  • McHale Fusion Integrated Baler Wrapper
The McHale Fusion 2 integrated baler wrapper combines two traditionally separate jobs; namely baling and bale wrapping and integrates both baling and bale wrapping into a single operation, which can be done by one man and one machine. This robust integrated baler wrapper machine is simply not a wrapper coupled onto a baler; it has been specifically designed as a high output unit. Producing up to 60 bales an hour the Fusion 2's single pass operation increases productivity and reduces operating costs whilst increasing profits. The Fusion 2 is unique baler wrapper in that it has been specifically designed as a high output Integrated Baler Wrapper and consists of the following features:
    • Compact design -- 5.8 meters
    • Unique bale transfer
    • High Speed vertical wrapping ring -- 20 seconds for 4 layers/30 seconds for 6 layers
    • 23 knife capacity -- 50mm chop length
    • Progressive greasing system
    • Single braked axle -- less ground scuffing
    • 50mm Double raced roller bearings on the main load points
    • One control console for the baler wrapper which is very user friendly and has a large graphic display
Choose McHale for high output integrated baler wrappers, fixed chamber round balers or variable chamber round balers, which can be used in the production of round bales of silage, hay and straw. McHale also manufacture a range of round and square bale wrappers and bale handling equipment. The McHale equipment range consists of two round bale handlers, a round bale splitter and a range of three block cutters or shear grabs. They do produce a great solid bale..... And the Fusion also travels well on soft ground - even with a bale in the chamber & one being wrapped, it hardly made a mark!

I averaged 54 bales an hour today, love the Mchale baler.

Yes by simply selecting a button on the control box the wrapping ring is eliminated and you can use the wrapping table to put two bales side by side for easier handling.

    Bruce,
It really depends a number of factors
    - the output you want.
    - the ground conditions you are in.
    - the number of knifes you want to use.
    - the hydraulic system on the tractor (load sensing is best as it only pumps oil when needed)
I have seen Fusions on tractors 120+ (with load sensing hydraulics).

@Egglingen it will bale hills but the only prob is you cant transfer down hill cause it wont come out and facing up hill it can shoot straight out the back and cause theres no sensers to tell the baler where the bale is you have to watch it ALOT it assumes that the bale is there

The machine works very well. Overall in my opinion the machine performs better on load sensing hydraulics, however I have seen lots of machines working on open centre without a problem. The main advantage of load sensing is you are not pumping oil constantly, this results in the fact that the oil does not get as hot . Load sensing can also be an advantage if you have a tractor with lower horse power as you are not pumping oil all the time and have more power to pack the bale or climb the hill.

@jimmy75256 you cant weld anything to it to had storage. And i had a hill i drove regularly and the tractor pulled the same with either on and the goweil weighed in at a hefyt 8t, fusion 6t. we only took the goweil to step step ground. we had 710s on fusion for the peat, from memory there wasnt much in it cause the goweil had 650s on it. no rap dramas with goweil 75% stretch, fusion 70% stretch but grass intervens with rap from bale transfer. good bearings thow in fusion. we had Mc560 in goweil
