I just happened to catch some other vids on CZcams about the CoinopsX killer update, and checked my cab. It was on 5.70, and it wanted to update to 5.71. I quickly killed the wi-fi connection, and unplugged the network cable from the cabinet. Good thing I set all my pinball tables and other games to be dedicated to the cabinet, and not universal, or I wouldn't be able to play those offline. AtGames really did us a gross disservice by killing One Sauce and CoinopsX. Now, I have to use a PC for One Sauce. I'll never, ever use AtGames services, again, after this disgraceful update. Hope someone figures out how to rollback firmware updates. Thanks for sharing this.
@@atomicswift5356 Yeah, I made the mistake of setting one group of tables to universal. Had to delete them, and buy them again, and set the new batch to dedicated.
I really enjoy your videos and have found them helpful. I am considering buying a Legends Ultimate today during the sale, but I am concerned about what firmware it ships with. I just went on their chat and asked. They said it ships with "Factory Firmware". Can I just not update out of the box and run CoinopsX with the factory firmware? If I have to update to 5.7.0 (He said 5.7.1 is still opt-in only), does CoinopsX work with 5.70? I'm seeing mixed answers to this on forums. Thank you in advance for your help. Reply
Do you remember if there's a forced update the first time you connect to the internet? Currently looking into buying one new but I don't care for the games and don't want to be forced to update to 5.71 upon the initial boot. Thanks :)
Can you still play UCE files without coin ops x or sauce front ends through BYOG? Why not Play your UCE files directly from USB with out the fancy front end? Not ideal and not pretty but should be still work I would think.
@@atomicswift5356 interesting. My ALU has the double blue light flashing error so I haven’t been able to update (luckily) but can’t play until I get that fixed. Controls are dead.
Hi. I just my cab alu1.1. its still in the original firmware. Its never been online. If i do manually update to 5.68, Wlll i still be able to install coinopsX or one sauce offline since you mention the appstore is no longer has coinopsX. Someone told me if i go online ill be on 5.70

I didnt realize u can bind the pinball games to the cabinet and play offline.damn. thanks for watching

Thanks for the info man. Last time I did an update it messed up the trackball. Fortunately I had another core. Now I’ll never go online again.

So how do you start CoinOpsX without internetaccess?
After one of the firmware updates u no longer need next access
There is a way to downgrade your firmware, I did it and went back to 5.68. Everything works again now.
I've heard u can downgrade. If u watch one of my newer videos u can use a newer onesauce with 5.70
