I have a delta 46-250 incredibly solid great midi lathe they built them with the idea of being ablebto upgrade them later . I have a 3/4 HP variable speed conversion on it and I can get a bigger swing because the headstock is set up so you can lift it..and after everything done to it. My two centers are still 100 percent perfectly aligned better than 99.9 out of the box.. I hear excellent things about jets. And would like to grab one if I can find used. The only thing is their price.. for slightly more I would buy a record power Coronet
Penn State makes a good lathe for pens. Unless you go bigger.. the 1/3 hp motor the standard one comes with isn't great. But they have a conversion kit you can toss on it for 200 bucks
JET Flip Top Benchtop Machine Table (728200) It is working well so far. I have not mounted any tools to it to use the flipping action yet. This is on Amazon for $299.
Congrats on the new lathe. I’m sure you’ll really enjoy it. I really enjoy your channel and appreciate that you share your faith. Keep at it brother!
Thank you very much, I will

What is the Jet brand table part number and do you like it better than the stand that Amazon sells for $310?
