Ugh it drove me crazy how often he ditched her. And what good ever came of it? she always ended up kidnapped/beat up when he ditched her! Whenever they decided to work separately something bad always happened to the other too. Didn't they ever learn anything from that?! LOL

to be fair it wouldnt make sense in a cinematography pov for mulder to explain to scully what hes gonna do since we're scully in the situation and its boring to have everything explained to us instead of shown. but...they could have switched it up a little bit and put scully in the position of leaving him idle once in a while
