Superhero movies have dominated the box office for well over a decade at this point, but it wasn’t always like that. While it may look dated by today’s standards, the 1978 Superman movie paved the way for the genre on the big screen.
Superman definitely raises some questions. Like why did Clark start a love triangle against himself? What was with that little poem recital? How did Lex figure out that would be lethal, let alone that it existed on Earth?
To answer all these questions, check out the pitch meeting that led to Superman!

This was one of the few times they actually did good making Clark look different from Superman. Mainly because of the actor's raw skill. As Clark he hunched/slouched enough to lose a few inches, maintaining a sort of small man demeanor, always apologizing and slipping up, while as Superman he went out of his way to ooze confidence and strength and control. Without distinguishing birthmarks, it actually is easy to see people not putting it together.

It was like choosing between Superman being Jor El's Son and not messing with nature and mankind too much or Being Clark Kent The Kents Son and do everything to save the people loves, In The first choice he has to choose to sacrifice his loved ones to save the world which in the comic books he Never did sacrifice anyone To do that That's Why Man Of Steel iwas so and s controversial for ruining the arc which is not even accurate as in the comic books and in this movie as we see which he was maintaining so far, as going too fast would also break parallel world barrier because much like Flash, Superman is super strong, or strongest in fiction to maintain balance as even flash despite being normal his punches are string because of speed and Superman si already th strongest with speed he would destroy realities without even touching it. lex Luthor knew he was too kind to take that risk and he Was right he didn't wanted to take that risk as Even Kents told him to be his Real parents son but He decided to be his real self Clark Kent and save everyone in anyway possible.

Glad somebody mentioned it, I thought my eyes were messed up when he didn't look anything like Christopher Reeves. Been so long since I watched it that I forgot they used a different guy that looked practically the same age or older as a teen.
    😆👍
