    You people missed the point. This is exactly how women treat men.
    This doesn't apply to all women by the way, just the huge majority..
    Women:
    1. expect men to pay for their meal
    2. expect men to chaperone them around
    3. never let a guy express his opinion and frequently talk over guys.
    4. always rely on a man to make plans
    5. refuse to let a guy cuddle or share their snacks at the movies
    6. always get their preference of movie to watch while the guy has to grin and bear it
    The fact you people are calling the guy in the video an asshole is exactly the reaction the sketch hoped to receive.
    It also proves how narrow sighted and blinkered you all still are despite the fact times have changed.
    THAT is what this video is trying to explain, if you were with a friend it would be very different, but men have to deal with this every time they take a woman on a date. How is that equality?

      Women:
      1. expect men to pay for their meal
      Not feminists
      2. expect men to chaperone them around
      Not feminists
      3. never let a guy express his opinion and frequently talk over guys.
      Bullshit. Again and again studies prove that MEN talk over WOMEN, in work and social situations. Women are now learning to say "Excuse me, please don't interrupt" or "I just said that" and are called bitches for it.
      4. always rely on a man to make plans
      Read what YOU wrote for #6
      5. refuse to let a guy cuddle or share their snacks at the movies
      Seriously? Who the hell do YOU date? Or maybe it's just your offputting attitude. I'm not feeling the urge to share my popcorn or cuddle with you myself.
      6. always get their preference of movie to watch while the guy has to grin and bear it
      So, the man has to make plans, but women get to choose movies. Uh-huh.
      This explains why chick-flicks are ALWAYS #1 at the box office and action-packed blockbusters that hardly even have female characters do so badly. For example, last Friday's top movies were lead by the super girly Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at #1, followed by Guardians of the Galaxy which has a WHOLE female lead in it, after which is Into the Storm, about that most feminine of activities, storm-chasing. Then there's the Hundred Foot Journey, which made it to #4 even though chicks HATE movies about romance and talking, followed by Lucy, which has a female lead character, so it's TOTES a chick-flick, even though pretty much everyone else in the movie is male and make all Lucy's decisions for her.
      Actually, seriously, movies with actual strong female characters, movies that pass the Bechdel test, have actually been doing well at the box office, but moviemakers are STILL refusing to make them, despite the fact that stuff like TMNT tanks after the first weekend. Lines like "The Fault in Our Stars" would have done badly if it weren't for teenaged girls doesn't take into account that girl money spends just like everyone else's!

      WHO THE FUCK BUYS CLOTHES FOR A WOMAN HE'S NOT *REALLY* SERIOUSLY DATING (Guys I've LIVED WITH and the one I MARRIED bought me clothes, but I bought them clothes more often! Other boyfriends, if it wasn't a gifting occasion, maybe the occasional book a record album, but I'd also buy them that kind of thing. I'd think it was weird if a man bought me shoes if we weren't married or damn close)?
      Most women are still basically "still very sweet" even if they DO give a shit about feminism. The women you describe om the first paragraph, who expect to be taken care of, none of that has feminist principles behind it. That Veronica Lodge (from Archie comics) B.S. isn't cute and it sure isn't feminist.

Not for them, but because I like being the guy who's different and if they complain, which they don't, they say I shouldn't wait for them, but I don't, if you just let it slide and just do what you want, they will eventually accept it. That's how you get all girls sliding into your DM's lol, just be that guy who does whatever the fuck he wants, just make sure it's not stupid shit, hold that door open for everyone, it would make that girl feel less special, it just shows her and everyone that your a fkn gentleman.

      +aabbccddeeffgg1234 Obviously, the woman overreacted or already had a chip on her shoulder or is just immature or all three. Maybe she has a mother who taught her to be like this. My parents taught me common courtesy. I wouldn't dare let my mother see me not holding the door for anyone, man or woman. Another thing, there seems to be a bigger divide between women than between women and men. So, if feminism is such a great thing, why aren't all women jumping on the bandwagon as a forceful movement. Women outnumber men in this country and could easily legislate their destiny. Just my 2 cents.

      +Nick Skarvig Yep, I like Twilight, I'm admitting it. I like a lot of movies though. So it's not like an obsession like it is for 12 year old girls and shit, but hey, they were fairly entertaining. They are very feminine in nature as is 50 Shades of Gray and The Hunger Games. I think 50 Shades degrades women, really, as do many sex novels, but Twilight and the Hunger Games, I do like. I like the Hunger Games way more. I am a big fan. I'm a guy.

    • @nickskarvig8925
      @nickskarvig8925 Před 8 lety +2

      BW
      I think that 50 shades of grey is an expression of women wanting to feel like they can lose control in (ironically) an environment where they know they can't be hurt. Most dime store romance novels include a male character that is a little bit dangerous, very handsome, and has some fairly high status (duke, ceo, politician, etc... ok maybe not politician). They sell so well because they appeal to base instincts for mate selection fantasies. So in that sense, they don't degrade women, they instead indulge them. Not a big step up, but a distinction I think worth making.
      I like the hunger games movies, but I can't stand katness' (worst name ever) personality most of the time. Now that I think about it, I don't like most of the characters. I just like action movies, and it has some nice brutal moments.

