This week we head back to water to save some history! You never know what will wash up after a flood and we make several century old finds along with some nostalgia that ended up in this river bottom. River treasure hunting has never been so fun!

This was a great river trip with lots of fun finds and lots of great bottles. I am amazed how much was thrown into the river. Trash of all kinds. Some very nice treasures. Wonderful video Brandon and Miranda. Have a fantastic weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

It's amazing how people would just throw their trash in the creek,for centuries. Cool hobby!👍🤠👍 We used to find old homesteads and find the outhouse spots and get sum really cool bottles. Wish I still had all those small perfume and medicine bottles and snuff jars😢

Your chandelier is the style of a nice vintage 70s one. Repop or original can't tell.
I agree cool chandelier though it might be 60’s or 70’s: would be nice to repurpose some how. Even saving a bit of the scroll worked leaves would be cool .

job cleaning off the organic growth on the bottles. you can see the original colors.

Some little kids are missing their dinosaurs. If my 5 year old grandson had found that creek full of dinosaurs, he would have been in super high cotton! He has said more than once that a person can never have too many dinosaurs! The marbles were a real plus. The bird cage and hanging lamp were really odd finds. It was a fun video to watch. I'm glad you found a few bottles that were worth saving, too.❤

Yeah so as a kid in Northern Virginia in the woods behind the houses we would find piles and piles of old bottle dumps. Remember seeing a ton of these diamond bottle patterns back there. I could go right back to the spots. I bet they are still just all sitting there.

I assume it’s to not have to pay fees to the other selling platforms? Long auction style livestreams are a great way to kill your channel. CZcams watches a metric called AVD which stands for average view duration. On longer auctions the AVD lowers extensively and CZcams notes this as less viewer enjoyment causing your channel to not be recommended. If you’ll notice most of the channels doing this do not same views per video and this has a lot to do with it.

Have you ever thought of making the heels into tea light holders or even natural bee's wax candles. I think they might sell well in your store.
The heat from the flame could be an issue with fracturing on older glass.

Those dinosaurs especially the ones with the JP on the side are jurassic park toys vintage from the 90,s they can be worth good money

I am guessing the cars and dinosaurs came from the same dump, and a chandelier, bird cage and sloth, those are some weird finds in a creek. Good whiskey glasses though.
i am looking forward to getting one of your bottle tumblers when you are finished designing them, and i have a question for you. a lot of the bottles i collect are the old towles log cabin syrup bottles that are octagon shaped, and i was wondering how well this style of bottle will do in a tumbler. is that shape riskey to try in a tumble, or does shape not matter? it might be a good upcoming video for you to make to fill us in. thanks for your videos!

How do you dispose of the acid? What other things are safer than acid for cleaning bottles?

Any chance some of that stuff was dumped by a tornado? I went out after the April 27, 2011 tornadoes and retrieved a ton of things from peoples homes over 100 miles away. Lots of family photographs and important documents. And for the pitted bottles, can you just run a torch over the spots to soften them a bit and see how it looks afterwards?
Good video. I think the heel chips etc., just make the whiskey glass more interesting, but I understand the economics. Maybe direct sales from your website would help increase the margin.
Direct sales in Theory are great but EBay offers seller protection and I feel like the 15% is worth it.
