This is why Family guy,and i dare i say even South Park,are no match for early simpsons,they make Homer do all these crazy things and get into crazy situations,but they still make you remember that he is a very loving father and husband

Most likely Marge gives in a lot to their demands. Maggie meanwhile is too young to sass anyone anyway, especially Homer. PS: Remember in "Homer Alone", Maggie escapes the house trying to look for Marge while she was away, and clearly didn't enjoy being just with Homer.
Is it good, heart warming scene? Absolutely But i still think the one where he tucks Maggie in and says how the sooner kids talk the sooner they talk back and he wishes she wpuld never say a word Which maggie says daddy (probably only time she talks) and she keeps quiet for her dad's sake just as much her dad doesn't pressure her to quickly learn to talk like everyone else did in that episode
