- After the epic episode of NCIS, 8x14, I just had to make a video as a tribute. As a Kate fan it was bittersweet for them to talk about her and flashback to her. I love that Abby misses Kate and that she still thinks of her as her closest friend. As much as I love Ziva and her relationship with Abby, I think that Abby was closer to Kate as they hung out more and it was them two against the guys. I love that Ducky still remembers the sadness of how he felt. I love that Kate's sister wanted to get peace, they did a good job finding the actress, she actually looked like Sasha and I LOVE Tony's reaction when he realized who Rachel was. It is nice to see that her death affected him since I still do not think that he showed much emotion to losing her considering that they were partners and friends. The lost Tony and Kate scene was beautiful, I miss their friendship, it was unique and fresh. I have to say, Gibbs and Rachel stole the episode at the end, when he saw Rachel sleeping by Kate's old desk and he flashed back to Kate sleeping there. I could go on for ages talking about how great this episode was.
This video turned out alright, not as good as I imagined though. There were so many other voiceovers and scenes I wanted to use. I picked the scenes that were the most powerful. The quotes were:

Rachel: Too bad she never got a chance to tell you that.
Tony: I think I just realized who you are, Rachel!
Gibbs: You looked just like your sister, you know that?
Gibbs: Pull that crap at NCIS, I won't give you a chance to resign
Kate: Is that a job offer?
Gibbs: Do you feel that? Right there?
This is where the guy who murdered Kate died. This is where Ziva shot her own brother. That, doc, is closure.

In my opinion, Ziva will never, ever replace Kate. I like Ziva, but Kate was perfect. She had brilliant relationships with everyone, and I especially loved how she was like a big sister to Abby, and the sort of girlfriend/boyfriend relationship with Tony... I know people are always saying that they were just friends, but I always see their relationship more than that... this video is beautiful. RIP, Kate, we'll never forget you

I stopped watching NCIS after Kate's death. Today this episode was shown on TV, and I still got teary eyes.
I seriously have only watched the episode where Kate is there!, well except the Sarah McGee episode!, Kate is my favorite character on Ncis!
I haven't been watching the new seasons, but I heard about the "lost scene" and had to find it. Your vid made me cry. :(

I cry a lot in this episode when Rachel writes the letter to Director Vance and design that we all react in different ways to life and go kate's funeral made me mourn that part

My cousin who is younger she is only like 7 watched that episode and was like i dont get it what is so good about this episode and she didnt understand till the very end when rachel and gibbs were in his basment that rachel was kate's sister then she cried
