I recently played it on switch, it was pretty laggy at some times but besides that I really enjoyed it. it has a steep learning curve, but after the tuturial it becomes really fun.
I couldn’t get into it. Blasphemous was great. It’s sad got me into mv. but the lack of voice acting and the visuals in moon scars just couldn’t keep up
Interesting you say that since moonscars is probably the most similar mv to blasphemous imo both art style and combat. I get the voice acting but the game looks almost identical to blasphemous in art style idk where u got that from😂
@@samatkinson4331its similar but nowhere near the same blasphemous was unique because it focuses on Spanish Catholicism which hasn’t been done before in a video game. All the designs in that game are tied to old Spanish history, so i can see how its hard to play other metroidvania games after experiencing such a different take
I didnt die to a single boss. Probably died 5 times max from carelessness in the world levels. The easy mode is the parry amulet that regens health, the one where u receive significant ichor when you get hit and the one that makes you slower but tankier.

I can say moonscars looks to be superior in the combat design. It flows way way better than Blasphemous ever did
I wish devs made more Castlevania esque metroidvanias instead of these. Too many of these games coming out and they all look and play the same.