It's always about what the man can do for her. Which is why most western females aren't worth having a relationship with anymore.

    Judging from these comments, it seems many aren't understanding the point of this video.
    This video isn't to show that feminists want a date like this, nor to show what an "A" this guy is. No, the point of this video is to show what the world will be like once women have absolute equality.
    Personally, I don't mind it. I support absolute equality between the sexes, 100%. No, if you want me to pay for everything, but then want to be treated equally afterwards, it's not going to work out. I don't like double-standards. One word in my book describes people who use it: hypocrites.
    Lastly, what's so "A" about the way the guy is treating the woman? Isn't that what equality is? being able to pay for ones own things, not relying on the other, taking responsibility for out own things/actions?

    I wouldn't title this "A feminist's dream date". And this is why, feminism's goal is to acquire priviliges and entitlements to women without getting rid of all the double standards i.e. keeping the age old institutions of "chivalry". So in this video here, a standard feminist would expect the guy to do everything even though the woman has every means to pull her own weight in this society.

    • @moritzpbbarvencik
      @moritzpbbarvencik Před 10 lety +17

      Feminists say they want equality but when they watch this video they realise that they really dont want that. Thats why it's called a feminists dream date. It's supposed to make them realise thats not really what they want.

    • @michaelgomez7340
      @michaelgomez7340 Před 10 lety +14

      I see. Well I happen to think that many feminists know of their illogical demands and simply cherry pick which parts of "equality" they'll fight for and which parts they'll simply ignore such as you see in this video. I think they're very conscious of the egregious double standards they demand but they just don't care, they want female privilege and supremacy in this society so that's where my frMe of mind was.
      Now maybe a more brainwashed victim of the feminist rhetoric might see this and change his or her mind a bit, so I can see the point of view that you mean and the uploaded of this title.

    The disturbing thing about this whole video is lesson that women are unable to take care of themselves, and still need a man to care for them all while still demanding to be given the same things as men. The real Feminist fantasy date is "Hey, I'll meet you there! Ok!" They bond, have fun, enjoy the movie, pay for their own food and drive themselves home, without the woman expecting the man to do all of that for her. If they want to go in the same car, why doesn't she drive in her car? Maybe even a "Hey I'll get dinner, if you get the tickets?" Or "Hey it's cool, I got this." And she pays for it all. Why can't she be the high earner in the fictional scenario?

A woman and a man meet up for a meal, the woman pays for herself, the man himself, and they enjoy one another's company without either person thinking the other owes them anything. I never assume I'll be paid for --I do know men who are uncomfortable with women paying, and a fair number who will fight to take the check when out to dinner in a group, whereas most of the women I know split it fairly evenly). I've never been with anyone who forgot their wallet, but I have been with someone who didn't realize a place only takes cash, or doesn't take Discover or whatever, and I'm willing to cover.
      As for me being "triggered," how so? It means having a bad reaction from a past memory, or reacting to something in an old way . Saying hear "This seems unrealistic" or "here's what I've experienced in the real world" hardly seems like a freakout reaction.
      Re: feminism vs. egalitarianism: Feminism does focus on women's issues, because historically and systemically, in most cases, men are considered the default. However, feminism also helps men overcome toxic stereotypes that are harmful; men can't show feelings except anger,, men are incompetent at taking care of themselves and others, men must be the breadwinners. On this very thread video is a commenter swearing that men never want relationships and that feminists are keeping prostitution illegal. That's an extreme case, but it's been fed by some very toxic and very common ideas.

    Haha... I have a buddy whose wife always complained about how her life/ relationship wasn't fair (she worked and then had her duties at the home) and she was a borderline feminist. He got sick of it and created a program that split EVERYTHING down the middle 50/50. Her life became harder and when he could afford holiday vacations and she couldn't... she didn't get to go (wasn't his problem she didn't make a bigger paycheck), when she wanted help with her chores... he didn't help her, split the dinner bill, cooked and cleaned their own meals, laundry... so I mean everything. Half a year later, she begged him to go back to the old ways(been begging for a while actually) where her life was better... he never did because his life was better with a guilt free conscience (it was fair) (which I though was overboard and cruel... I though he just wanted to make a quick point). They got a divorce later (for a few more reasons than this obviously). Goes to show how some women have no fucking idea what true and fair equality is. Just be a woman and accept it ladies. P.S. She got the most in the divorce... he still leads a richer and happier life than she currently does... all because she wouldn't stop whining about shit she had a false perception about.

Of course she doesn't have her wallet on her sometimes; and vise verse. It's not like you have to be a complete dick in these situations to be equal. He could have covered her this time and asked her to pay for the next date. I will say that if she (the girl in the video) just assumed he would pay for everything on the first date without even asking; she's at fault.

