Deejay lvl 2 super rhythm and difference guide | Street Fighter 6

- I've been really enjoying Deejay so far in SF6 and since I was having issues with this exact problem at first as apparently, adding a sentence of details on how to do it is too much for developers LOL, I decided to make a guide after I figured it all out.

First, they give Dee Jay the backstep mixups of Slayer from Guilty Gear, then they give him Geese's Deadly Rave. They went so hard when redesigning Dee Jay and I love it.
I just bought the game and I went from not being able to get a single note to hitting the whole thing multiple times in a row. definitely one of the most effective tutorial-type videos i’ve watched thank you
This was definitely a lot of help understanding how to get the timing down. Slowing down the game to practice helped me a bunch as well as made me realize that I would speed up on the inputs near the end.
TLDR/In a nutshell: The light punch version gives you a 4-frame window to input the commands, the medium punch version gives you a 2 to 3-frame window to input the commands, and the heavy punch version gives you a 2 to 1-frame window to input the commands.
If you don't understand frames think about the notes in music and hum them as soon as you see a musical note above Deejay: Do,Re,Mi,Fa,So,La,Ti and Do.

Got it! seems like ull get all hits if u just press the first light punch immediately after you see first hit connect,. thanks for this vid. I picked Deejay as my master and was clueless on this for many levels
Best tip I can give is make sure your input s a VERY CLEAN, Do not dial this in like a target combo you will miss it everytime. I can almost guarantee you if your missing either version you're probably going to fast. Slow down a bit and make sure you giving each button it's own press and time to register. It's kinda weird especially on the K inputs if you dial it in you're gonna miss it.

I recently started playing Dee Jay and so far I miss his Ultra 1 from SSFIV. But the best thing about him here is that even his basic combos are strong. In the right hands he's a menace.

I can do it the medium one minus the end of it, because there isn't the same gap between each hit, but my mind makes me think it is
It's odd, I have very little problem with the Heavy version, but now I'm stuck in a combo trial that wants me to do the Light version and I can't do it to save my life. I keep dropping after the Medium Kick.
Thankfully being a Zeku main in SFV made this super much easier for me to pull off. Zeku’s V-Trigger was almost exactly like Deejays Special

thank you, I was finally able to get the finisher in the middle one, I didn't understand we had to press it as the hit conects, I thought we had to do it before

How does that work?
If you aren’t good at time mini game light version will do 2000 dog 300 more than medium or heavy when failed. I found it useful at times.
Been trying to do this for hours and have only been able to transition from the punches to the kicks twice. I dont understabd

My two cents, try focus on the medium version first, also in the medium combo the last 2 hits or so have a slight delay before connecting, so the rithym is a little bit different from the first hits, so try to get the rithym right for the first 4,5 hits than delay and press the button for the last 2 hits, it should work. Practice a lot and try using in fights, than you can move to the heavy version if you feel like it!
Correction: pretty sure only the last hit is delayed on the medium special, so even easier, follow the rhythm for the first punches, delay and last punch
Delaying the last 2 hits helped me get the medium combo down more consistently. Thanks for the tip.

When do you press the ender? I do the six buttons and mash the ender and nothing happens.
once the final note pops and shows up for hitting the full super input (seems you want to press it after the double kick at the end), you should be able to just press the button after or mash it, its seemd pretty forgiving, not sure why its not working for you. just to be sure, you are pressing heavy punch or heavy kick to do the finisher right? oh and it isnt possible on the light version of the super
@@TaliosDrakei yeah. Im doing the heavy punch super. I’m pressing lp mp hp lk mk hk and on the last hit of that double kick I press hp and I don’t get anything
@@alexissaldana5012 before the last hit, pause the game and save status. then try it. then, pause again and replay saved status over and over till you understand why you were missing it
@@TaliosDrakei ok I think I get it. Whenever the music note turns blue and falls that means you messed up. But for some reason the game still lets you finish the combo. So this whole time I thought I was doing it right and I wasn’t. The moves will still come out but in order for the music notes not to fail, you need to press them right when the attack hits and not right after like I was thinking. I had target combos in mind and the super is a little stricter than that.
@@alexissaldana5012 i had this same problem. What i realized i was doing wrong is that ur getting the hits of the super, but not the big music notes next to the hits indicating the "perfect" timing. If you don't get the notes showing that you did it right, you can't get the enders.
Man i can’t even get the last hit of the easy level 2 to come out consistently. If anyone has any tips for my smooth brain i would appreciate it
is the note coming our correctly sre is it the missed note ender? someone else was having that issue without realizing it till they found out later. if you are getting the full note completion, and just not getting the ender to come out, make sure youre doing either Heavy punch or Heavy kick after the last button of the normal super (which is the Heavy kick).
Is these possible under Modern controls?
i'm actually not sure? i've never used modern controls so I have no clue. I would assume no as I dont think you have access to Light medium and heavy punches/kicks with modern, Honestly I have no idea.

Yea I wish he could of maybe spent thirty seconds talking about the hardest part of this. Spends five minutes talking about the easy part and ignores the enders.

Try to take it slow! Not everyone is gonna get it fast, especially if they are new to these games. Try to learn the inputs one hit at a time, and once you get one hit/note down, go to the next, and repeat. Slowly but surely, you'll start improving and you'll get it down! I've also heard from others that you can also time the buttons presses to when the notes appear. I can't confirm that myself but a couple have said that online so far. So if the timing I mentioned isn't working for you, you can also try this as well and see how it goes!

@@TaliosDrakei yeah timing it on the notes is so much easier than looking at deejay's model. been 10m trying to land it, and i got it normally. then i got i first try bt looking at the notes
I dont think that is a huge issue cause the medium one does 200 more damage and heavy does 400 which is not that huge of differnce his st.lp does 300 damage so the damage difference is basically a singe jab (but if you mess it up you loose around 1000 damage)although the oki and not being able to side swtich hurts a little
