Tonight was a rare night at Old Trafford. confidence was back a little bit, my one concern is Onana whose shot stopping is good, but his short distribution and catching balls in the six yard area is frighteningly weak, an accident waiting to happen.
Nice to see United win, now on to Brighton, win there and take that confidence to Wembley.
Need to correct you! If Newcastle lost, and we won! We will finish 7th!

Didn't look that great a performance to me, United just about got away with it .... the Newcastle goalie wants a rollicking too, he should have saved Hojlands goal.
We've all criticised his game management, but tonight was quality from ten Hag in resting Højlund and bringing him on sharp, into a stretchef game. He got a great goal and his confidence will now be high.

There was a cohesion tonight we have’nt seen in a long timeeeeeeeeeee.

Highlights, if ETH had rotated Mctominay as a CF with Hojlund, Amrabat was unfairly benched after his Left fullback nightmare, he Amrabat was cool despite a few errors, but man that tackle just upped his value if he leaves. Our defence did alright but those cutbacks, crosses need more work on closing down.
M.O.M Ahmad played really well, lifted his hand up to principal ETH that he can do it as his locker is packed with tricks beneficial for the club, Bruno was the conductor of the choir did tremendously well, kudos to Hojlund back with a bang, Rashie after the fan incident did well running and that’s what we need.

I think the youngsters see the future and are trying to fill the spaces that are coming with all the players going from the club this summer. Notice Rashford realizing how well we were playing without him the young lads were playing so well they couldn't be replaced

I've been screaming for Amad. The youngsters were all great tonight. Compare that to Anthony's performances. He is so difficult to read like Messi his balance incredible how often he went through 2/3 players around him
Wheatley and some of the other younger players coming through now for next season. Gomes might come back .
If this is what the futur looks like it is so exciting. We've seen phases in our play with the youngsters and with Bruno leading the way that are breathtaking. Far more entertaining than the methodical tippy tappy routine that Peps robots serve up week in week out.

I think someone finally told Erik ten hag to stop being stubborn and change things and play different players we could of used amrabat loads of times he needs to trust others more you can’t have favourites it has to be done on form and amad has done more than Antony has in a whole season in 1 game of football and assist and goal

Ten Hags stubbornness will be his downfall, that was a good win but if gives me so many questions, Why wasn’t Amrabat played more in this role? Why wasn’t Amad played more in this role, especially when others got played way to many games whilst in very poor form, a lot of poor decisions from Ten Hag has cost us a lot this season, yes we had injuries, yes players have been poor but we had options, Bruno was fantastic tonight, he could stay up the pitch because we had Amrabat doing the job we expect from Casemiro, Bruno is our best player in the team, it’s ridiculous that some of the fans want him gone, crazy crazy crazy! I hope Amad has claimed his place and Ten Hag owes him a lot, hes without doubt made a big impact on wether Ten Hag got sacked or not, the winner against Liverpool and not get a start in the game against Coventry was a massive let down, Amad ensured Ten HAg didnt over see 10 home losses a record no manager wants to be known for, for me Amad has earned his place and must play. We all watched him at Sunderland last season and he was an exciting prospect for a breakthrough season at United this year but Antony was persisted with. The problem is have with Ten Hag is hes persisted playing this way, telling us all we are wrong when we have eyes to see and we all wanted to see a double pivot and to stop over playing the wingers in poor form, the fans were right all this nonsense and pressure the team has been put under this season due to poor tactics was unacceptable and unnecessary. I do believe we can win the FA cup, i think Ten Hag can save his job if he sets the team up this way
