Wonderful video, Tessa! The reason for the different shades of red between your jumper and your tie is that the jumper is a Year 1-2 grey jumper, while the tie is a Year 3-7 tie. The uniform styles between the first two films and the rest are really quite different - even the robes are quite different in style - so if one wants to dress up, one really has to plan which style of uniform to prepare! I, personally, love the first two years’ uniform!
That title got me to to stop watching another video mid vid. And I'm not even a Potterhead. I just can't help but come back because I love the vibe of this channel. 👍

5:18 The tie is more maroon b/c that's the tie from Prisoner of Azkaban and the red on the sweater is the actual house color. I don't know why they decided to change the color in the third movie but I do agree, very annoying. I happen to own an official Wizarding World set of Hogwarts robes (Gryffindor of course) that I got in 2018 when me & the fam went to Universal for our birthdays. A whole week of Harry Potter! STILL not enough!
9:52 The Wicked Witch green is a combo of blues, reds, yellows and some green. Plus the makeup used for that movie was flammable and almost melted off her face when the fire trap misfired during a take. Yep, all that makeup almost killed her.
I LOVE YOUR ROOM! I would seriously deck out my room like that if we weren't at an apartment still and I could let my nerd out instead having 90% in boxes just waiting until we get an actual house. Tomorrow is the Official 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone! I was a kid when that movie came out! I feel so old even though I'm not very old at all. No good events happening around here unfortunately for that, took a whole half day checking everywhere I could and nothing. Oh well, I've got some errands to run so that's a perfect excuse to wear my Hogwarts Robes! And it's cold as balls so the layers will be very warm indeed.
