My right ear really enjoyed this.
I am happy this clones exist. G3 and MP 5 are bent /stamped steel which are cheap in production. But HK is asking unreasonable amount of money for them.
Agree 100%, though tolerances with the clones may not be the same I do agree that original HK models are highly priced, so yeah, having these really help us - every day guys - to get our hands on something nice, reliable and yet budget friendly
Just get the POF version. They're made on HK machinery using the same blueprints and certified by HK and ISO every year. Most importantly, they're battle proven. Don't let corporations exploit you. Free markets forever!
@@mustafa8988 I got MKE version, it was on sale at Atlantic
great overview, solid info! THANKS for sharing this!
Thank you!!! more videos coming soon!
I second the recommendation for Bill Springfield's triggers. I have his polished trigger packs in both of my PTR-91s and they're excellent.
Great review video, thanks!
Thank you! and yes, I agree 100% on the fact that Mr. Springfield is a truly talented weaponsmith
It's not actually all that hard to do the work yourself, you just cut the hammer hook down to .015"-.017", polish it, polish the sear, solder in a couple copper trigger stops to limit trigger travel, and voila, you got a 5-6lb trigger with about .075" of travel. Free fifty free and the turnaround is an hour instead of 4-6 weeks...
Did he retire? I can't find him anywhere.
Enjoyed your review!
What is expected accuracy after the trigger job?
With my current optics at 100 yds I been able to get sub-MOA groups on a good day, never really anything over 2MOA which is plenty good for a battle rifle in my opinion.
Good to hear re MOA. Thank you! @@riverstactical1911
Always a pleasure!@@randystrand908
What type of hand guard is that? I just picked up the PTR 91 MSG 18” barrel and wanted to run the same setup with the straight grip.
Is been a while since I changed it but let me do a quick search on my email and will send it up to you with a link if I can find it.
hey Nick, here's the link: www.aimsportsinc.com/hk91-g3-m-lok-extended-rifle-length-handguard-standard/ they also have shorter versions of it.
Thank you! Awesome video!
@@nickperez3452 If you want an M lok handguard get the Midwest Industries. If you don't mind spending a little more for luxury get the Spuhr handguard
Why is this only playing audio weird?
Love the build man. What caught my eye was the cheek riser you have because im fighting that battle hard looking for something like that. Could you tell me what riser you have and where to find one?
Hey man! I can definitely help you out there, I realized after I installed my scope that the standard stock has too low of a cheek rest for anything other than the stock iron sights. What I did in this case (and I'll find you the parts, just have to dig in my emails to find it - been a while) I drilled through the standard stock and installed the one you see on the video, ain't high-speed-low dragg super tacticool operator stuff, but works just fine.
