How insufferably _IGNORANT_ can any one single person be, huh?
    Unbelievable!
Draisaitl broke atleast 2 *all time* records this series:
    - most points in a BOA (17 in just 5 games -- previous one was 14 in more(?) games, both by Gretzky and Messier)
    and
    - most assists in a single period (4) in the playoffs
... Also, his 17p in a series is just 2 shy of 19 (was it?) -- the all time record of any series!
... and 5 consecutive 3+ point games (3+3+4+3+4) also seems very record-ish to me. Or how about thos 15 assists in a series?
.. Oh: and he's also the 4th fastest *all time* to reach 50+p in the playoffs (33 games). McD cannot underbid him in that category!
But with folks like you that's *never enough.*
"McDavid is stirring the drink here - make no mistake about it!"
FO! - you people would have Adam Oates be "just the product of Hull/Neely/Bondra" ... Effing pathetic!
    It beggars belief!
And while these two are tied (both at 7+19=26 in just 12 games; running away from the field!) in PO-points this year, whilst Drai, despite being a pass-first-guy (!!), already has multiple 50+goals&100+points season under his belt (only 26 players in the entire history of the NHL ever managed that feat; he's the only one active other than Ovechkin!), and despite his amazing wrister & one-timer _being off_ right now due to injury, & in spite of all his other amazing feats... YOI are still gonna sit there, cherrypicking "primary assists", to diminuish his accomplishments. Unbelievable!
"Yeah... - that's because: that other guy!"
    BS!
Noone is gonna be so *reliably amazing* & recordbreaking _just because some other guy!_ Anyone who thinks that is totally and utterly [...]!
*It's YOU people,* that made McDavid *himself* annoyedly state, multiple times in the past, that Leon is one of the *most underrated* players in *the entire league!* I thought we were past that? What happens, when you _forget about Drai?_ - *this* _Battle Of Alberta_ happens!
Leon does all this while still being handicapped by injury.
    Effing amazing!
With their current trajectory, provided they make it to the finals (i), these two may both (! both (! both, ffs.!!)!) beat Gretzkys all time record of 46p (17g+30a) in a playoffs (admittedly, Wayne did so in just 18 games!); or lift E. Kane (!) into the olymp for goals (19/playoffs; he has 12 in 12 games so far, thanks to playing with the 2 best players in the world!); or beat the assists record (31) for that matter!
They are BOTH far and away SUPERSTARS, towering over the league!
If Leon was Canadian, we probably wouldn't even be having this debate; not _like THIS, at least!_
    i) Oilers are the 2nd best team in the league, *since Woodcroft took over,* btw.; they just obliterated thevteam being "no. 1" during that stretch (if going by percentages, they are third, having eliminated no.2; first would be florida, *in that case!)* )

Only Gretzky and Lemieux have reached 40 points in the playoffs. Lemieux once and Gretzky three times.
I wonder if Draisaitl or McDavid can do it.

If they stay as hot as they are now and the next two series (if they win WCF) they play go to at least game 6, I think it's definitely possible

Evan Bouchard is crazy from barely playing for us to a whole season to sending bombs in the playoffs. People can say Mcdavid elevates those around him but those finishes by draisaitl, Hyman, Kane , just show how elite those players are.

Going to need more production from the other lines as they'll be playing teams with better defense going forward

Colorado isn't better kn D than LA or Cal.
St. Louis is equal to both at best.

McSaitl or Draivid? Anyway, great vid, even greater thumbnail! Even as a none Oilers fan it's just so much fun watching these two. Scoring-wise quite comparable to Gretzky and Kurri, a different gamestyle and era though. Keep going, Oilers vs Avalanche will be amazing
