Any info on the outboard starving for fuel? I have same issue with my Suzuki 20. Thanks from Fort Myers Beach
That is so cool you went fishing with your mom's bro!!! It is even cooler that she catching fish!!!
had that same issue and I found that the fuel line was going bad from the inside.. replace all line on the engine side of the fuel system.. the line to the carburetors had little black chunks of hose plugging the carb intake line
Hmm ok 👌🏻 very interesting that could be it but like a bunch others are saying it could be a number of other things haha. The frustration 🙈
@@FishAholicTV not sure what other work you have done to try to fix it but a fuel pump going bad will also cause you to keep having pump the bulb..
If you’re still in town try Breach Inlet ! The docks inshore are loaded with sheepies right now and the bridge and inlet itself hold all kinds of fish ! Gonna try surf fishing there on Friday 🤙🏼
Thanks for the tip Nick!! I definitely would love to get on a surf bite at some point so I’ll probably start snooping around more now as the water temps are getting warmer.
Thanks for the tip, I love inshore fishing since living near Jax Fla years ago. I'm 4 hours away up I-26 and have been looking for a salt water fishing spot not crowded out by the tourists. Yet.
I lived there for years and my go to for sheepshead was always the old coal trussle across the harbor from where you caught the big red. It gets pressured but you can get back into the pylons where no one else can cast to and lay waste back there. We had several 8 to 10lb class sheep's back there.
Wow those are some big sheep’s! I was out again yesterday and got into some larger ones but not even close to that size. But I think there’s definitely some bigger ones pushing in now. Thanks for the tips! I’ll try it 🤙🏻. Tight Lines!!
@@FishAholicTV they're there year round
Rich you certainly have a lot going on these days, but it was a great day in the end. Giant Red was beautiful, and your pure joy is why we all love watching you fish. The sweeper jigging was not exactly the providence river action from back in the day, but kayak fishing under bridges never gets old. Good luck with your boat slash fuel issue and I hope the fam is all doing well soon. stay safe
Thanks for showing how to fish around Charleston. I live four hours up I-26 from there and planning a budget salt water adventure. A little more experience with my ATAK 12 and I'll be ready. Love estuary fishing!
That monster redfish!!! 🔥
I was like Nooooo!!! when you put the red back.
May have been 3 years ago, but that 1st fish (Bull Red) was awesome.
I like your video formats! Intro has informative info or super scenic drone shots and then straight to action! Keep posting. Oh and I caught my first sheepshead yesterday!
Holy hell dude what a rushhhhhh huh damn I love that!!!!!
Haha thanks to you Rich I find myself using the word JUICY alot lol. Oooo that's a juicy cast. Or ooo this spot looks juicy🤣🤣
Anytime on the water is always a good time great video Rich Tight Lines.
Yo waterland sunglasses needs to get him on board! They've got bama and brant!
I love fishing Charleston its great place! Nice sheeps!!🐑🤙🏼
Thanks Jack yeah it’s a sweet place!!
@@FishAholicTV yessir!
Keep it bro,I love watching these videos, especially on the times I can’t be out casting a line👊🏼🦈🐟🦐
Also man what a nice ass Redfish man!!! Always have wanted to catch one!!!
Love that sound. You guys on the yak’s give you credit risking it all to get the catch!
Always love to hear the FISH ON haha. Cant wait to see the boat back in good shape and u slaying fish innit. Keep up the good work 👍
If that Suzuki is like my mercury there are two fuel pumps. The primary electric fuel pump and secondary mechanical fuel pump. I had the same exact thing happen to me as your describing and my primary fuel pump was perfect it was just the secondary mechanical fuel pump that basically broke into pieces(on the inside). You should check that out if you haven’t. It was a cheap and easy fix.
14:10 seconds in , while landing the little trout, there was a flash of a large fish right at the kayak .
Remanufacture your fuel injectors...need to do that as standard maintenance. Don’t just use a fuel additive...that is a bandaid to the issue. Good luck and hope that helps get you back fishing!! Love your channel, Rich! Awesome Red!!!
Thanks for the tips Roy! I’ll have to try and get the mechanic to talk about what he did on camera so you all can hear. Tight Lines! Next video is up Sunday morning 😎
new clothing line "The Juicy Collection"
Love your videos, Brother! Found your channel a little over a week ago and I cannot stop watching. Thank you for all the time and effort you make to bring us this content! Can't wait for the next one. FISHHHHHHHHHHH ON!!!!!!!!
The grind payed off the docks definitely had some good fish
A lots of fish!!
