I remember the Camp Rifles, this is indeed a retro tribute to them, how cool! Classy lines. The website says the Glock, Sig and M&P are magwell adapter that comes with those versions you order. Very smart to do. I'll bet those adapters can be bought sepraretly from them. I really like the carbine overall, might go on the "To-Get" list. Let's hope they make a 45 ACP version! Good video Brother, and nice Hawaiian shirt!
Awesome review bro!
I wish they'd make a mag adapter for the Colt style AR 9mm mags. That would look so much more vintage and cooler than a plastic mag.
agree on the vintage aspect but absolutely understand why they don't... no market worth of the manufacturing investment
@@CloverTac Ok then, a one-off mag adapter for me lol
with the technology now days, that very well could be a REAL possibility if you know what i mean... wink wink
@@CloverTac If only I had a buddy with a machine shop.
Love the gun, like the shirt! Good video sir.
I would like to see a 400l,350L and a 450 bm version.
It looks a lot like the old Winchester self loading rifles in 35 wsl, 351 wsl and 401 wsl.
It would be a nice retro looking rifle.
henry has a pretty interesting customer base that i would wager couldnt care less about those cartridges 😂🤣 i am sorta suprised that they even did this 9mm
@@CloverTac well yes
But I don't think you will get a company to mass produce 35 wsl 351wsl or 401 wsl
The 350L and the 400l are close to the old cartridges.
And honestly I really wouldn't care witch cartridge they used.
I would just like a modern wsl type rifle.
yeah i hear ya, we woud LIKE lots of things but question you gotta ask is... is what i want going to be profitable for a company? usually, sadly, the answer to that question is no. woudl be nice if i were rich, could just all em up and pay em a million dollars to make me whatever i wanted. 😂🤣
@@CloverTac well there seems to be a lot of retro builds going on.
So I don't know if it would have a market or not.
Retro looks modern cartridges. Could easily be a good deer / hog hunting rd.
Should be available in some of the ban states as a self defense/ hunting rifle.
I honestly don't know
But let's just call it a wish for rifle lol.
Kinda like the taurus rifle I been trying to get them to make.
A judge rifle on the 8 shot 357mag.
It could be a good hunting gun.
But in ban states 8rd 357 as fast as a simauto and reloading with speed loaders quicker than loading a leaver action
Need that in 45acp
uh huh
👍👍
Great video on that Henry carbine. It seemed to perform well for you which is a good thing. Being a new subscriber, I’m trying to figure out your range there. Are you in an enclosed fence area with cover over top shooting out to a wooded area?
basically just a bay. there was once some channel member only videos while that was all being built but those are not on the channel anymore. without going to the opposite side of my property, i only have 75 yards or so without backing up into a tree line. so t here is a u shaped fence there that serves to purposes really. one, it just looks better on camera than leafy tree background, more consistent, right? and two, there is a highway about 50 yards or so from that tree line behind me, so it does help to cut the noise from there a bit as well. as for cover, just an awning shade type thing stretched over the top currently to help with 100+ degree heat, the sun and trying to keep a more steady light while filming... ie no hot spots, glare, etc. i am not really happy with that part cuz when it rains i am still screwed. eventually i am going to work up the funding and do a solid cover over the top. then i will be able to film, at least in lighter rain. thanks for asking, thanks for caring, appreciated
I love Henry, and I like the concept, but I have heard mostly bad things about these in terms of reliability. Yours seems to be more the exception than the rule. And given the price point on these, I just can't justify picking one up instead of another PCC.
one thing i SHOULD have mentioned in the video that i think i did not is how super freaking dry this thing was right out of the box. SO if someone was to lets say just pull it out of the box, turn on the camera and start shooting it (without a little lube first) then yeah, i can see issues real quick. then there are always those creators who crap on everything cuz well, tha tis how they get views. it is super hard to tell who is being straight with you and who is not. i don't ever advise making a purchase decision solely off of watching youtube videos though. best to find a someone who has what you are looking at so you can try it... friend, local gun shop, range, etc.
Henry always has some beautiful product! Looks like a smooth, accurate shooter. Badass shirt btw!
i told ya 😂🤣 the shirt i mean
wish they did more semi pistol grips
gross, no way... the retro rifle look is solid. if you wanna go that route, there are tons of options out there right? that said, there may end up being some aftermarket stuff eventually, like the stuff from Ranger Point Precision of course
wheres the link for that shirt?

Just a sincere question, I'm not looking for a fight. I've occasionally seen people use that grip where your left hand is extended way down on the rifle. I rarely shoot off handed like that but when I do I've always had my hand under the rifle with my elbow bent. What does that straight arm extended grip do for you?
two schools of thought i think... one, straight arms can be locked, therefore less floppy. now if you are talking about a bent arm during precision target shooting, it is usually anchored into your side, so that additional point of contact, unlike just a swinging bent arm, allows for support. two, a straight arms lends itself to easier transition from one target to the next. it is subjective, it is preference and all really depends. heck, depending on the length of your arms and the rifle at hand, you may not even be able to extend fully without running out of handguard, right?
Does it take Glock mags?
watch the video 🤣😂
@@CloverTac lol. I did, but nobody is immune to the dumbest question in the world.
ah, sarcasm? gotcha, yeah, seems you can review a shotgun now days and still get the glock mag question 🤣😂
@@CloverTac it’s the OG dad joke of the gun-tube community.
I have a camp rifle it is similar to
