Hi AJ, could you do a video on tipping for people visiting not from the USA? I've heard about tipping mouse keeping and for table service restaurants but it would be great to know what's 'usual' for tips in the parks, restaurants and hotels, also would you tip in a restaurant if you were using Disney dining credits for the meal? Just little things like that!
Kate Hazzard-Smith Disney gives you a suggested tip on your bill at all table service restaurants. I think they'd do this even if you're paying on the plan. I believe it's 18% of your bill which is a lot but it's the culture over there. We mostly stuck to that but i think 15-20% would always be acceptable
Kate Hazzard-Smith so true, I’ve never been to the USA and planning my first trip is baffling me! I understand tipping at sit down restaurants but mouse keeping was something I never considered. Also, do you have to tip the concierge, or the staff helping with your bags at the hotel, the taxi drivers...??
c0ronariu5 i completely forgot about mousekeeping if i’m honest and we never did that... Next time we will!! Tbh i’m sure other people forget/don’t know... We used uber where you don’t have to tip or you can tip on the app afterwards. If you let someone help with your bags you will be expected to tip but as far as i know there’s not a set amount and just use your own judgement, they’ll be grateful for whatever. I can’t remember us tipping anyone else, it’s only really a big deal in restaurants!!
The Crystal Palace is hands down one of my favorite restaurants at Disney and I don't see how it could not be liked! There is something for everyone to eat the food is always delicious and it is in the perfect location!
We love it. I was thinking why use a meal credit at the plaza when you can go to Crystal Palace? I do love seeing the characters even if it's a little hectic.
I love Tony's Town Square! We make a point to go every year. Though, full disclosure, my sister and I always split the spaghetti :). Great atmosphere, great service every time, and good food! But we're not a picky family. If you or your family like Lady and the Tramp, I HIGHLY recommend! It's so fun. :)
I love it too! Such a fun place, good food, and phenomenal service! The service is honestly what keeps bringing me back, everytime I've eaten there it's been such a fun experience!
I love Casey's Corner. Last time I got the foot long with mac and cheese and bacon. Its not part of the dining plan but if u got an awesome cast member like I did they will include it without even asking them too. Its so good but huge
Hi AJ, May I make a request? Can you do a video on the best places to get coffee? I don't know where the quiet places are with no lines when I need a caffeine fix?
lindsey andelman Joffrey’s! They’re all over the parks, even at the transportation center. They will be busy in the mornings (not nearly as busy as Starbucks) but there are so many of them in the parks that it isn’t hard to find a shorter line. Their coffee is great and the giant donuts are to die for.
My wife and I are coming back to Disney world (from australia) for the second time at the end of this year! We cannot wait and have been watching all of your videos. You guys do an amazing job as compared to many of the other Disney bloggers you guys dont just show yourselves talking, you actually show what you’re talking about! Its gotten us so excited and really cant wait to get there! so many tips and tricks from you guys and it will really help make our trip special. Our first one was when I proposed to her and this time will be our firs trip with our child (not born yet but will be 5 months by the time we go). Keep up the amazing vids guys!
Good tip if u dont use all your snacks on the dining plan go to the confectionery. It can be hard to use all snacks as it was for me last year. I got five bags of goofy's candy.
I highly recommend Crystal Palace. The lunch is a buffet and it has stuff for everyone. It’s nice and air conditioned, and honestly I’ve never thought it too loud and I’ve been there multiple times. I’ve never noticed any noise that’s louder than any other place
I don't mind being the only person who hates The Plaza because I'm never paying that much for a giant burger I'd never even be able to enjoy thoroughly. I've given The Plaza a few tries in the past and I'm done trying to love it. It's not a match. At least when I say I enjoy Tony's, I know my flaws.
25 people thumbs downed this video!!!! Her voice is nice very informative and beautiful pictures!! Thanks for yr help!! Your are helping our plans for the day we go!!
Same for me! Plus both times it has been absolutely phenomenal service for me! An absolute stand out, they were so friendly and welcoming and went above and beyond I felt. I love eating there.
I’m surprised to see a video showcase the Plaza Restaurant without mentioning their legendary tomato soup - it’s one of the best tomato soups in the country.
