The fact our players started to tackle back and win second ball in the second half is what won the game for MUFC.
This is what we used to do and forgot to do over the last 18 months. We won the ball back high up the pitch and meant we were in a great position to counter-attack and relieve pressure on our back line.
Great teams have the hunger and desire to win balls back as soon as we lose them....
Well played MUFC and well played Mainoo and the rest of the team...
Two Maguire mistakes were recovered well and MUFC need to take this forward moving on...
Aston Villa will be a massive ask, but all we ask as fans is having the heart and desire to win the ball back and challenge for those second balls higher up the pitch and cover your team mates...

@@directorme6669 I have not been seeing too much of the U21s this season. Are there any promising defenders in that group. I see tons of highlights of the U18s but they only show the flashy attackers.

He gave the ball away, which nearly resulted in a goal. The poor guy can't even catch up, and it would have been Onanas fault again.

Dalot's tackle at 2-0 was unreal. Maguire had about 5 yards on him and couldn't get there, but he did. But lets ease of the "all the kids are lethal" cause only a few weeks back fans were complaining about them. Let Mainoo, Garnacho and Hojlund develop and keep the pressure off them.

A proper performance. Our engine room ticked when we have 2 good base midfielders Mainoo & Casemiro playing together. Upfront, I think Hojlund can improve on protecting the ball when he’s in middle of park, and for Garnacho to hold the line more, a few balls to him from midfield keep going out of touchline.
Score 2 goals get MOTM. Garnacho made the difference。
I think Casemiro was very good too, does things that aren’t obvious but he cleared so many things. Makes things calm and organised when the system is right, early season he was isolated because of bad tactics which wasn’t his fault.
Rasmus is born just one day before C.Ronaldo is on 5th... same zodiac start sight... who knows maybe written in the stars our new hero :)

Been following this channel since the start. Excellent as always. As for the game, really not sure on onana. If he has a dodgy game that make our defenders nervous & that is where mistakes are made.
United now need good back up for the full backs so that there is more rotation, back up striker and a decent right winger

Seeing the youngsters in such form is fantastic.If you look at what the U18's are doing the future really looks bright.Overall it was a confident performance,but Maguire still can't be trusted,better teams will take advantage of such mistakes.
I thought Maguire was playing as good as I’ve seen him until that error in the second half. He looked really aggressive and pro active in his defending. It’s the Martinez effect that give this team extra aggression and commitment and I pray he’s not out for long 🙏

That was a game where you get a chance you take it and Man Utd won 3-0 but West Ham did play well but in truth but after 6 months I had a slight smile after a Man Utd won but then again let's just hope we carry on with good momentum and get maybe 5th or 6th at best but yeah can't get carried away one game a week and maybe just FA Cup run could be a pride thing in a season where it's been so poor.

Don't often disagree but the tempo was too slow and we gave them far too much room and possession and if we had conceded when McGuire managed to mis kick then this game could have been so different. The young players did the job but we need to start the game with more tempo and a cutting edge.

The Hojlund goal should have been enough signal to go for jugular.
Ferrgue used to do this a lot, as soon as he sensed opponent was a bit down, 2 or 3 more quick fire goals so that by time they wake up, Fergie bunch already have 3 goal cushion.
