That sound like a hub or bearing issue , the Mastercraft tires are great tires. If you don’t want road noise I’d suggest the Courser MSR AT tire ( low noise) those could be aggressive mud tires
Put highway tires on your suv. Maybe a new wheel bearing. Mastercraft runs great on my 2018 Ford xlt and expect alittle road noise from a ruff tread tire
I have mastercraft stratus A/S on my 2016 ford escape, 4000 miles on the tires and they started humming, I had a mechanic check suspension, wheel bearings, everything is good, so yes I would say mastercraft tires are a little noisy, the mechanic said they are a fairly aggressive tire with the tread design, I am not complaining, they are excellent tire's for the money, I am sold on them, I had Cooper on the escape before these mastercraft's, and I will say I like the mastercraft a lot better
Honda dealer put those cars on a used CRV they were selling and the road noise was deal-breaking for us. My wife said it sounded like the flat tire that she just recently driven on.
I also got Mastercraft M+S tires from Walmart a few months ago and the exact same very loud noise seems to be coming from all four corners from around 35 mph and up. I have had Continental M+S tires and they never made this amount of noise. I am also not getting wheel bearing vibration. It's the exact same noise and I have new struts in the rear of my subaru impreza.
Correction: The tires are Douglas all-season m+s from Walmart with about 5,000 miles on them. Still checking whether or not the noise is from worn wheel bearings.
I bought a used car and it had new Mastercraft tires on it. I got the same noise from 55-70 MPH and I thought it was a bearing and I had them replace the bearing, noise persisted. I’m convinced it’s the tires because the struts and everything are brand new
They’re probably way over inflated. When you run a lower, but not dangerously low pressure then the noise will decrease a lot. Any overinflated aggressive tire will make a lot of noise on the road.
Had that same issue with my Avalon, just got it from carvana and it has michelin premier a/s on it and I was wondering why I could hear a loud whistling. Turns out they delivered the car with the 2 left tires at 41 psi! As soon as I brought those 2 tires down to spec it was perfect so I'm thinking this guy's tires could be massively overinflated or they're just super aggressive tires.
@@tittythemudking5159 you're not supposed to hear excessive tire noise unless theyre mud or extreme terrain. People do not buy tires for the loud noise
sounds more like a wheel bearing. that or they are chopping from bad struts. of the car has over 50,000 miles probably needs struts. look for uneven wear on the tires
Can whoever commented stop being rude because he just passed recently and I am very heartbroken because was my uncle and was kind to everyone. He doesnt deserve those comments at all. He may have been a little crazy at times. But STOP please.😭😭😭😭
City boy just needs to stay with street tires and a Prius 😂

Don’t put mud terrain tires on an SUV
Well if it rides smooth then just turn the radio up. I love my Mastercraft tires on my Jeep Wrangler. Aggressive tires make noise.
Pretty sure aggressive tires are loud like that
"My name is Dave, and I am a whiny moron"
If it’s not the wheel bearing, welcome to mud tire life lmao
Ford Exploders. Wheel bearing I would imagine.
Put highway tires on your suv. Maybe a new wheel bearing. Mastercraft runs great on my 2018 Ford xlt and expect alittle road noise from a ruff tread tire
2013 Ford Explorer yup for sure that’s a wheel bearing
sounded like a wheel bearing going bad
Same noise on mine, replaced wheel bearings and it's still there. Rotated and still there, dealer confirmed it's tire noise.
Them tires sound great
Mud tires = great road noise 💪👏
@@damonwayne3307 I run mud tires on everything I can
I have MasterCraft tires and am getting a similar noise...2013 Ford Focus...not sure if it's tires or bearings yet.

Same issue with one of our tires! Mastercraft even rotates and the noise follows! It’s only on one
Prolly a wheel bearing 🤣🤣🤣

Subaru.;)
my mom's ford edge makes that noise and it isn't from the tires.
Are the mt or at tires ...courser not courier
Yep! My son has a set on a Mazda 3. Same issue! All season MC 440. Can't find anything in the reviews about them being noisy. But they are terrible.

Same here. The dealers checked all the hubs and it's still doing it. Was told it was the tires.

Sounds like a tune-up...
Mine also get extremely loud right around 30-40 mph, makes driving through town almost unbearable as most roads in my town are 35 to 40 mph
mine were to quite so i took them back to get a refund, if you cant hear the tires than whats the point in having them
@@tittythemudking5159 you're not supposed to hear excessive tire noise unless theyre mud or extreme terrain. People do not buy tires for the loud noise
Are those mud tires?
People who complain about road noise don’t deserve to drive cars lol
forreal
which model tires... mastercraft has a large number of models..
My experience: Mastercraft Courser AXT, same noise
@@us-nic6121 mxt,s are as loud as buckshots.if your that old to remember??
Dude you put aggressive tires on that its your damn fault for not being car smart.
Awwwww
yep bearing. better get it fixed before that hub locks up.
Sounds like a hub assembly dude. Stop blaming the tires and get that repaired before it lockes up and hurts you or your wife.
NOT the hub Bearings! I replaced both Hub assembly's 2 months before i bought the tires! The tires suck! Going back to Bridgestone Duelers
Just put the new Bridgestones on. Guess what?! ... No more noise!! Cooper MasterCraft are junk!!
Sounds like a wheel bearing 🤔

I have got gt and hankook on my s10 quiet ride. But same tires on another vehicle makes noise.
your tire pressure is wrong