That red... that’s one of the biggest ive seen. I usually use that rig for mackerel too, now I know it can snag reds. Thanks man
Hey man love the video. just a quick little comment I have a 18 inshore/flats boat and I just had that same trolling motor installed and for the wiring on the in side I put in a 3 12v system. And with the 80lb thrust it works amazing, the extra weight really helps to the bow down to really get the full range of the trolling motor. Just a little opinion form one side. Keep up the great work
It was a great video, thanks for sharing it with us!!!🎣😎🐟
I follow you for your fishing and now you are helping me with my boat... I am currently struggling with the EXACT same problem with my outboard and trying to diagnose it myself. I am interested to hear what the culprit is with yours. As always... you're the best and keep doing what you do. Tight lines!
fishes so hungry down there hehe
Obsessed with fishing CZcams and you’re channel is up there for me in my Favs
Haha awesome James thanks for tuning in!!!
Have never added a soft swim bait onto a flair hair jig. Gotta try that. Great video.
Had the same problem, replaced the fuel line and primer bulb first, then started dissecting a bunch of other stuff after that didn’t work. Turned out the connection to the brand new primer bulb was installed incorrectly from the factory. The inner liner buckled when it was installed choking the fuel.
YES! I am going there this summer and I cant freaking wait! Such a cool place and video!
Niiice well good luck when you make the trip!! Lots of fish to catch here.
I love it the outro in the dark!! Keep catching them!!
Haha thanks 🙏🏻 tight lines!
Absolute ripper of a catch rich!! Awesome! I've got stripers on the brain, come on June.
Haha thanks Zach! Yeah Ive got Stripers on the brain to and I tried three days straight for them here on a river but didn’t do well. I know guys were catching them though.
You should offer a quick learning fishin episode........i'm trying to learn.... here in Chucktown
Nice Mogan!
Love how you're fishin where I grew up!! And hell of a catch!!!
Thanks Nick and thanks for watching! It’s a cool place fishing around Charleston here.
Wow What a huge RED. I can not believe it did not fight Hard. Good Job.
Yeah Idk 🤷🏻♂️ I caught one a little smaller yesterday on a crab and arms were burnt out after. Maybe that one was old, cold, or sick.
Nice video brother... greetings from Cancun, Mexico
Thanks for tuning in!! Tight Lines!
Awesome man! I just got this same trolling motor on my 2021 Stingray 206CC. My 1st boat, my 1st trolling motor...A lot of firsts. Would be great if at some point you did a guide on the trolling motor alone!
Great video!! Maybe it’s a clogged fuel filter or possibly clogged fuel lines, or fuel line check valve
That was some good fishing!
Im happy summer is here ☺ 🤗
Hey, I received my fishAholic merch yesterday, those long sleeves are sweeeeeeeeeet, love the logo.
Awesome!! I’m glad to hear I hope you can catch some biggies while wearing it!!
No worry rich everydays your videos awsome n lot of good content👍 keep your angler journey, like always Live to fish, Fish to live🤝
Come visit the west coast, Rich. Fish Fort Ross, CA. with the NCKA brothers and sisters.
Hell yea just about binged all your vids and a new one drops 👌🏾
Haha awesome well welcome to the fishaholic fam! 🙈🎣
That’s why it’s called a BOAT, Break Out Another Thousand
As a south LA man, I can tell ya, he was bigger than 36”. I’m thinking a hefty 38-39”! They are amazing fish. Great catch brotha.
Thanks Adam!! I should of had a tape but I got that fish back quick and she swam off strong so that was good. I caught another Bull yesterday that was a little smaller and it was an entirely different fight. My arms were feeling it after haha.
Great vids!
Try seels outboard. Really trust them. Or Whittion marine on Clements ferry
Sick video dude!
Please do some Fly fishing for reds, snook and tarpon!!!! You are a legend man
Does catching “Sheephead” make you a “Shepherd?” Your videos are sooooo informal and entertaining… Keep ‘em coming..
Rich have your ignition coil changed out. My buddy had the same exact issue and though it was fuel starved but it was the coil. He also went to many mechanics and wasted a lot of $$$ before getting to the coil. Much aloha bruddah
Man, gotta get back to Chuck town! You should go check out Shem creek in Mt. Pleasant.
Haha yeah I’m still in Charleston and I’ve fished Shem a few times from land, kayak, and the bar lol 😆
Belas pescarias
daqui de Portugal
. Very nice fishing bro
Good luck with the boat bro.. hope everything comes together.
Thanks AR! I think it’s in good hands now and hopefully it’ll be ship shape in no time.
Salam dari indonesia🙏🙏🙏 setrike ika predator bikin ngiler gayss
Always enjoy the vids..🤙🏼🤙🏼
Man that was a toad of a redfish! Can't believe you got him on a bucktail, I've never tried fishing one around here I may have to give that a shot!
