Actually, I just noticed a cool detail with Gandrayda's 'Shapeshifter Swan Song' on my personal run - If you end the fight while in Hypermode, it reflects when Gandrayda mimics Samus - Not just the Arm Cannon configuration, but the Phazon 'aura', as well

During the hunters defeat cutscenes, I always try to end the boss fights on hypermode, I'm not sure why, but I always feel it's appropriate to have the hypermode cannon in the cutscene.

5:00:10 - There actually wasn't much interference, if any on Nintendo's part, iirc. Everything about Other M was a result of it going 100% as intended, making it one of those rare cases where a bit _more_ interference could have possibly been a good idea.
Always a lil' surprising to see that sort of thing crop up. Kinda makes me think of Eternal Darkness, even though that one was a case where all the interference that got _helped_ it. Makes me wonder how many more examples of both those sorts of things are out there.

So Helios is the only one of the Seed Guardians that isn’t directly hinted at in any of the lore or other gameplay hints in the game. Mogenar is hinted in the Bryyo lore, for example (it’s the fusion of primal magic and the Lord of Science’s tech he tells of. The closest you can guess for Helios is that Skytown is home to sentient Chozo robots so you might have guessed it had a robot of some kind.

Now that I think about it, I want to state something about the lead-up to the Gandreyda fight.
For years, I called Gandreyda's plan to try and trap Samus dumb, and to an extent it still is, but I realized something while watching this stream. Hear me out on why Gandreyda's plan is dumb and how the game is actually able to justify it in-game.
So, the plan is to disguise herself as a GF trooper who was taken prisoner during the Battle of Norion, and stage a scene for Samus to "rescue" her from some Pirate Militia who are attacking her. When she is rescued, she immediately discloses some useful Space Pirate tech; an item you'll be getting next stream, and tells you where it is: the room right next to yours. She then says she knows a back-door entrance to that room and needs Samus' help. This leads the two of them to an elevator which leads to the boss encounter.
So, how is/was this plan stupid? Multiple issues, but we'll get the first one out of the way that was solved by the stream.
    1. In the history of the franchise, the Space Pirates have NEVER taken prisoners, afaik. Of course, with that in mind, why start now? For the longest time, I pointed this discrepancy out as a reason why Gandreyda's evil scheme to kill Samus wouldn't work, but something clicked while watching the stream, something that Jon brought up all the way back in the first stream; the pirates are more competent now due to their new leadership. With them acting more competent, it only makes sense that they may take prisoners, and Samus being the hero that she is, of course would swoop in to save the trapped GF POW.
    Anyway, onto the other dumb parts of the plan;
    2. The point where the plan was set to go down was RIGHT NEXT to the room with the powerful item that you're saying is important. Plus, with the help of the cutscene afterwards, the audience already knows that in order to get the new item, you need the Spider Ball (or something that can access that track). ALSO...
If you check the map, you can also see that there are two doors to that room, both of which you entered and exited. Any "back-door access" would have to be through Morph Ball tunnels, and how would a GF soldier who'd been held as a POW know anything about the Pirate's intricate base designs?
    Sorry, long post over.

Awww, shame you didn't like Advanced Sensitivity.
I encouraged you try to stick with it for 7 minutes because I know that, having played with Normal this much, it WILL feel weird and scary, but afterwards most people I've managed to get to give it a serious try thanked me for it and couldn't go back to Normal.
However, if you already enjoy the IR turning with Normal, then that's perfectly fine! Enjoy the rest of the game.

I have a theory of prime 1 remastered being Retros testing of the updated to the engine. Instead of trying it with a new product, they tested it first by taking something they already had and updating it in the new engine to help work out the bugs that may appear.

5:37:09 For the question about needing to have played previous Primes before Prime 4, considering how Prime 3 ends, I don't see much reason you'd need to have played any of them. Prime 4's story is going off on its own path, and there probably won't be much from the previous games, besides game mechanics and references.

This semi-new dream talk segment reminds me that I had a very strange dream a couple days ago. The details are really vague, but long story short, I was in a room with Emile and some of his relatives (whose appearance, in dream or otherwise, escapes me at the moment), and I wanted to hug him because I've been missing Chugga so much, but the dream ended before I could make my move.

So I have started replaying the game myself on Hypermode New Game Plus, and I’m surprised at how little I have died. I have only died 4 times. I don’t know if it’s because of Trilogy or because I am familiar with Hypermode since this is my second time playing that difficulty, but I have been enjoying it a lot.
Side note: I legitimately have been having fun using Hypermode in this difficulty. I would say where I ended off but because I am currently typing this long before I finish this VOD, I won’t say

With how aggressive enemies are, always itchin' for a fight, and the long load times for some of these doors, it's probably not worth it to ignore enemies. You're better off fighting them instead of taking potshots waiting for the doors to open. Same goes for platforming and such. It's best to establish a safe area before doing just about anything, which gets kind of annoying.