The Confectionary has the huge rice krispie mickey head, shown wrapped in plain plastic wrap, is one of our favorite treats. It’s been a few years since we had one, but it is made on property fresh daily, according to the ladies that worked there. I know it seems simple, but for some reason it is way better than any other one we have had or made. Watch for the small prepackaged ones made in other states, those were absolutely terrible. For our Disney Wedding I asked for the fresh made ones from the Confectionary, and the wedding dept. gave us the ones from Las Vegas. No one ate them. I was so upset the confectionary manager felt bad(was not their fault) they gave me a free big one. That was very kind of them. We always get one at beginning of our trip and snack on it for a few days and get one on our last day to take home.
At the Ice Cream Parlor if u get the all american u dont have to get chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I also got caramel sauce instead of peanut butter. If u want to avoid lines go after the park closes.
Aw we love Tony's Town Square. Been there two or three times now. Go with your spouse and one of you order the spaghetti. If your server is any good he/she will make you re-enact the noodle kiss scene from Lady and the Tramp and take your picture for you. Also loved Crystal Palace with our kiddo. Bright environment, solid food, and our favorite character meal so far in all our visits.
Haven't eaten at many of the Magic Kingdom dining venues in quite some time (except for Be Our Guest). Does Casey's still have the awesome brownies they served years ago (I think you mentioned them, but are they the same?). Also wondering if Crystal Palace still has peel and eat shrimp in their buffet - we thought it was a very good dining experience at the time (maybe 12 years ago - good character meal for small children!). And my daughter has still not forgiven Tony's Town Square for getting rid of the Chicken Florentine - was her favorite meal in the MK - agreed the food is so-so, but there are a few good items and servers seem very nice!
These food tours (and the Epcot ones) have been amazing for helping me plan my Disney Vaca! Hope that more food tours will appear for AK and HS! Also would love to see your opinion on the Universal offerings to! :D
Tony's has gluten-free spaghetti & meatballs! So, it's okay with me. Once, at Plaza Ice Cream, my patience was strained by guests who, even after waiting on line for ten or more minutes, get to the cashier, and only then take their first look at the menu, & say uuummm, as well as guests who wanted all sorts of special things done to their sundaes, or, who wanted things that were clearly not on the menu. So, I get up to the cashier, give my order without any nonsense, and the CM said to me, "Thanks for making my job easier!" I guess mine was not the only patience being strained!
Tony's Town Square used to be one of our favorites. But, recently, I have noticed that their menu has differed from when we originally went there in 2013. We love the theme and the staff is generally good, but, the last time we went, our waiter was less than attentive and not very engaging. We don't expect to be entertained, but, we do expect that someone will come by and ask us if we want more ice tea or water. The menu seemed to me limited as well. Not a lot of the traditional food items you would expect. For instance, flat bread pizza. I can get a pizza anywhere. If I want to sit down and enjoy a meal, I would like more of an entree. There are things like spaghetti and meatballs, but, not everyone wants that. I guess what I am saying is, look at the menu either online before you go, or when you get there view the actual menu and see if it is right for you. We did do the Festival of Fantasy parade package once, but, the only thing is that you can only do a lunch time menu option for this package. I was mildly disappointed by the menu choices, but, the parade view is FANTASTIC! You get a ticket to sit right under the flagpoles in the center hub. We got great pictures from the parade and the characters were very interactive with everyone. So definitely recommend this for anyone wanting to see the parade up close and personal.
Miss Jenny not sure if they offer mobile orders but I went last weekend when it was super busy and spent less than 5 mins in line, the baristas are very efficient 😁
Are these refillable popcorns length of stay, daily, or a promotional period? Is available to everyone? Here at DL its usually only limited to a certain time and only to AP holders
I am in no way, shape, or form making fun of you, but where are you from where they call it plastic cheese? I’ve honestly never heard it called this! I’ve always just known it as nacho cheese, so I really want to to know where they call it plastic cheese? That’s so interesting to me!
Michelle Litton it's processed cheese made from cheese with a bunch of stuff added like oils, food coloring, emulsifiers, whey, sugar etc. In many countries you can't legally call it, cheese slices and the like cheese, because it's not really cheese. That's why you might see it labeled as processed cheese or cheese product or cheese spread. So some people joke around and call it plastic cheese.
Liquid cheese ingredients vary from product to product, but most start off with cheese whey, various spices, oils, and coloring. All real food, just not 100% cheese...
