  • How to unclog a bathtub drain.
    The tool in my video is called a "Tub Drain Wrench" (imagine that). :0)
    It costs around $10 or $11.
    The Plastic "Zip tie" is called a "Hair Snake" and costs @$3.

    Some ideas:
    - how to replace a car air filter (shops charge a lot for this!)
    - how to change a furnace filter
    - putting out fires
    - leaking sink
    - lawn care (various tools, how to set up sprinklers, shutting off water, basic sprinkler repair)
    - shining shoes
    - lighting a water heater
    - cleaning gutters
    - beginner tool sets (must haves when moving out)
    - Maybe review bang for buck brands of tools
    - sports rules, card games to play with family, things to pass time
    - basic first aid
    - things to consider/remember when looking for an apartment or home

      Felix, you're going in the right direction. YT and google are your friends. Don't be afraid to attempt anything, what's the worst thing that could happen? You might have to call someone for more help. Don't get frustrated, there are some things you would need special skills to do. I don't do much auto motor repair or welding for example or electrical work but you can figure it out or always call someone for a little help. Most skilled people will not criticize you for trying.

      Actually. Ive come up with a possibility of why this happens.
      I noticed it after it happened to me. One day, I was going to comment on a video and went to scroll down. In my comment, I was referencing the video and needed exact quotes.
      On my way scrolling back up, i noticed I disliked the video. Only reason why was cause I had accidentally clicked dislike as I was scrolling and hadnt noticed beforehand.
      Had i not scrolled back up, i probably wouldnt have noticed. Im sure there's trolls and assholes that dislike stuff like this, but I'm betting most of those dislikes are accidental and not intentional.

    I’m so glad to see you’re at 66k subscribers in what seems like a month of posting. It’s like 1.30am I’m crying I’ve already almost watched all of your videos since finding your channel on Reddit. Even at the end man when you’re like “You got this” you’re like the zeitgeist of Great Dads. Please keep making more of these videos as many as you can. I don’t even know what to ask you as I’ve taught myself everything but I’m only 27 so there are undoubtedly plenty of battles I’ll have appreciated learning from you first. Like the Toilet, This bathtub and the Oil! You’re the best. Thanks CZcams Dad.
    Edit: just in the off chance you read this were you at all influenced by Jordan Peterson? Either way please don’t stop being the good in the world you’re the best.

    Dad, how do I check and change the oil in my car?

    • @morallygray6527
      @morallygray6527 Před 4 lety +1

      Hey he has a video on how to check it, but to change it how i do it is i use a jack with some cinderblocks under the car and go under and towards the front half you'll see a little nut, and you want to have something like a deep bucket under this, once you unscrew it oil will start pouring out and when it is totally drained, put the nut back on and tighten it, take out bucket, bring the car back down and add your oil. :) then if you have one use something called a "dipstick" to see how much oil you added if ur not sure how much you need to add. Hope this helps!

    • @rin_okami
      @rin_okami Před 4 lety

      Please don't treat the cinder blocks (or ideally, jack stands) as optional, having your jack break while you're under your car is a nasty way to kill yourself. Jacks are made to lift, not to hold.
      Edit: And make sure you block the wheels you aren't lifting too, for the same reason.