      Exactly, and even when friends drive each other it's considered normal to drop off or pick up your friend if you are the one with the car and the other person doesn't have a car (maybe they are poor). Most people don't expect others to chip in on gas unless they are hugely out of the way, and in the video the girl did not live out of the way. The video was funny but the problem came down to expectations; I got the impression the girl had a fun time and she wouldn't have minded the guy's requests if he had been more up front as to his expectations for who would pay.

      ***** Well, it's okay to offer a free ride....
      But if you're a feminist, it's just not okay to expect a free ride.
      Most males don't just offer to drive other males to places they want to go, they expect other males to handle their own business. If someone's a feminists, why should they expect to have it any better? Feminism isn't the belief that females deserve better than males, is it? No, feminism in it's purest definition isn't about being nice or courteous, it's a doctrine, a theory, a system, a practice, it's about believing in equality for males and females (females and males). If I were a true feminist, I would stop taking so many damn things for granted. Much would be lost, males would treat females as coarsely as they do other males, but it's all for equality. The male of today does not always have it easy, but I question how well feminists understand that. If females want equal treatment, they'll need to bloody their knuckles and walk down those dark alleyways alone every once in a while. That's not asking too much, it's just feminism.

    I once went on a date with a girl and I told her before hand how I didn't have much money at the moment so I'd only be able to pay for myself, which she seemed okay with. When the bill came she got really quiet and when I pulled out the money for my meal she said, "Oh.. Did you want me to pay for mine?.." After sitting in an awkward silence for a minute or so I just shoveled the rest of my money out of my wallet to avoid anymore bullshit. This is kinda like the Rape Fraud thing. If men should be considered rapists for lying to get into your pants, then women should be charged as prostitutes for pulling shit like this.

Or be a stingy jerk, keep your money and lose the girl. If a girl actually offered & paid the bill on our 1st date, I'd be so impressed that I'd probably keep paying for every date after that. Hasn't happened yet though....

      Only in america I guess. :D In my country we just hang out with each other and that way get to know one n other. About 2weeks (give or take) of hanging out and getting to know each other's hopes, dreams and interests then we move on to dating. Even when you start dating the woman pays for her share, don't even have to ask or hint on it. It's just common sense. Later on when it's gotten more serious then we pay for each other when we feel like it or we know that our spouse has no money or not enough of it or barely enough to sustein themselves.
      I don't understand why in america it's customary to take a woman to dinner on your first date and pay for her. It just gives the woman a free meal if the woman decides that she's not really interested in the man. It has also started a group of women who just dine and dash. From the start they're not interested in the man and so they just go on 1 or 2 dates with a man and then look for their next mark.
      The majority of our relationships last either forever or for a very long time. Depending on what happens down the road.

      Well it is an extremity of a date as the result of "equality" to show a point. Feminist seem to not want defined roles of the male and the female. Normally, etiquette says the man provides the transportation and pays for the first date. He essentially treats the woman as a princess, opens doors for her, takes his hat off in her presence, stands when she approaches, you know, all that respectful princess treatment. Feminist seemed to want full equalilty, but many wanted to keep the benefits of just being a woman in a man's presence and be made to feel special, traditional romance, which was ok with us men in general, but feminist wanted "equality."
      Now, they are complaining (again) because they got more than what they bargained for.
      By the way, you mentioned "generosity." So you shouldn't mind generously paying for the man in full on a date.

She can obviously attribute to making a son with a chisled jawline (key physical characteristic that leads to a leadership attribute). Her ass is excellent, round but not to round, and the cheek seems to be the size where you can bite into.
      Her gape (in between her legs) has an excellent shaped diamond. Diamond gapes reflect the shape of a vagina. It basically relates to one of those vaginas without those loose bits hanging. IF they did, it would be noticeable in the shape of her gape.

    @TheFrostsabre Před 10 lety +9

    Well funny when you think about it but I don't think this is accurate... I mean I am pretty sure if you didn't have a car and the girl you were going out with had one they would pick you up. Also I am sure that the girl would pay for you just as much as men would pay for them. What I mean for example is that I have a friend who is a girl and I am certain if I didn't have enough money to pay for a meal that they would pay for it, its called sharing and caring and yes men show it to women quite a lot but women show it to men just as much in the same ways? Although there does seem to be rules in society about what men are expected to do there are also rules for women and if you care about the person in the first place then these rules shouldn't bother you...

    • @moritzpbbarvencik

      It's something I was raised with, so it might be. However, most(not all), of the women I dated, were willing to pay half. I also knew quite a few guys who made the woman pay for all of it.
      Typically, I try to pick up the bill, only because I feel I'm the one who invited them out, not the other way around.

    This was nicely done. From the initial "What! You haven't decided what we're going to do this evening?" through to the expectation for a free taxi service, free meal (she didn't even bother to take money) and presumably free cinema ticket.
    There was a little role-reversal in it, because she kept going. A real woman would have probably bailed when she discovered he wasn't going to taxi her round free for the night. She'd certainly have bailed when he didn't pay for her meal. Women are entitled to be treated with Equality+: All the rights a man has, plus chivalry to make life nicer for them.