Hey, I’m vegetarian and I’ve recently come back from an amazing trip (with my boyfriend who eats meat)! There are tonnes of options in the parks, Disney springs and hotels. Often, places won’t have veggie on the menu but if you ask they have loads they can do. For example in Magic Kingdom, Be Our Guest (French) has veggie salads but I didn’t fancy them so they made me the croque Monsieur just without the ham. Another place I happened to go in Magic Kingdom was pecos bill (Mexican) where they don’t advertise veggie but when I asked they said I could get anything from the menu (tacos, fajitas etc) and substitute the meat with veggies/beans :)
If you are hitting all the parks I must say that animal kingdom and Epcot had even MORE tasty veggie options! That tofu bowl at Satuli canteen is a great deal and I highly recommend it!

I may be 60 years old but definitely up for asking for Mickey Ears on my ice cream 😝
It's like I always say, everyone's 5 at Disney world. No grownups, just kids of different heights. Lol.
Love the Plaza Restaurant. Such a little gem! 👍
The Rich Life Hi friend🤣😉
Camren Bicondova girl, you know you’d find me here!!!!
The Rich Life Hahaha!
Casey’s Corner should have boxes of Cracker Jacks. 😛
Ohhh that Alphonse Muscha poster has me. I am sold!
180 days until hubby and I get there! Loving these video blogs, makes the anticipation even greater!
I love Tony's Town Square! We make a point to go every year. Though, full disclosure, my sister and I always split the spaghetti :). Great atmosphere, great service every time, and good food! Have never eaten at the plaza restaurant, but that bottomless milkshake has convinced me to give it a try. Will be there in June.
Going to Disney World for the first time today :)
Alejandra Reyes Have fun!
Alejandra Reyes fun!!!
Oh wow - have the most magical time ever!
Have the best time!
I love Casey's Corner. Last time I got the foot long with mac and cheese and bacon. Its not part of the dining plan but if u got an awesome cast member like I did they will include it without even asking them too. Its so good but huge
Bottomless milkshakes would be very, very dangerous to me. They'd have to roll me out of there like a beach ball.
xingcat They were super dangerous. I had them, they were delicious beyond belief but holy crap were they filling. Totally worth it though
Haha right! I'd gain 10 lbs in a day!
I gained 10 lbs just watching this video!!
A danger for me too🤗😋
We here you! Probably wouldn't ever leave Main Street!
Hi AJ,
May I make a request? Can you do a video on the best places to get coffee? I don't know where the quiet places are with no lines when I need a caffeine fix?
lindsey andelman Joffrey’s! They’re all over the parks, even at the transportation center. They will be busy in the mornings (not nearly as busy as Starbucks) but there are so many of them in the parks that it isn’t hard to find a shorter line. Their coffee is great and the giant donuts are to die for.
lindsey andelman She does have a video of the best places to get coffee in Disney. Do a search and it should come up.
Love Crystal Palace and the Fire Roasted Corn Spoon Bread! THE BEST!!!
So excited to go to Disney World in august. Been to Disney land Paris before but Florida looks so much better. Casey's looks amazing
My wife and I are coming back to Disney world (from australia) for the second time at the end of this year! We cannot wait and have been watching all of your videos. I love the Plaza! It's one of my favorites in all of Walt Disney World!!!
I've never even seen some of these spots! I need to explore more now that we live out here!
Good tip if u dont use all your snacks on the dining plan go to the confectionery. It can be hard to use all snacks as it was for me last year. I got five bags of goofy's candy.
Haha!! I’m in the video! I just happened to catch myself. 😂
I highly recommend Crystal Palace. The lunch is a buffet and it has stuff for everyone. It’s nice and air conditioned, and honestly I’ve never thought it too loud and I’ve been there multiple times. I’ve never noticed any noise that’s louder than any other place
Great video, thank you AJ! We will be there in two weeks, can’t wait! 👍🏼❤️
I adore the Lady and the Tramp restaurant. It was nice to sit on the porch and they themed the desserts based on the season. I was impressed. :P
that mac and cheese hot dog at 5:48 is amazing.
Love the video! Such good recommendations! 😬 Thanks
Thank you so much because I will be going on my second trip in two months!!
These are great. I could work here happily
I thought my family were the only ones who refer to that style of cheese as “plastic cheese”!! Lol. We love it too.
Great job, as always, AJ, thanx! Yes - I do remember the Figareo fires. I only had them once, but I STILL remember them - messy - but YUMMMMMMM!!!! :)
Do they still have the white rocking chairs on the front porch by Tony's.? That[ used to be one of my fave "hidden gem" places to watch the parade. :)
25 people thumbs downed this video!!!! Her voice is nice very informative and beautiful pictures!! Thanks for yr help!! Your are helping our plans for the day we go!!
