That must be the biggest lie of the Temple being burned down. You cannot burn down marble stone like charcoal. The Temple stone columns that are still standing have absolutely no prove of being burned they are white and there is no burnt markings.

Check out the New Testament. The silversmiths were upset by Paul's preaching because they made their living making and selling small silver models of the temple.

This is an interesting video! The Goddess Artemis was not associated with fertility because she had many breasts, it was a symbol of being a great Mother and nourishing all the animals and people, it was not a sexual image, but a mothering one. Almost every Goddess is interpreted as a "fertility" Goddess! Ha. She was a Virgin and a powerful mother as well. Everything naked in ancient religion today is depicted as sexual by the people of this culture, because sex has taken over the word love. For instance, Aphrodite is depicted as an erotic Goddess because she was the Goddess of Love, but the Greeks had five words for love and one was Agape - or higher love. Care-taking love, love of family and a higher love that serves the greater good would've been way more important than erotic love, which sometimes can be the opposite of love! Selfish physical over loving altruism. So I think these things can be misinterpreted sometimes! I liked this video though! What an amazing story of the temples and I loved seeing them in here. It is beautiful what they created then, the art stands the test of time.

What wasn't mentioned is that women who survived childbearing would offer the clothing to the goddess, but woman who died during childbearing would have her family offer her clothing to the goddess which further establishes her Involvement with fertility and childbearing.

@@jenathent4840 nah.... just the "authorities" but he did say that he did it for notoriety and fame....they used the rack on him tho, that much was documented and if u know anything about that particular joy, u would understand why anyone would say whatever the ppl hurting them WANTED to hear!! Sucker pulled ur joints out of socket or sometimes, the accusers would just beat the ever loving crap out of your body with a big stick or rod AND then twist the mechanism to stretch your butt out, which could also tear ur muscles and tissues and cause organs to fall out and lord knows what else happened to you on it. Not to mention, the infection that would set in bc hygiene and antibiotics weren't a thing nor would they have been provided to you as a prisoner of the emperor or whomever was calling the shots at the time.

    SMALLER PARTHENON?!?!
I suggest you refer to Pliny's and other historian's records
There's a reason why this was one of the 7 ancient wonders and not Parthenon.

Oh yes, and the part about being built on sheepskins is false, that's Christian propaganda that their enemies built their temples on the blood of innocent lambs - like wait, the Christians openly do - sacrificing a lamb and lambs to build their religion and slaving their own little lamb girls "women be subject in all things." Trust me sacrifice of a virginal lamb doesn't mean a good thing in Christianity. Been there, done that, Catholic and Asian schoolgirl porn. The Christian god also practiced animal sacrifice all throughout the old testament. The Greeks and Romans created a little things called democracy and civilization something their enemies have been trying to write over with propaganda warfare ever since. The temple of Artemis is not destroyed she exists in the heart of the people and people still worship her today as the hunter of the beast in people's soul and as the protector of animals. As the saying goes..."The old gods are alive and with us still and their voices ring down through the centuries." Maybe the spirit of Artemis will free women and animals from the slavers and abusers of this world! I think her legacy lives on and always will!

leave it to the Christian's to go around the world to spread the word of God by destroying all those beautiful buildings and destroying countless cultures through genocide because they wouldn't convert to Christianity. Then demanded those who survived to thank God for his "blessings".
When Jesus told them to go out and spread the word of God I'm pretty sure that he didn't tell them to kill people or to wipeout cultures if/when they refused. I think i missed that part in the Bible.
