Started doing this Sept. 2021. At the time I was 52 and weighed 235@5 foot 10. Within 6 months I was under 200 and today I'm 165. My waist is now 31 and my energy levels are through the roof. This is the only exercise I get. 5 minutes a day, I don't rest anymore between planks and do push ups in between. I'm going to live to be 100.
I've noticed that this does give me all day energy AND I've lost 2 inches in my waist and a 1/2 in my arms since I started this exercise. Today is day 10 for me. I had 3 days of break since I started, one was due to a migraine. I will definitely keep this up. Oh, I must include that I did change my eating habits since starting this exercise.

What’s the plan then?
I did this, after a month, upgraded to doing it without lying down between exercises, kept increasing time for 6 months. I can now do standalone elbow plank for 4 minutes 20 seconds. I went from 75 kgs to 64 kgs. I don't have much muscle but I've gotten a lot stronger

If you are shaking and it’s painful then you are doing it correctly
Keep it up for a couple of weeks. After the first week the shaking either stops or isn’t as prevalent

"cause you had a weak core" .. GIRL!! thats a bunch a noise. I got a bad back too alexa. good job on ditching the pills. I got 14 broken vertebra spanning 3 sections, severe inflammation up and down for EIGHT years now. I also got migrating compression neuropathy always pairing with two verts, and their neighboring branches. indicating shifting discs, but MRIs are $$$. did 2 rounds from this vid..... and for once the neuropathy is gone.
its not about a weak core, its about moving tissue, to move the liquids involved, and get everything free flowing, once it is free, shtuff can realign like it couldn't ( to help reach THIS COMBO IS exactly WHY they give pain killers.... NOT FOR WEAK CORES nathaniel. have you seen the lawsuits against those companies recently?)
then, after all that is said and done....then comes strength, which really has no effect on fluids, but can... and i will agree, reinforce, proper alignments, if no other structure is damaged nearby., and yea planks kinda full body, centering around the spine

You need to be more disciplined in the morning, I have a strict routine that I have stuck to for years, wake up, flick the kettle switch, do a longggggggg morning horse wee, make my coffee, then I sit and drink it.

I remember when I first started these, I could hood for maybe like 10 seconds at the max ( extremely unfit due to a zipline fall the rendered any thing that had to due with back or thighs painful or hard work ) and now even though I can barely do it I held every single pose the full time given. It feels awesome! 💕

I did it for 4 weeks , 6 days a week . My arms slimmed down and look more toned . I got stronger and it helped me with the lower back pain. I will continue doing this for the next month and I will update my progress.

This is freaking miracle, i tried this everyday in five months everymorning, and it gave me more curvy body and it made my waist thin, surely everyone says this but this one!! Is a miracle! yep. I've done this exercise. for 17 days i am doing this and eventually i've seen changes in my body, my waist became slimmer and I lost 3 kgs. I am gonna continue this for lifetime.

I have to admit. If you stuck with it. These bright side workouts are buried treasures. I did his 15 asana to change your body three months. I still do it a couple times each week. Just get up everyday and do it. You will be amazed.

Just started doing it. I thought 30 seconds is too short, but at the very first minute makes me sweat a lot!!! I can really feel the pain in my abdomen.
I've done planking before, but never a workout that is all planking! I worked up a sweat in 5 minutes, felt like I had just jogged a couple of miles! Good workout!

Honestly Thankyou so much for this video, I have used it sense I was 13, it’s the only thing that helped me begin working out, only thing that brings me motivation to do it daily, the only video that works on yr muscles And gets u ready for yr next step in working out daily, it’s an easy to follow routine, explains exactly what needs to be done, u guys even remind us of posture throughout the workout wich I think is awesome, and u help me stay positive when I am litterly dying!!! I quit working out about 3 years ago and I want to get back in but I just can’t seem to get in to it anymore, like I don’t get in my zone, I feel lost again. But this video, especially because it’s planking and for me it’s easy to get in yr zone because u have to focus and push yrself threw that timer and doing it daily really teaches u a lot, and this video is what helped me 3 years ago to f start working out and now it’s giving me the strength and mind power to do it again, so turkey thankyou

I would like to share my experience with this exercise. First of all, thank you Bright Side for sharing this very helpful video.
I started doing this exercise last May 14 and I continue doing this until today. My weight used to be 129lbs. And now I'm 4 pounds lighter - 125lbs after doing this full exercise. My waist used to be 30 inches. I'm now 28.5 inches in just a week. I started doing No Rice Diet since Day 4 only. Other than that, I eat what I want even sweets but moderately. I'll be back for my progress if I succeed doing this for 30days.
This is the easiest exercise to lose weight I must say esp. to lazy ones like me. I dont really do exercise everyday but this one makes me really motivated. I can actually see evidence on my waist since it developed curves deeper than my usual and my tummy is not so big anymore. I feel confident again in just a week.
Update:
Today is my 18th day with this routine.
I had 2 days rest since yesterday and the other day.
Waist: 30 inches --> 28 inches
Weight: 129lbs --> 121lbs

The first time I worked out to this video last year, when I got to the last exercise and saw it was elbow plank, I said “Again😭”. It made me laugh when the voice-over person said “Yes, again”, wasn’t expecting that.

@@mix3507, my dad suggested me to plank daily. However, in some days that I have to leave home in the morning, I can't plank.
In the previous year, as I attempted to plank at one month, it worked well and I have lesser fats than before.
I have followed this , I have reduced my weight from 74.5 kg to 62 .

I did this twice less than a week ago, didn't do it, and did it again tonight. What I can say is this time was wAY easier than the first time. It's still hard, but not as bad. Keep going if you do this. Even if it's just to prove to yourself that you can.
~edit: I'm back three years later and didn't make it past the third set (raised leg) my first go around.

If you're a beginner just do the first two for a few days, then add on two more, do those four for a few days, add on a few more and do those a few more days and so on. It's not good to do all of these at once if you've never done it before

I started 2 weeks ago and i can see already the difference. Its Firmer and i lost an inch from my waist,Thank you. I believe that dont give up keep trying. You will see a difference