I don't understand why everyone is compelled to complain about the food at Tonys Town Square. Every time i have eaten there it has been good.
Sam Moore I agree, I love Tony's!
Sam Moore i
I agree as well, we Love it!
This is a wonderful video, but a few prices listed with the items would be great Thank you💕
These food shots are amazing.
I love these videos, they’re so helpful for my future trips❤️

I love Crystal Palace last 2 times at WDW went for breakfast first time and dinner second time. Both good but breakfast is better.
Great video! When I go back I wanna try more places on this street 🙋♀️🏰

Can you do mobile ordering through your Starbucks app at Main Street bakery?
No. Only at the one at Disney springs
Tony's mediocre?! Whaaaa. Love their spaghetti after a night time parade.....now we just need a night time parade again!
Tony's Town Square used to be one of our favorites. But, recently, I have noticed that their menu has differed from when we originally went there in 2013. Would you be able to do a video rating the top 5 bakeries?
AJ is there can any sugar free treats (for us diabetics) in the parks ? .
It’s called “The Mickey Kitchen Sink”
Do you get to keep the little sink or does it get handed back? Thanks
Alison Melrose you keep it! :)
Ah that’s brilliant thanks! Going later this year so will definitely be ordering a couple as those a just too cute!
Alison Melrose yes definitely! So cute for storage !!
That one person who gave this video a thumbs down, I bet Tony’s Restaurant is their favorite in the whole park and you gave it a bad review. Lmao!
Love foods by lands
Early! Great video
Question.... did the Starbucks in Magic Kingdom do mobile orders so we can skip the long lines?🤭😊🌹
Miss Jenny not sure if they offer mobile orders but I went last weekend when it was super busy and spent less than 5 mins in line, the baristas are very efficient 😁
Great video, really enjoying the food tours. Now stop publicizing the plaza, it's a hidden gem! Shhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Can you use the order ahead feature at the Disney Starbucks?
Are these refillable popcorns length of stay, daily, or a promotional period? Is available to everyone? Here at DL its usually only limited to a certain time and only to AP holders
"plastic cheese" yumm
Will you be doing an updated video?
are the bottomless milkshakes where you pay for one and get to keep filling it as you eat?
I bet a LOT of people go in and ask for "plastic cheese"!
Can you use Disney gift cards for the restaurants?
Donovan W yes, you can use the gift cards at any place in the parks!
Yes - Gift cards are the only currency we take to the parks!
Can you order ahead with mobile order at Disney Starbucks ?
Strange question but does anyone know if the Starbucks locations in the parks offer the blonde roast espresso?
SeaToSkyDreaming can't say for sure but I don't see why they wouldn't
Do you get to keep the Mickey pants from the Mickey pants sundae?
Bobby Linn Yes, something to take away with you.
Hey! I’m ( kind of) early!
Can I bring a popcorn bucket I got from DLR in 2016?
I really want the plaza fries when I go but I don't want to eat at the resturaunt. Can I get a order to go?
I am in no way, shape, or form making fun of you, but where are you from where they call it plastic cheese? I’ve honestly never heard it called this! I’ve always just known it as nacho cheese, so I really want to to know where they call it plastic cheese? That’s so interesting to me!

Tony's has gluten free pasta and pizza, so that is good for those that need G/F selections!
I’m not even going to Disney but I’m still watching all the videos...why
We are going August and our family of four has one vegetarian who cannot have soy. Any places good to try for her and the rest of us meat eaters?
Hey, I’m vegetarian and I’ve recently come back from an amazing trip (with my boyfriend who eats meat)! There are tonnes of options in the parks, Disney springs and hotels. StartWithAMouse thank you!
Gonnaebe teninarow that is not helpful.
No problem, have a magical time! :)
If you are hitting all the parks I must say that animal kingdom and Epcot had even MORE tasty veggie options! That tofu bowl at Satuli canteen is a great deal and I highly recommend it!
Can I ask how Casey At The Bat is related to Disney?
Janine Leffler Disney did a short on Casey at the bat :)
@@lizzymcaffrey Ah, okay. I have never seen that short.
@@Showtunediva I think they included the short on Disney Plus but I don't remember which episode it's included in
I call that yummy cheese 'pretend cheese'.
I just noticed there's no background music this video lol
Tony's was so disappointing. Such a great location with good theming. It's not that hard to make good Italian food if you use good ingredients.
Hi, there is no prices?
Thanks
We got food poisoning from the Plaza 😖
Tony's sucks......never had a good meal here.
