The SE was my first (and only) iOS device. AT&T offered it in 32 GB as a prepaid option for something like $150. I liked it a lot. But I eventually sold it to get a Moto G 5 plus because I missed Android. Bad move. I should have just waited to get a great deal on a galaxy, and I eventually went back to Samsung on the S8 Active.
I had a IPhone 4s but now I have a SE and its such a upgrade Like now I have Touch ID a lighting port better camera with slo motion IOS 10 which the 4S does not support its also has airdrop which again the 4S does support also it has 4K video and best of all I can play games like Pokemon GO and won't crash because the SE powerful enough to handle them and the 4S just crashes when I try to play so I'm sayin the SE is a huge upgrade

"People have said that the new iPhone SE is just the iPhone 6S in the body of an iPhone 5S" "That's not exactly true" And the rest of the video she just went on to say why that is EXACTLY true. Her setup totally led me to expect some insights on the SE, but there was none. What she described was exactly how the internals of 6S was fitted into the smaller body/screen of SE. The Verge's article's caption was totally misleading as well. "Little.Different.Better." In no way did what she said gave a whiff that the SE was *better*. Even when she was trying to laud the battery life, all she gave was "even lasted longer than the 6S *in some cases*". 4:00 Which simply implied she experienced and expected the SE to have worse battery than 6S *most of the time*. And in her explanation of why the battery could be better, she said SE has a "faster, more efficient processor" 3:50. I get that maybe she was just comparing it with the 5S, but given how she was referencing the 6S *by name right before*, this is totally disjointed and out of place. This single line is the caricature of the whole review - buildup and premises that absolutely do not connect with whatever follows. This "review" is baiting, inconsistent and have decidedly horrendous flow. Sorry for the rant I guess, I'm just angry with another 5 mins of empty calories.
I agree. Only 16 GB of storage and a puny 1.2 MP front camera for four hundred dollars is horrible. Why would they even consider such a low amount of storage, and a camera hat sounds like an old, crappy webcam? I think they want to kill any resale value, to sell more new phones in 2 years. I disagree with this practice.

I'd go for an upgrade from 6S to SE if it had 3D Touch. I've gotten used to it especially for multi-tasking that I find myself making gestures on my GF's iPhone 6. Apple please make a 4 inch phone with all the great features when the 7 comes out!
DISCLAIMER : Il be honest I am an apple fan boy and f the iPhone 7 where to come out next week I would buy it right away------ but I had the 6s and gave it to my mom and got the iPhone SE and have been having it for about a week now and I have to say I absolutely love it . It's easy going back to a smaller screen because u can pretty much reach anywhere without holding your phone awkward. It's a lot faster than the 6s because of the smaller screen and it's not as HD of a screen as the 6s meaning that it's less power on the gpu and it's less power on the battery which is also great my phone last all day and I use it a lot. To some people a smaller phone might be a disadvantage but to people like me who have an active lifestyle , having a smaller phone is just clutch, I go to the gym and I do boxing so having a smaller phone is defiantly better for my pockets. It's pretty much the same of the 6s , all my apps work and are formatted for the small screen so no worries there too
I have to say the only thing that really isn't a big deal but still kinda sucks is force touch and the strong vibration of the 6s when u get a notification, I miss having live wallpapers on my 6s and being able to show it off to people , yes there's long touch on the iPhone and Live Photos but there's no way of having a live photo as your wallpaper , other than that there's really no cons of this amazing phone , I def don't care too much about my 6s and love my iPhone SE
From a tech enthusiast stand point, the SE just seems lazy since it's just using recycled parts. However, I feel like for the mainstream who still want a smaller phone or don't care about the latest and want to save a few bucks, I think this is a good device.
d4ark Only some of the latest parts. The front camera is actually a downgrade from even the 5s (smaller aperture), and the SE uses the older Touch ID sensor found in the 5s and 6. But like I said, the SE isn't a bad device, it's just boring.