I tell yah bucktails will catch everything no matter where I’ve fished. The magic lure lol.
Awesome, happens when you least expect it sometimes
Yeah that’s the best sometimes. I’m glad everything came together like it did!
I used to be stationed at the nuke prototype up the cooper. I used to see absolute monster bull reds right off the pier pretty much year round. Tons of big reds up the cooper. You unfortunately can't get close to the submarines to fish, but you can fish the portions of the river north and south of them and I'm sure you could hit the same fish.
That’s awesome! Stinks even you couldn’t fish it haha.
Good job dude
Stud Red 💥
Nice Thanks😇
Rich. If u had the fuel pump replaced and still not working right. Could be air leak that can lose pressure for fuel to pump into the the engine. Make sure the mechanic check all the valves to seal tight . Maybe that will help . Good luck
Ok cool thanks Karl will do!!
Nice catch! I know exactly where u put in, fished all of that area a couple times but never much luck
Love Charleston
I am so addicted to your videos!
Haha sorry 🙈
Me and my girlfriend sre from nebraska. We went to Florida twice in one month and now are planning on moving there. I went fishing at Pier 60 in
Clearwater. That was nothing like fishing for bass or northern pike back home! I can't wait to do it more there but in a kayak! Thanks for the content!
First cast! Beautiful.
Wow I live right in the neighborhood u launched from
Im always watching your videos dude ,I hope that i can have some of your fishing set up so i can go fishing
Ótimo vídeo, aprendi muito com ele .... forte abraço .... Espírito Santo 🇧🇷
You're going in CHS Harbor in a Kayak ?? You're a lot braver than I am.
I mean, it’s not too bad. Try fishing the Chesapeake bay! We get mad waves on the fisherman’s island portion of the cbbt. It because of the current and wind going like 4 directions at once across a 3 mile long shoal , similar to Oregon inlets sand bar
After fishing off Montauk Light House in the day and at night since I was a kid Charleston harbor is easily doable.
Jahovah and his son gives peace. Thank u
you should have went with 100amp dekota lithiem batter
Thought it was a sea turtle when that Red first surfaced. Great content man congratulations.
Lol yeah idk why that fish came up like that. Maybe the shallow cold water. 🤷🏻♂️
Hey buddy I just watched your video, ask your outboard mechanic to check out the trim setting in the software and trim sensor
Hey Josh thanks I’ll mention that to him!!
Awesome vid! 🔥
You are the most underrated fishing channel ever. I’m shocked that you ain’t at 500k-1mil subs.
Haha thanks man but it is what it is. I still love doing it 🤙🏻😎
Nice. You didn't spend enough time in stuart though bro, were catching lots of monster snook right now.
It’s probably not getting suction check the Johnson plug if you have ine and if so bypass it
LMAO! Hahaha. Check is in the mail.
Welcome to Charleston, if you come back message me for some good sheepshead spots!!
What a hog of a red. Way to go he definitely slurpped it up.
Looks like something tried to eat the trout @ 14:11
I had similar issues last season and although we ruled out- reputable mechanic first thought was fuel pump. Also fuel filter/ water separator could be an issue
I gotcha, this mechanic seemed to pretty much have an understanding of the engine and what is going on so I was confident leaving it with him. We shall see. I’m taking a chance haha 😆
@@FishAholicTV Best of luck. Catch 'em up!
Hey rich. A little off topic but I was looking into possibly getting a St. Croix Triumph Inshore spinning rod (the newest generation).
The medium takes 8-17 lb test and can handle 3/8 to .75 oz lures.
The medium heavy takes 10-20 lb test and can handle .5 to 1.25 oz lures.
For northeast fishing, which would you go with, the medium or medium-heavy?
Both rods will work well but it all depends really on what kind of scenario you’re going to be fishing most of the time. If you are gong to be doing a lot of just inshore bank or kayak fishing the medium is probably fine. But if you are going to be going out on a boat from time to time and fishing deeper water. The medium heavy will help more for penetrating the hook and having the right back bone for pulling in bigger fish.
@@FishAholicTV
Thank you. I appreciate the input.
Sheepys !
good video keep up the grind 125k incoming
Thanks bro!! Yeah Almost there it’s so cool 🤙🏻
What is the size of the bottom sweeper jig you are using and what is that first white jig you were using? Thanks my son loves your videos and I’m trying to stock him up when we go to the coast this summer!
Never mind I just read the description! All I need are the sizes now! Thanks man!
Earlier than the fish to Rich’s bait!
I’m planning to be in Charleston in October 2021 got any tips where to fish? This will be my first time ever saltwater fishing
