Please consider reading this whole question i need an answer urgently.i am a 13 year old that lives live in pakistan and i am very confused that i should choose O levels or matric or o levels. I personally want to do O levels but i am scared that if i dont get good grades i will waste my parents money. My parents on the other hand want me to do matric they are not forsing me they are just recommending it to me. I am quite sure they will be convinced for me yo do matric. Can any one advise me please?

Well you would not have wasted their money. Both systems have the same difficulty level, you will perform equally good bothways. Olevel grades are not considered in univerisities in and out of Pakistan. Medical colleges only pay a 10 percent attention to these grades. On the other hand, you can always switch to FSc after Olevels. But Olevels really helps develop your concepts alot. You perform way better than an average matric student. The major costs are tution fee, the fee for your exams, cost of books and past papers. If your parents can afford all these costs, Olevels is a far better option.

@@areeshawaqas7384 actually i will be also starting 9th after some days and in our school the actual o level starts from 9 so i will be joining o level after i year of matric so its not a big deal
I studied in matric system till 8th grade and now im in grade 9 can i take admission in o level from 9th grade. Actually i want to leave my secondary system school.

I've chosen olevels and currently doing O1 I'm really stressed out since i didn't have enough information regarding olevels and how costly it is though my parents are somehow affording the fees I'm puzzled about the exam fees can you please elaborate how much the exam fees is if I do olevels privately will the cost still be the same? im not sure but it ranges from 25k to 45k. its different for every subject

Going abroad for mbbs is not recommended. It will be a long and expensive journey. For mbbs in Pakistan Fsc is the only option.

Hi there, I was desired to study BS computer science, So, after Metric, and inter by BISE Lahore with combination of MATH, STAT, and COMPUTER, Now I'm a regular student of BS computer Science and just 3 semesters are left to get it complete.

I am in 6 grade alot of people suggest me to do o-level but for me it's difficult because my future depends on it. I study in bahria international school lahore and we have to chose what we are gonna do and the students will be saperated in two different groups you can say so I am a bit confuse

First of all, most people won't answer you if you ask them to be quick so avoid doing that. You should chose Olevels if you aim to go abroad for engineering degrees. If you plan to study in Pakistan, matric shall be better.

Offcourse you can. Take CS, MATH and PHYSICS. You can also take business subjects with CS.

Yes you can, youll need to switch to a school where Olevel starts from ninth grade. That is exactly what I did and most private schools start their Olevels from 9th in Pakistan.

Ummar, it is always preferable to do Matric/FSc if you want to study medical in Pakistan and try to get a government seat. If you are interested in private universities, AKU and DOW then they prefer O/A level students.

@@uwuuwu5680 not at all, A Levels is difficult is just a myth, in fact A Levels is easy, it gives freedom to students to choses the subjects whatever they want, not readymade combinations like Pakistani Boards, in A Levels you can choose any subjects you want, And also A Levels give technical education conceptual education and up to date curriculum, which changes almost after every two years.

Well yes, if you get an equivalence certificate, they round off your marks. You can not score more than 90 percent at all

Well you can still try Olevels and then do FSc afterwards. O'levels will help build your concepts and also your personality. You will feel the change in yourself. You can get an admission in engineering programmes at many good universities in pakistan even after Alevels.
