asleep. Warm memories now coming back to me over ten years or more later :')
Damn I want to see someone play Ocarina of Time 3D HD on Switch with these track in it!
The arrangement here for Lon Lon Ranch always successfully has me feeling that nostalgia to the brink of it being melancholic and bittersweet.
I'll never be able to enjoy the game the way I did back theb. When I was a child I was in pure wonderment of the adventure and enjoyed the time with my father since he was also a fan of the game. It was fun since he used to read for me because I couldn't at the time. I'd sit in his lap and we'd play together.
Ahhhhhh.
God damn.
gerudo valley is my jam
Same here...
Some of these songs if I heard them played in a cathedral would break me apart. If hymns were this beautiful church would actually be speaking to the souls of the people
I still remember how I tried to play most of the ocarina songs from Zelda on a Yamaha recorder when I was a kid.
Was the Yamaha your dad's? Lol we all had the same childhood
The description says this is 1 of 3 soundtracks! What are the other two? Does anybody know? Thank you!
oh god at 31 min; all that nostalgia came rushing back; like the essence of my entire childhood captured in a single simple short melody
"title theme" de Zelda OoT es la canción más maravillosa y majestuosa creada para un videojuego, es realmente una obra sublime ❤️
Exactly what I remember hearing when playing the game
The forest temple to this day is my home.
The orchestral version of Hyrule Field pierced a hole in my heart; the nostalgia was too strong with that one. Astonishing rendition!
One of the best strings arrangements that I have ever heard...
Where these the ORIGINAL compositions? Did this entire thing release in 1999? Why isn't this more popular?
I have so many questions
I am going to listen to this someday when I am an old man and think of all the memories
This brings back so many fond memories of my child hood. God bless everyone 🙏🏾😎❤️
I can't wait to share this with my kids one day. Surround them with the music, then offer them an adventure of a lifetime.
~Emotional Hysterical Cry~ Oh my oh my oh my ~Crys~ so many memories. I'm so happy we all made it so far together from kids to adults. ~Feelings of love~ 😢😢😢😢😢😭😭😭😭😭
The best part of my childhood...
You don't look like a Zelda player. Get away ugly.
@@youngforever8494 lol
I used to own this soundtrack when I was little actually bought an entire collection back in the day like 20 years ago of all Zelda OSTs... this used to be one of my favorites! :D
All of this is beautifuly arranged, but two Medleys? In tears, it's so subtle and yet powerful.
Best Zelda ost ever.
I have a newfound love for Zora's Domain
I cried.
never heard this until now. Wow. How did I miss it?
41:05 OMG best moment. That goosebumps. 😍😍😍
Wow, I just cannot believe I had never heard this out before! ( except for the Gerudo Valley arrangement, but I had no idea that was from an album) OoT is my absolute favorite childhood game that I still play to this day on occasion. Everything on this album is perfection!
God! This is the best arrangement of this brilliant ost evermade(and of course this is the BEST ost evermade in video game history) I can't believe that i found this again. First time i ever heard this exactly cd was like 18 years ago. Im so happy and thankful that someone putted this on youtube! This is so amazing!!!
Es hermoso! Grandes recuerdos del nintendo 64, gracias por subir esto
31:06 😢 hermoso!!
En serio han pasado 9 minutos de tu comentario? Voy en la canción de Epona. Que bien.
Still get into tears when I listen to this master piece
I heard this years ago when it was released but the images included here really made this video great for me!
I never knew this existed and I probably would've never known if not for this video. Such a beautiful performance, it nearly moved me to tears so many times. Thanks for uploading this for myself and others. It means a lot.
This grounds me while I'm at work and dealing with my anxiety. It helps a ton!!
This game made me pick up and eventually learn the guitar (wanted to play Kakariko/fishing pond theme) as well as archery. Whenever people try to tell me that videogames are good for nothing I tell them exactly this.
nostalgia is a great thing to revisit now and then. it conjures up memories you thought were lost.....
To this day, as of writing this, OOT remains the only main timeline Zelda game I've played and beaten. In the future, I will probably have a go at BOTW but for now, this remains my favourite Zelda (even with extensive knowledge of the other games) and the music clearly shown why.
A masterpiece
This is beautiful. Brings back such good memories.
Masterpiece.
The music in this game is so nostalgic to me and it holds a special place in my heart. These renditions of the music of the game is very pleasant and soothing to listen to. ❤
! Simplemente maravilloso ! Una lágrima brota de mi ser ! Recordado a mi hermano fallecido ! ( Majestuosa obra )
love it, id love to learn it for myself and my soul
Thank you so much for putting this together!
Beautiful!!!!!!
one of the best soundtracks.
Great video 👏🏼
Thank you for this!

Ganondorf is life
EXCELLENT !
Reminds me of when Gametrailers did their Zelda retrospective series so much nostalgia.
Message from the Game Producer that appears at the Kokiri Forest theme - Translation according to Google:
"Let's create Hyrule...
When creating The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time,
the first challenge was to create the world of
Hyrule, where time passes, the wind blows, and a variety of people live.
I want you to go on an adventure there.
I want to recreate the fun of orienteering and camping,
which everyone experiences at least once
in their childhood.
-Ocarina of Time was created with this theme in mind.
I think we have created a game that can
truly be called a 'Hyrule Adventure,' which is
different from the so-called action RPGs, where you play as Link and explore
the world of Hyrule. While creating the first disc version of Zelda, the game that I envisioned someday
has now been completed."
Shigeru Miyamoto.
The dislikes are from Ganondorf followers
Maravilhoso 👏👏👏😍
Suddenly I am 8 years old and watching Link ride Epona across Hyrule Field.
So many memories
You know something Utivich? I think this just might be my masterpiece
I guess the ocarina of time really works because its music always transports me back to that time
If ocarina of time was a Ghibli movie
Tengo este disco en físico, pero mi hermanito lo ralló y algunas canciones ya no se escuchan bien... Es un gran gusto encontrarlo aquí...
Why are there missing songs? :(
Like The Lost Woods
If you listen closely, you can hear PTX's cover of Goyte's Somebody That I Used To Know in Song of Time @35:06
What?
this game was created by the gods
Can anyone provide a link for purchasing? Was this a CD or LP?
R.I.P
I wish it were an actual full orchestra and not just strings, but this is alright on its own
Oh wow! Subtitles! Thank you CZcams, really cool.
???????????????????????????????????????????????
Just got a Zelda tattoo on my forearm best thing I’ve spent money on all year.
Lon Lon Ranch.
I miss playing my biggo bass 💔 I wanna be a kid again 😞
What’s the name of the song from the water temple?
I believe you are referring to Zora's Domain - time stamp 21:43
36:00 what's the name of this part ?
it's Minuet of Forest
@@donotusethismail1514 thanks guy
